June Gthe young man who helped unhitch the trailer and move it was very kind and helpful, and even filled up my slow-leak tire for me. when the head guy finally showed up at the store, though, the first words out of his mouth were that he'd have to charge me for maybe 5 extra days with the trailer, because I hadn't brought it back on the date he mentioned the last time we talked. he didn't say anything about that condition when we talked, though, and he didn't respond to the message I left him that day, missing another chance to be clear about it all. I told him how the pick-up store had told me to call and let them talk to him about the issue, but he told me that my being late had nothing to do with the hitch installation delay, and that it was my personal reason causing the delay after I arrived, and that that was the reason he couldn't give any other discount. -- this is true; I had been in horrendous pain in a hospital for 5 days, which pain still continues, and which made it impossible for me to help the extremely kind 72- and 73-year-old aunt and neighbor who unloaded the trailer for me over the course of the last few days. so now I'm morally in debt to my friends and family because of a series of unfortunate events. yeah ... it's personal. now.

Patricia RTires overinflated. Trash (even though just 1 pop can) left in car door well from prior rental. Messy/dirty/greasy pickup center---but they all are. It would have been nice of the guy renting this to explain a little bit more about the vehicle--at least point out to me to read the signs posted on the back wall of cab well before driving--I didn't even notice they were there until well into trip. Also warn me there was no vehicle manual in truck and that the side mirrors are next to impossible to adjust (dangerous).

lance cWe have dropped two trucks off at this location. The first was uneventful as the location was open. However, the second was after hours and neither the app or the link provided by U-Haul worked as it couldn't determine our location. Even talking to customer service didn't help, although the person spoken to was very helpful. Unfortunately, I'm still trying to get the final bill resolved as we were charged for an extra day even though we returned it a day early and also charged for the after-hours fee even though customer service said they would make a note of the issue and not to make that charge. Still can't get a response from U-Haul to clear those charges.

Juan AThey are primarily a mechanic shop, but return was simple and I did need to extend my rental by one day and they were super helpful about that when I called the request in ahead. The location is easy to find, and I was able to park the truck, but I could see it being tight with the street parking being a backup option.

Mark RI don't have the names, but the Drop off went very well. I really appreciated having the help to ensure I parked correctly on an incline found in the alleyway, to make removing my low car off the AutoTransport have Zero issue. Check out went quickly. No issues, Not picky. Just Real!

Brent PI don't want to be charged for the after hours drop off. There are no hours or days open posted at the location. There is debris everywhere-junk vehicles and no clear parking spots. The uhaul key drop off is hidden on the other side of the building-you have to search for it. And it isn't the fault of the facility-but there is a high homeless population and as I went around the side an individual was walking fast to get inbetween me and my vehicle and was yelling about how someone/something is going to kill everyone. So the key was dropped bc there was no way I was coming back to this place, trying to guess when they're open. Unsafe. Inconvenient.
Kinsley KA 6X4 trailer rented for 4 hours should not amount to $90. Especially for in town moving.

Paul MThis rental was less than acceptable. My original quote of $192 finally resulted in a bill of $335.92. THAT'S BULLSHIT. Originally scheduled for pickup on 04/12, I had to change the date to 04/15 due to a snow storm. Since the only drop off location was closed on Sunday (the drop off day) I opted to pay for an additional day. With the drop off location closed I was basically cheated out of one rental day THAT I PAID FOR. When I discussed the issue with the U-Haul customer service rep I was told that the price had changed as the price I was quoted was for the day the reservation was made - not the day of the rental. The CSR said the price went up due to the fact that the date was a high demand date. Why wasn't the correct price disclosed when the actual pick-up date was entered into the reservation? I have rented from U-Haul several times with little to no problem. I will certainly think twice before using U-Haul again.
Glen MDoing the actual paperwork is timely. Asking patrons to go over damages using their personal cell phone to take pictures and upload is timely and when it is cold outside, it is very difficult. Not all customers want to do things electronically.
