I signed the contract for 29 dollars. The store only has 1 worker, and she is trying to maintain a gas station, uhaul, and a restaurant. When I signed, I was told to drop the trailer off where I picked it up from because she is so busy. The next morning, I received an email that I was charged 60 dollars. The store owner refused to honor the original receipt and contract. He was extremely rude and aggressive. Very poor representation of the Uhaul company.

I opted to use the truck share feature so I wouldn't have to go inside or anything like that, just get in the truck and go. With that being said that feature didn't work, it kept asking me to put in additional contacts and phone numbers, I put in at least 4 different names and numbers all leading to the same result of need another contact. The automated messenger thing that is supposed to help said that the contact didn't answer the phone, which is not true; my phone never rang and neither did my partners. The only way we even go the truck was because we went inside, talked to someone, and had to fill out all the information all over again. (The people working at the store were so helpful and nice, would go back just for them.) I just don't understand how you can make a feature that is supposed to make getting the truck easy and seamless and Then have it make the process so much harder.

Trailer didn't come with cord for break lights We had to buy our own Then uhaul tried to take the cord from us we had to show the receipt to prove it was ours, and we weren't offered any sort of discount. Disappointed

First they call us and say they don't have a trailer for us the day before we picked up and we had to then drive an hour to get it. He told me to hook it up myself, it was pouring down rain, so I didn't get to check the inside. So after I already said it was all good (because I wasn't standing in the rain any longer after hooking up the trailer myself) I discovered the inside was filthy and had trash in it. I filed a complaint and still haven't heard from the area manager 10 days later. And when I dropped it off the person there said the chains weren't on right and we were lucky to make it safely all the way to Washington from Virginia.

I was charged 28,00 $ for insurance I declined. The man who helped me insisted I take the insurance repeatedly, when I declined he became very rude and told me, "good luck, you'll pay". He had me sign that I declined the insurance, but I was charged anyway.

You did not honor my original pickup location, chosen over a month in advance of my move and instead forced me to drive an hour out of my way to get the truck, costing me extra time and money. You did not offer any compensation and overall were completely apathetic to your screw-up and my predicament as a result. I will not ever be using uhaul again in the future. Your treatment of customers is abhorrent.

The truck I rented was not there at my reservation time. I was told they did not know if they would have it later that day or not. I asked if I could get a different truck for the same price since it was their mistake. I was told no - I would have to pay the higher rate. My only option was to pay more or call uhaul's 1-800 #. When I called -there was an estimated wait time of 40 min. There was no customer service at all and only 1 guy working so every time I tried to talk to him - I had to wait in a long line behind people buying gas and lottery tickets!!!

Equipment was great, but the check-in process was tedious and took over 1/2 hour. That process put me behind schedule and was a bit frustrating.

Agent/store clerk was not friendly. No customer service. I told him I needed to turn in a truck. He told me to leave the key and he would take care of it. I was authorized 203 miles; only used 171.4, but was charged additional 59,40 $.

This was not the location I requested. I had requested the Powhatan location and was told at the last minute that I needed to go to another location. That was 30 minutes out of my way and was very inconvenient. I wasn't allowed to return to a more convenient location. That's pretty poor customer service. I probably won't use uhaul again.

I reserved and paid for this trailer rental months in advance. I wanted to pick the trailer up in Farmville. I was informed the day before the rental began that I would not be able to pick up the trailer in Farmville and had to drive 50 miles each way to pick it up. Further, they were not open on Sunday so I had to pick it up Saturday during my daughters graduation. I sent my two sons to pick up the trailer and the gentleman would not do the transaction with my son. I was on the phone for an hour trying to clear this up DURING MY DAUGHTERS GRADUATION. NOT HAPPY. The rental place did not help my sons hook up the 8X12 trailer and they had to wing it themselves. Ridiculous. What can you do to improve for the next customer? Have competent people that rent these items and give earlier warning when an item is not available in the city desired and you have to drive 100 miles out of the way to pick it up.

I rented from this location two years ago and the same guy that rented to me this time was again rude made inappropriate comment in both times try to charge me for things not related to my particular rental. Who is red, crooked, untruthful are very poor representative of U-Haul.

Transmission was not great...got stuck in a higher gear a few times. I must add I really disliked the hand truck and padding being attached to the side of the vehicle when I did not request it nor did I need to rent it. The equipment took up space that I really needed and paid for. This felt like I had to rent it to move it out of the way. We ended up packing around it but it was very inconvenient.

communication difficult, my location changed at last minute without me being notified. I was told by person 4/16 everything was ready for myy nephew to pickup then on 4/17 he was told I had to be there- 30 mile drive-. Thank goodness after call to uhaul customer service a wonderful rep got things straight and he was able to leave

Awful experience from the beginning. I thought the store manager was very nude and unprofessional. I reserved a truck online but for some reason my name was not showing correctly on the reservation. I could not pick up the truck at the time I requested and had to leave the store and returned hours later after calling U-Haul to get it straight which did not happen. The store owner was rude and at times abrasive. I reserved a trailer TWICE online from my phone while in the store. The owner was not helpful in terms of explaining why my reservations were not showing on his system, despite me showing him the reservation number. I had to call 1-800 UHaul and stayed on hold for close to 30 minutes. I was on a time crunch. We originally only needed a trailer but ended up having to get a truck, despite the trailer being available for the time we needed it. The store owner said so himself. So we ended up paying over 3 TIMES AS MUCH for the truck. What happened when mileage was included in the rental or the mileage rate was way less that the 1,19 $ rate we were charged?!!?? It felt like highway robbery and I was UTTERLY DISAPPOINTED with this. I have never used moving equipment other than UHaul and I can assure you that I have absolutely no intentions of using this company's equipment again.

I parked the truck and trailer in the back of the area and brought the key inside. The cashier who helped me asked if I was comfortable backing the truck into a spot with the trailer still attached without assistance which I told her I was not as I have never driven one before and avoided backing up the duration of the rental. She told me that was fine and asked me to move the truck to a different area which I did. I even ensured the trailer was as close to the spot she wanted me to back into as possible. About an hour later, they tried to charge me a 100 $fee. I called and asked what it was for and it was explained to me that it was a “cleaning fee” for “not disconnecting the trailer”. No one explained to me I had to disconnect the trailer, or I would have. Even when I was asked if I was willing/able to back the trailer into a spot, it was not mentioned to disconnect it. Had I known I would be charged for it, I would have tried to figure something out. Instead I was told the manager was going to charge me, and the cashier didn't even know that was a policy. There was nothing about it in the contract and I returned the equipment the exact same way I picked it up. Just really bad customer service and trying to sneak a 100 $fee on at the end is miserable. I have never once had any issue with renting a uhaul from a corporate store or a neighborhood dealer, but I will be sure to avoid 360 Express when renting a uhaul again in a few months.

The truck was parked in a muddy area. The attendant did not go over the vehicle features and did not open the cargo area for inspection. The ramp was muddy and the cargo area had not been swept clean and was tracked-up with muddy footprints.

The vehicle reserved was not available, your reservation guarantee is a joke, the app is okay but needs work, the staff at the location is what it is - conv store personnel so I wouldn't hold them accountable like I would a U-Haul store, but they're nice enough.
