ROSS RThe guy kept saying to his supervisor that I was a silly girl who did not know better. Even though I did everything properly. Plus he said i would only need to return the unit with half a tank of gas but in reality that is not the uhaul amount so I was billed extra money when i dropped the truck off. I am sure the guy was trying to help but demeaning a customer is not right. Also this business had smoking permitted in the building. I was forced to drive 3 hours one way to pick up a truck and another 3 hours to return back to load my house. Over all I had a very poor uhaul experience.

Mike GI brought truck back after hours but the biggest complaint about this location is no Dropbox for when you go there after hours. Also before I had even started to load the truck I was called by a customer about the truck I had as he was in need of a truck, someone from uhaul gave out my personal phone number to the customer. The next day when I was unloading the truck the same customer showed up at my new place wanting to know when I'd be finished with the truck. There's no privacy protection with this company then on my way to take the truck to the drop-off location the same customer was texting me to find out if I was dropping the truck off

Leanne GWe were coming from Alberta to Saskatoon. The location we were instructed to pick up the trailer at was two hours back from Saskatoon in the direction of Alberta. Fortunately, we received the notice on time so we could pick it up on the way up but it was a day prior to the date we had booked it for. Had this not happened it would have been a 4-hour round trip to pick up a trailer.
Philip VThe owner of the rental place is very friendly and helpful, The truck was dirty when it was returned to him from the previous renter and he hadn't had time to sweep it out, so he tried to do what he could before we got it, however we still had to clean it before we could use it. Other than that it was an overall decent experience, he doesn't have much for other options like moving blankets he had a few which he gave us, but he doesn't have much else to rent or purchase for moving essentials.

TARA MThe guy at the uhaul was very helpful. The equipment however (not his fault) is horrible. The trailer even when full literally sounds like it's going to fall off. It makes so so much noise. I've never heard a trailer make this much noise. It definitely turns heads!!! Also blew a tire on the highway. Was a 3 hour wait to get roadside assistance. And even though my vehicle is capable of towing the small 4x8. This thing just moves and bounces so much that my vehicle has to be serviced. Brakes and shocks do not seem to be ok anymore.

Simon bWell I've been waiting to hear from the regional manager and still have not heard from him. I'm not impressed with your company one bit and it definitely will be the last time I use U Haul. When I first booked the truck I was given a one way rate of 155 and was allowed 93 miles but it should of been in kms as I live in Canada. When I took the truck back the receipt I got back charged me for my full mileage and I was charged an in town move as the guy at the U Haul place never said anything about being charged for an in town move but just to bring the truck back to him. My issue is still not resolved and I placed a deposit of 100 as I paid with my debit card. But overall again another bad experience with your company as this isn't the first time I've submitted a bad review

John GDO MUCH MORE TO HIGHLIGHT THE FINE PRINT REGARDING CONFIRMATIONS NOT BEING GUARANTEES OF EQUIPMENT AVAILABILITY. AND/OR INCREASE THE GUARANTEE NOTICE PERIOD i.e. from 48 hours to at least 7-10 days in advance since moving may require additional manpower who have to take time off work etc. Had originally booked a 1-way cargo trailer. Was informed 2 days prior that we must return trailer to pick-up location (now a 2-way trip with trailer - in fact 3-way because we'd have to return our personal truck to our home starting location) or cancel the reservation. New daily rate offered was cheaper but did not offset extra cost of fuel or wear & tear of personal vehicle, not to mention extra time involved & cost of meals etc. Only available trailer for 1-way was at this location (90 minutes away in opposite direction) and added 3 more hours to our move. This location did not have a working washroom.
Laurel BI can't suggest improvements. What more could I ask for. I had one heck of a time trying to get myself moved, this companies representatives did everything they could to make sure I stayed with in budget get where I was going and returning the truck was simple. The staff have been extremely helpful friendly and supportive to this young mom and her daughter... Thank You !

Denis KI want to start off by saying the business itself is fine. The person working worked his ass off to ensure I had a moving vehicle. Went above and beyond. If it wasn't for him, I'd be sunk. My issue is with the u-haul website reserving me a trailer that wasn't there.
Bob TI've used U-Haul for many years and I have to say that John was the most pleasant dealer I've encountered. He was very accommodating. I had forgotten my trailer ball hitch at the location I was heading to and since I was returning the trailer back to his location, John lent me his so I didn't need to incur any extra costs! Thanks again John!

DOUGLAS HNo check in building, have to call the owner down to the site which is not stated anywhere. Owner contacted us and stated we damaged the tailight when the tape is obviously not fresh, and claims straps were wrecked because they are dirty and worn. Owner claimed photos were not evidence enough that any wear or damage was pre-existing. He also swore in the conversation and was unprofessional.
COBY MBetter instructions to find location. Very difficult to find, required two calls to uhaul to get adequate directions (google maps to the wrong location)
Steven MThe people who answer your phones should be aware of any regulations as to where your vehicles may or may not travel as cancelling a contract two days prior to the pickup of the moving truck causes undue stree and aggravation.

JOHN BI would NOT recommend uhaul ever again . Your trucks have VERY POOR tires. I literally got stuck on wet grass - had to pay $105 to get it towed about 4 feet because there was zero traction. Not an additional expense or inconvenience I planned on. There should be an avenue for reimbursement as a minimum. I am a very unhappy customer!
