The vehicle stunk inside, it wasn't full of gas but I was required to fill it before retuning it, and when I returned it they tried to blame me for a dent that was already there. Avoid this placeCHAD N.

The location was closed when I dropped off my truck, and there was no signage to indicate where the office was and how to drop off the truck. We had to hunt around for the office. The office is way in the back of the property...nowhere near the front entrance. Returning the truck very unintuitive and confusing. Adding a few good signs would significantly improve this whole process.GLENN K.

Make the app work, I wasn't able to pick up the vehicle the way the app described. The after hours representative told me â€œtry the website and if that doesn't work then come back laterâ€ which was not at all helpful nor courteous. It's basically a towing garage and repair shop, so it doeesn't have the "look and feel" of a shiny new UHaul location. But frankly that doesn't matter for picking up and returning a UHaul truck. The return place was perfectly fine, and the people were very nice.DAVIDALAN T.
Smelly, dumpy little hole. Woman running the operation actually commented TWICE, loudly, that she would "ass rape" anyone who brought back any equipment that was damaged. She was crude, abrasive, and totally unprofessional. We couldn't wait to get away . Uhaul, you can do better.Jane M.

The staff was incredibly unprofessional and rude, the facility and equipment were dirty, and instructions for return were not included. We had to wait 45 minutes for a truck I did not want, only to finally be given the trailer I specifically asked for when the truck never arrived.SARAH R.
The agent who helped me was extremely well mannered and she walked me through the check out process and the return process. I had a problem with my phone during the return process and I left her a note explaining my problem. When I called this morning she informed me that she was going to call me that everything was good and she checked the vehicle in and all was fine. That was a relief to me. I will use that U-Haul dealer in the future when we move .ARLAND P.
Picking up the truck using the phone was a little dicey as I had completed all the information in advance and yet the online person still needed to verify my information and required me to submit the name of another family member to rent the truck when U-Haul had my credit card information etc. it was stressful and unnecessary frankly. This had nothing to do with the U-Haul location and everything to do with the company.James D.

The place was grubby, muddy and weed-infested. Also, the office smelled of cigarette smoke, and the guest chairs were occupied, respectively, by a dog and a cat. That said, the help was quite commendable! We were allowed to shift our reservation forward without hassle. Thanks for that!DIAN S.

I have rented a pickup from these folks several times, but no more. This time, they charged me an extra fee for returning after hours (w/o QR code) when I actually returned it to them during their working hours, and on time.... she could not explain the extra charges and put up a smoke screen. This isn't the first time with this U-Haul outlet. I'll try anyone else at this point, but I won't go to this place (Basin Towing/Durango, CO)!RICHARD F.

I am sure that the owners of this facility have the resources to do some mud mitigation. When I have to go here, I am reminded of a developing country and a Mafia money laundering facility. The least that the underpaid employees can do is to wear masks as is the rule during Covid.LORI G.

When you email a client the location for Pickup, make sure it is the right location. Folks are busy and when already on the road, they dont need to be mislead. When I returned home I planned on dropping the trailer off next door as our property actually borders a Uhaul location. Instead, I get an email to take it to a location 30 minutes in the wrong direction. I feel like I'm getting worked over here. I did learn from the dealer in Peyton that I should have been able to return the trailer to any Uhaul dealer. I worked at a Uhaul as a kid, back then heads would roll over shenanigans like this. It'd be best if you took 50 $off my bill.BILLY B.

Convenient location although returning trucks is tricky because of the layout of the site on a storage facility. The mobile check in/out process didn't work properly on the app, had to use the website, but that's not the fault of the location.Maureen P.
The reason for my rating... Got the truck all loaded with no problem, didn't get out of the driveway and noticed a low tire, made it to the gas station to fill it to the recommended air pressure of 32 psi, noticed a bulge, so I let out some air. Didn't make it 15 miles from origination and the tire blew. It took 45 minutes to get a hold of roadside assistance 2 hours later, I was back on the road.Kimberly G.

Central on line booking was a disaster ! Site keeps crashing. No one answered the phones. Personnel at this site helpful and I made a booking on site, but they were unable to cancel my online booking through your chaotic central system.William C.

None; picking up the trailer was easy enough. It occurred to me after I was already on the road that we didn't do a walkaround or a damage inspection before I left, so I could have been blamed for damage that was already there but not documented since there was no inspection. On a different note, one thing you can do to improve the customer experience is actually have the equipment available at the location where the reservation was made. If there wasn't going to be a trailer available in Farmington, NM, then the reservation shouldn't have been allowed. I only found out ONE day before my trip that the nearest U-Haul location that had an auto transport was an hour away in another state.Aaron G.
