Unfortunately, the U-Haul given to me at pick up was defective. I didn't notice until the third day of driving that the cab of the truck leaked whenever it rained. The interior on the ceiling was pulled away from the windshield and water streamed in. I had to sop it up with paper towels before I could drive it. It also damaged some of my belongings that I had in the cab with me. Then I noticed later that there was packaging tape on the exterior of the windshield…like that would do any good.

Tami CThe trailer was great! I dropped it off just after hours, but followed the instructions given to me for after-hours drop-off. However, since I was not able to speak to someone and do a normal check-out / drop-off, the regional office reached out to me later that evening asking if I still needed more time with the trailer. I had to call back the next day to inform them that I dropped it off, and they told me I was all set.

LOUISA TI rented a 5 x 8 covered trailer and was able to get a lot of big articles in it and even almost stand up all the way (I'm 5'9"). It was easy to pull, the doors stayed open and didn't swing back while I was loading. We've had rain almost daily, so having a covered trailer was great. I took a lot of things to a flea market and was able to back in to my spot. The station where I rented it had several options in trailers, and the person doing the 'paperwork' had excellent knowledge and experience to set things up with no problems.

John TThe dealer system was down (we understand there was a widespread outage) when we arrived in the morning to pick up the trailer. Surely there is something Haul can do better to at least provide a list of rentals for the dealers with contact info so you don't have to drive (an hour round trip) only to not be able to pick anything up. Totally threw a wrench in our move. This was obviously out of the control of this location, which is great and I would recommend to anyone.
MERRITT KI have rented vans and trucks from this location, on several occasions, and I've always been very pleased with the service and the conditions of the vehicles. Such nice people!

Marvin GCorrect your pricing. The internet said 19,95 or the van tax and fees and that printed estimate read 49 cents per mile... I went 121 miles. The dealer states mileage was 79 cents per mile. Your website states 69 cents per mile. The estimate provided read 49 cents per mile.. I was billed $119,46 which is higher than what ti should be. 19,95 + (121 miles x ..49 = $59,29 ) = $83,49 + VT tax + hidden fees does not total $119..54 charged to my card. I will comment on your website if not remedied..

Lindsay KYour website has issues. I initially reserved a 5x8 trailer at this location, however, I subsequently received an email stating that I had to pick up the trailer in Williston. Completely unsatisfactory. Barre is a 40 mile round trip, Williston is a 150 mile round trip. Do the math. If you cannot honor your reservation at one location, then ensure the item is delivered there. Do not arbitrarily change locations and expect the client to understand without any explanation or option. I chose to cancel the reservation and reserve the smaller trailer.

carolynn sAfter discovering a tire issue on the trailer he had processed for me to rent, Armand set me up with another trailer. This meant providing me with a bigger unit as that's all that was available. I was not charged extra for better trailer! Great service from a great staff.
Reginald GThe inside of the truck smelled like cow manure and was a bit muddy inside. We only needed it for a few hours so it was not a big deal. Overall a good experience and will use U-Haul again.

Craige OIt would be nice if the mileage rate could be reduced especially with the cost of everything else out there this day in age. I can't think of anything else that could be improved. The rental staff was superb and the service was excellent!
