Nothing that I can think of at this time! Our U haul was ready and we pick it up with ease!!

Troy HThe drop-off location was easy to access and the man working the counter was very friendly. I had no issue with drop off, especially in comparison the the fiasco I had with picking up the truck at U-Haul of Santa Barbara, 4417 Hollister Av, Santa Barbara CA 93110.
Tyler Cprovide the location furniture dolly and boxes as an option to sell to future customers. Other than not having those, it was an excellent pick up experience at this smaller location.
JASON LI was told any time after 9 a.m i could pick up. When we got there at 12:30, we could not get into the system. After numerous attempts with the QR code I had to call customer service to reset the reservation, because I was late picking it up. Still had multiple failed attempts called back transferred, finally reset only to spend the next 30 unable to activate our "emergency contact" bc I was the name on the rental and my husband was the driver. a 1,5 hour experience that should have taken 10. Travel on the road was a nightmare. A/C NEVER worked on the 14 hour drive, and the fan would only kick on when we were going downhill. We were miserable. I filed a complaint on line. And was told to discuss with the people we dropped off. They had no idea what we were talking about and basically said uhaul doesn't guarentee the AC will work. Refiled a claim last night. Hoping for a call today and some sort of refund.

Dean TSite sit is closed on Sunday when we went to return the truck. We followed all the steps, took pictures, submitted mileage and gas information. However, when we tried to upload the required pictures, the app wouldn't work. I was instructed to skip the pictures, drop the keys in the drop box and an attendant would call. We never received a call but I did receive notification that we were charged $45 for a cleaning fee and an after hours drop off fee. The truck was clean and why have drop box options if one can't drop the truck after hours? Not happy at all and still have not heard from this location to explain the charge or ask for pics.

I would have liked to have a receipt but I was not offered one and the guy never mentioned giving one. I have to go check my bank account to find out what I had to actually pay. I was not very happy with that part.

peggy wI picked up the truck and it was reading 16 miles til empty. Had to rush to the closest gas station in the early morning in fear of running out of gas. Took me 30 minutes to do the 24/7 login to be able to get the truck. Truck should be given with full tank then I refill it to full. Very likely won't get any refund in gas even though I left it with more gas in it then when I picked it up.

Nelson SI was told the van had 3/4 of a tank of gas and I had to return with that much or more or I would be charged an extra fee. The man that "checked" me out just handed me the keys and I assumed there was that much gas in the vehicle. Since I was preoccupied with getting my 89 year old Father moved into assisted living I did not notice that the vehicle was acutally on EMPTY. So the vehicle stopped running in one of the busiest places possible blocking traffic and putting me and others at risk. Once I got fuel brought to me I immediately put $50 in the tank. When I returned the vehicle I was told I would it was quite common for the fuel to be siphoned from the vehicles. Since it was below 3/4 of tank on return then I would probably be charged the extra fee but they "would see what they could do"
DONNA HThe place was closed. I spent 45 minutes extra calling customer service to try to get the U-Haul and then was charged an extra $20 for it being a "self-service" rental. I was NOT told about the extra fee prior to renting.
Beth AI went in at the end of the day but the customer service was horrible. The store owner was RUDE and SHORT. He rented me a dolly but forgot to mention I didn't have ramp access with the U-Haul I rented My out of pocket expense was DOUBLE what my online quote was. Never going back there
Breaunna PNext time mention the key to the lock is gone. We wasted time driving back to the location to find out after being told we were good to go. Would've been returned on time had we known the issues prior.

kristen cTruck was clean but had half the gas they said it did. Not a big deal there reimbursed that. Big problem is that they charged me an extra day because he didn't bother to check it in until he could do so (very convenient for him). To be clear I dropped it off at 220 and he said I did at 330. I have pictures to prove it because he seemed shady and I didn't want to get incidental charges that I didn't owe for. I've rented a lot of uhauls. This was by far my worst experience with you. I will examine other companys before leaning on just going uhaul like I have my whole life. Extremely disappointed. Then customer service "opened a dispute". I want my money back immediately and action taken against an authorized uhaul representative who is dirty. I was told a manager would reach out to me. Nothing. If I don't hear back from you by tomorrow I will dispute the WHOLE CHARGE with my credit card company for attempted fraud and you can get it from your shady dealer.
Jason HWhile the person at this location was friendly, he was having massive computer issues to the point that he told me he was going to send me to another location to pick up my truck. Finally, he decided against that, and filled out the paperwork by hand. He spent an inordinate amount of time trying to get the computer to work when he could have just filled out the paperwork by hand after a few failed attempts at the computer. What should have been no more than 10 minutes checking out my truck, turned into almost a half an hour because he wanted the computer to work and refused to do the check-in by hand until the very last minute.
Kathleen COur truck had a near flat tire. We were told to take it to a gas station ourselves. The gas tank had been siphoned and there was barely enough gas in it to get to the gas station. THEN we were charged an additional $25 two days after we returned it for a "cleaning fee" and no one called or emailed to let us know. Just avoid it. There are several nearby uhaul locations that have great staff and well maintained vehicles.

Lary lThe manager was an amazing help but the back of the truck had something sticky spilled all over it. Sadly it did get on some of my things before we noticed.

sherry rComplete c and included charges should be discussed up front. There wew unexpected costs and fees etc. Not discussed before rental. I ebded up being charged 4 times what i was led to believe. False advertising and poor customer service. A secondary side income for this business.

Gary FPersonnel were rude and would not honor fuel agreement set forth by California store. Said "there was nothing they could do." After calling the district manager we were issued a refund. Will continue using U-Haul but not from this location.
dorthy FI was charged for 3 items I did not use that the operator of this establishment claims he removed from the truck. I was charged a cleaning fee to remove these items that I did not use. I was then charged a processing fee because I had to complete my online check in by calling customer service (app would not accept pics of fuel gauge/odometer). So a one day, 29 mile truck rental with one dolly should have been just under $100. After what I assert is fraud and what I'm sure will eventually be chocked up to 'an innocent mistake' the bill grew to about $160. So, buyer beware. The location I used is Air Tool Maintenance on River Road in Eugene, close to NW Expressway entrance. Don't say you weren't warned. For the skeptics -- The trucks only come with one dolly and a bag of furniture pads. Everything else you have to rent and receive from Air Tool Maintenance or whatever U-haul rental place you get your truck from. I picked up a clean truck (one dolly, one bag of sealed furniture pads) on a Saturday using the U-haul app and returned a clean truck (one used dolly with seal broken and an unbroken seal on the furniture pads) the next day on Sunday. Air Tool Maintenance is closed on weekends. Therefore, even if I wanted I could not have rented any extra equipment. I repeat. I picked up a new truck from a closed establishment. Monday rolls around when they open and process my truck magically I have extra equipment in the back of my truck that could not have possibly been picked up in the first place.

Brad BIt took me 5 or 6 tries to upload the back of my license. That seems excessive. The pics all looked equally as clear. Just seems weird, and took me 10 minutes to check out.
