The gentleman was friendly, took wonderful care of me. I have used Uhaul several times, sometimes not the best service or equipment. This time though was excellent, I will definitely recommend Wilson's Furniture to friends and family. THANKS Wilson Furniture!!Terry T.

We arrived at 9a prompt to pick our uhaul up which was already reserved. When we got there we were Told our uhaul was being used by the business and we could either wait for it to return or take a smaller uhaul. We couldn't use the smaller as we had to many things so he called the person with the uhaul to bring it back. Finally at 9:45 it returned. No we did not get our 10 hours we were charged extended. We got a sorry and see ya later. I will never go back there again. The gentleman acted like he could careless.Dawn B.

The cab of the truck smelled like marijuana it was not cleaned out the cab or the back of the truck the owner or whoever rented it to us said that they use it to haul furniture but they need to take better care of it and definitely don't smoke pot in itLUCAS L.

The man was not professional at all. He is definitely not there for the business. He kept trying to push me off to another location. And I also don't like to put my credit card on his file for a deposit. I feel like, if you pay with cash, the deposit should be waved. And when an advertising lists an amount, that's exactly what the price should be. I made an reservation for a 10" truck and I must have not confirmed the reservation. So there was a problem with my truck because he said that someone just picked the 10" truck that I requested! I had to get an 15" which cost $29.95. Then he wanted me to put a debit card on file, however something was wrong with my card. Then I realized that they were going to charge my card the same amount I paid in cash. So in the end I had to leave $100 for deposit. The truck should have only been $29.95. That's it! The man charged me $29.95, plus 99 cents. am mile , and I had to put more gas in it before I returned it. Why would a customer be charged all those fees and a fee for renting the truck? I thought the reason for the $29.95. Is that for gas? 99 cents is if I return truck back late. I was only going 6 miles but he charged me 15 miles! I later found out that the truck I had originally made reservations for. was purposely given l my to another customer. They expected me to pay for their truck as well as my truck rental! I don't think it was fair for me to pay $65,64 for a truck that I should have only been charged $19.95. The truck that I rented was not in good condition. Also the man was not going to give me my deposit back until I said something! The customer that took my truck informed me that they did not get charged anything! If there wasn't anyone to pay then he would have only been charged $19,95 for any of those trucks! He was also not charged 99 cents a mile nor did he have to put gas in it! No license were being checked, no reservations made...none of the long, screening process they put me through! Then he wanted me to go to a different location to give them all my information again! I DO NOT LIKE THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THESE PEOPLE! THEY A VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL! I WOULD NEVER REFER THEM TO A FRIEND AND I REFUSE TO DO BUSINESS WITH THEM EVER AGAIN!LEANORA W.

Customer service at the pickup location was absolutely despicable at best. When we booked through UHaul, we originally made a reservation with a different pickup location. When UHaul called to confirm the reservation, they informed us that the original pickup location actually ended up not having the 20' truck we had reserved available for our pickup date and time. The UHaul representative I spoke to was very supportive and helpful; she updated our reservation for the pickup location (Wilson's Furniture in Bridgeport, OH) and offered to honor the price of a 20' truck while reserving a 26' truck for us to use for moving day. I wish I could remember her name, because she was truly amazing. During our phone conversation, she explained that Wilson's was open at the time of pickup and that we would need to go into the store to process our pickup, which was fine with us. We had originally only reserved with the online 24/7 pickup because the original location was not open on our moving day. Come moving day, we arrived at Wilson's furniture a few minutes ahead of schedule so we could be at the house we were moving out of in time to meet our friends/family who had agreed to help us move. As soon as we walked into the store with our daughter, we were "greeted" by an older man who had a rude tone from the start. He acted truly inconvenienced by us coming into the store on a Sunday during their normal business hours (there were no other customers in the store and he was sitting down when we came in). His attitude was entirely inappropriate and unprofessional when addressing any customer, but especially customers who came in with their young child. He was snippy and informed us that we needed to go through the online pickup as we had originally reserved. When I tried to explain that the website was not cooperating and also that we were told to go into the store by the UHaul representative anyway, he abruptly cut me off and repeated that we had to do it ourselves, outside, in the rain. Fine; we're capable adults, but there was still no reason for the unprofessional behavior. We went back outside and began trying to muddle through the online process again. Not one photograph of the 26' truck we were issued was updated; there was a large amount of damage not documented in any of the several photos. We went through and took photos of the entire truck and disputed everything on the website (extensive damage, dirt, and so on). Then, once that was all completed and submitted, we had to wait for our identities to be verified by UHaul since Wilson's would not do it in person. Finally, we were able to get the access code for the lockbox with the truck key inside. When we went to verify the odometer reading, the recorded mileage through the site was lower than it was in the odometer; we disputed that. Lastly, we had to verify the amount of gas in the tank; the site listed it as slightly over 3/4 of a tank...the actuality was that there was around 1/4 of a tank, so we disputed that. We had no issues with the truck or equipment once we got on the road, but we were late meeting our friends and family to move. We rented the truck from 11am until 5pm that day, but we were able to return the truck to Wilson's shortly before 4pm. When we tried to return the vehicle, we were unable to get in-person help...so we tried to do it online and the site kept telling us our order did not exist. Unsure of what to do, we took a time-stamped photograph of the odometer and gas gauge and returned the truck key to the lockbox. Today, the day after, we were both at work. I work in a correctional facility and I am not permitted to bring my phone inside. When I went out for a break around 2pm, I had two missed calls and voicemails from two different numbers. Both were in regards to the UHaul truck, instructing me to return the call(s). In the second voicemail, left a few hours after the first voicemail, I was told I needed to update my contact information and that I needed to return their call to explain why we never returned the 26' truck. When I called back, the man who answered the phone was rude and condescending making comments such as, "Okay, and? We're Wilson's. What am I supposed to do for you?" When I explained that I was simply returning a call, the man again had an attitude and would not let me speak. He finally put me on hold telling me I needed to "just wait." The second man that answered the phone mentioned that I couldn't just avoid their calls, at which point I again explained that I was working at a DOC facility and am not permitted to bring my phone in, therefore I did not have access to my phone when they called either time. Eventually, the second man I spoke to at Wilson's said he would take care of it once I was able to explain that we had returned both the truck and the key before 4pm the day prior and that we had returned the key to the lockbox because we couldn't get assistance in the return process and weren't sure what to do. Shortly after ending that phone call, I checked my bank account which we had used to book the reservation. There was a $79 charge for the original quote (which I had agreed to as an estimate) from the day of the rental, a $59 charge from the day after (today), and now there is a third charge for $97 (the price on the receipt that was sent to me at 3pm this afternoon) in addition to the first two. All three charges are showing in my account as being from Wilson's Furniture. Quite frankly, I am disappointed. I hope this review (which I understand is lengthy and "extra") helps save someone else the trouble of dealing with this pickup location. Moving is stressful enough as it is without adding in an absolutely unnecessary level of disdain and condescension that Wilson's Furniture provides its "customers."Melissa K.

I had taken picture of the gas tank, and the Crack on the left front of window, like suggestion to show when I returned the truck, but no one was at the location, even though their hours said they would be. Then even though the gas tank was left exactly if not more where it was when I received it, I get charge an extra 74 some dollars an change. If it wasn't for the location where I picked it up being so considerate, I would of given you a lower rating.Schrene S.

If U-Haul would update their Google maps for CORRECT location. My husband and I drove up and down route 7 looking for this location. Thank goodness their location does have trucks easy to see from roadside otherwise we would have been really late in picking up...bad enough it took us a good 15 min over our expected time to find it.Amber B.

I have been charged almost $1900 for what was supposed to be an $800 trip to Georgia with my original quote. I will be disputing these charges and contacting the corporate office. Please make sure you get a copy of your rental agreement there and don't have it emailed. I never received mine. I was charged an extra amount for going over the miles that they put in. I thought that I paid in full for a one way travel and thought it would be all done but got an extra charge at time of dropping off the equipment was told it was for going over the miles. The people here are very courteous and pleasant and helpful with everything but I am hesitant to ever use them again due to the extra charges I got due to going over miles that they put in. They should have included the use of going to the apartment and back to the Uhaul place to drop off the equipment which I don't think they did.Patricia S.

Equipment wasn't in great shape. Wasn't very clean. Staff was rude and unhelpful the entire time. Very unfriendly. I was charged extra for gas even though I made sure to fill it back to what it was when received. I returned the rental around noon and my invoice claims that I returned it at 230. This is the second time I tried this location and will NEVER be going to this location again, for ANY business. I will strongly recommend to others that if they need to rent Uhaul equipment, to drive a little further to do so. This place has shady practices and hurts the Uhaul name.XAVIER N.

Dealer was not there when we arrived. Fumbled around the rental process. Did not have the dolly that was reserved and although said sorry, made excuses like it really wasn't that big of a deal, and it impacted our move greatly. The office was a mess and our move was delayed because of their inefficiency. Would never go back there and would never recommend to anyone.LISA B.
Wilson furniture was great. But we were originally suppose to pick up a truck at Naylors in Martina ferry but when we got there they were closed. Although this pick up was quicker than the last, I can't wait until the office is moved to another location. Right now you have to go into Wilson furniture, and ask for someone in the U Haul department. The Wilson staff treat U Haul customers as annoyances. I even overheard one saying she can't wait until they move the U-Haul business out of there. She knew I was waiting because she was the one who told me to have a seat. So I think that snide comment was for my benefit. My previous Pick up experience was the same with the Wilson staff treating me as an annoyance.Lynnette A.
