Transmission was not great...got stuck in a higher gear a few times. I must add I really disliked the hand truck and padding being attached to the side of the vehicle when I did not request it nor did I need to rent it. The equipment took up space that I really needed and paid for. This felt like I had to rent it to move it out of the way. We ended up packing around it but it was very inconvenient.DARRENS W.

Awful experience from the beginning. I thought the store manager was very nude and unprofessional. I reserved a truck online but for some reason my name was not showing correctly on the reservation. I could not pick up the truck at the time I requested and had to leave the store and returned hours later after calling U-Haul to get it straight which did not happen. The store owner was rude and at times abrasive. I reserved a trailer TWICE online from my phone while in the store. The owner was not helpful in terms of explaining why my reservations were not showing on his system, despite me showing him the reservation number. I had to call 1-800 UHaul and stayed on hold for close to 30 minutes. I was on a time crunch. We originally only needed a trailer but ended up having to get a truck, despite the trailer being available for the time we needed it. The store owner said so himself. So we ended up paying over 3 TIMES AS MUCH for the truck. What happened when mileage was included in the rental or the mileage rate was way less that the $1.19 rate we were charged?!!?? It felt like highway robbery and I was UTTERLY DISAPPOINTED with this. I have never used moving equipment other than UHaul and I can assure you that I have absolutely no intentions of using this company's equipment again.Selisha N.

I parked the truck and trailer in the back of the area and brought the key inside. The cashier who helped me asked if I was comfortable backing the truck into a spot with the trailer still attached without assistance which I told her I was not as I have never driven one before and avoided backing up the duration of the rental. She told me that was fine and asked me to move the truck to a different area which I did. I even ensured the trailer was as close to the spot she wanted me to back into as possible. About an hour later, they tried to charge me a $100 fee. I called and asked what it was for and it was explained to me that it was a â€œcleaning feeâ€ for â€œnot disconnecting the trailerâ€. No one explained to me I had to disconnect the trailer, or I would have. Even when I was asked if I was willing/able to back the trailer into a spot, it was not mentioned to disconnect it. Had I known I would be charged for it, I would have tried to figure something out. Instead I was told the manager was going to charge me, and the cashier didn't even know that was a policy. There was nothing about it in the contract and I returned the equipment the exact same way I picked it up. Just really bad customer service and trying to sneak a $100 fee on at the end is miserable. I have never once had any issue with renting a uhaul from a corporate store or a neighborhood dealer, but I will be sure to avoid 360 Express when renting a uhaul again in a few months.Michael V.
