I was highly disappointed due to the fact that I made a reservation in Lancaster which is 50 miles away and I had to go to Tehachapi to pick up my truck, which added two hours to my day, I feel that this was unfair because this I was upset

Got our truck and filled it with $120 in gas. The tank leaked all over the gound with approximately 10 gallons of gas. We reported it to the filling station, which was the U Haul rental location. They would not reimburse us for the gasoline and told us to take it up with Uhaul. Then they gave us a different truck. While i was getting the new truck my husband called Uhaul to get reimbursement and they hung up on him after waiting 20 minutes on the line.

Hi, You have one of the busiest stores. I can suggest that a reservation that is made more than 2 weeks in advance and check in was accomplished online that maybe the equipment such as dollies, furniture pads can be on the truck, but I don't think anyone would do that because the other customers take priority it seems. Not a lot of employees. The mileage verification could already be noted for when the driver arrives too would same time. I spent close to an hour waiting for the clerk to use her phone to check us in and for us to carry out everything to the truck and to get to the point of getting our equipment/supplies we had to stop checking in numerous times and in between customers. I'm sure I am not the only one making a suggestion. It's just a suggestion. Thank you for the discount. You are friendly too. Merci.

You shouldn't take reservations for 8am and then I get there and get attitude and have to watch the cashier make coffee for a hour because "their" rule is they don't rent trucks till 9. That would of been real helpful seeing that I had two movers standing around at $50 an hour. Do better Uhaul

When I dropped of my uhaul rental the employee seemed preoccupied on her phone. Once we got her attention, she took the key and said once she checked in the truck we should get an email. She did not complete the check in while we were there. Later that day I got a call asking about my overdue equipment. I had actually turned the equipment in several hours early. I returned the call and explained the situation the the uhaul rep. She said she added a note about it. The next day I got a call from a regional manager offering to give me the drop off location so that I could drop off my rental. I explained the situation again and she stated she would add a note. After hanging up I called the location where I dropped off the rental and the person who answered said she didn't know why they didn't check it in the previous day and she would get to it once she was done with a delivery. She instructed me to ignore calls from Uhaul regarding the drop off.

The gas was on 1/4 full. I'd suggest fill it up so that the customer doesn't have to do it right at the beginning of the rental

I have rented trucks twice from this location , both times the vehicles were absolutely filthy, could barely see out the windshield, this last truck smelled of cat poop.

Customer service is sloppy, kept me on hold for ten minutes while talking to others but when I hang up and called again with a different person answering she wasbetter than the young lady who answered me thefirst time.

It was very easy to rent the truck I needed. The process was fast and no hassles. We drove away in the truck we needed in 20 mins. I would definitely recommend the Wild Rose Texaco to anyone needing a u haul truck.

The truck I rented has a transmission problem. I barely left the facility and had to drive back to uhaul. They don't have anything available to replace my rental, I ended up not using the truck and requested a refund but so many reasons why they can't refund me. I didn't even use the truck to haul my stuff. The charge on my card is still there and no refunds yet! Not very helpful staff as well.

The cab of the truck I rented was dirty and sticky. The truck kept having the no seatbelt warning go off while the seatbelt was on. I immediately drove back to the rental location since we would have gone crazy listening to that for a 5+ hour drive and they said they couldn't do anything about it and to call uhaul. Not sure if actually applying the emergency brake when I parked was the trick but the beeping did not return. The lock provided (chained to the truck) would not lock and I had to go buy one on my own.

I feel I was over charged . I won't be back to this uhaul location. Running a uhaul out of a busy gas station puts the uhaul renter last .. I'll be calling corp # and complain about overcharge

I use U Haul approximately40 times a year. In most cases I have to go through costumer services to retrieve my Email for reciept. Costumer Service is always on the most perfesonial level. Always take care ofme. Merci

Truck had a filthy windshield and the fuel system had been tampered with resulting in a check engine light that flashed periodically. Staff were aware of a gas cap light being "defective," but if they would have taken a bit more care, they would have seen that in someone's attempt to siphon gas, they had disconnected a hose for vapor recirculation that triggered the engine light and also can be a very dangerous source of ignition. Thankfully, renter is a mechanic and saw the disconnected hose relatively quickly.

Located as part of a gas station/convenience store. Dropped off prior to 6pm closing time for uhaul rentals via phone app. Went inside to give key vice sticking in drop box…was told I had to carry in dozen moving pads and utility dolly. Never in my over 35 years of using uhaul have I been told to do that. My back was already in pain from previous long day in truck and was not expecting to have to move stuff, which I don't do much after back surgery…I usually have my sons help with moving stuff but had my elderly father-in-law for ride back, so I had to do it. Unsatisfactory and I will never use that location again.

This location was great. It was the service from the Fresno office that was terrible. Calling last minute to change my pick-up time and then closing before I could get back to them. Also, changing my pick-up location several times and having the truck at a different location.

Not sure why I needed to unload blankets and moving cart and refrigerator dolly and drop off inside store; I suspect there is a shortage of employees. I was so tired from moving and I had to move more U-Haul equipment. Customers expect a return and drop off of keys not doing U-Haul work, but I do understand this location may be short of a full service U-Haul. I'm grateful to the store for having a location open to serve me.

Location was fine and convenient. There was a young man behind the register who was sweet and helpful but the main lady we interacted with was uninviting and not friendly. We came to drop off the uhaul and when we said we were from Costa Mesa, she gruffly said "I don't take one-way trucks", but this is where we were told to go. She begrudgingly took our keys and dismissed us.

It would be better to have a large U haul sign to indicate where to check in. I walked around the block and walked into the gas station and had to ask around. Clerk was nice.
