The automated drop off process is horrible here. No connectivity on and error messages on the UHAUL network. I spoke to the rep who could not service me via phone and sent me the uhaul CS # that had a 20 to 30 minutes wait time. I sat there at the location for over half an hour trying to get the app to function properly and avoid a $50 no check in fee. You all need to fix your network.Kimbel W.
1. almost NO cell phone signal to check-out or in a truck. I just had to drop the keys in the lockbox, because I couldn't check it in. 2. I asked the employee if he could check it in for me and he said it would be awhile because he had to "bag some blankets" (i guess that's more important)dwayne D.
This location address did not show properly on gps. We had issues connecting and getting things uploaded. It took us over 20 minutes to depart. One othe thing that doesn't have to deal with the location itself if uhaul pricing is deceiving. 19,95 for a rental that I took for one trip 19 miles there and back and cost me almost $95 in the end. Uhaul does not mention that you have to fill the gas tank back up until you get your contract. I thought this was included in the 0,69 per mile rate. Next time I'll just borrow from a friend and pay them.Krista R.

After a long haul, the only drop off location found at origin location was 60 miles from my home. We had 30+ locations closer that were neighborhood uhaul locations but would not allow origin destination to drop off. I called this location being the closest location. Bobbie was amazing. Bobbie relocated my drop off location, and allowed remote drop off at the facility. Absolutely stellar. Saved my family two hours of collective drive time, made it super super easy, and absolutely would recommmend this location for service alone. Merci.Dylan M.
I felt that following the rules per the agent when I picked up the U-Haul. It was to be $29,95 plus $.85 a mile my total bill should've been under $100. To add $20 because I returned the truck at 6 o'clock at night and there was no one there as a late fee and the additional charges I think was ridiculous and I would love to hear from somebody from U-Haul. Mary is about the rudest person I have had to deal with. I checked in after hours but that location is not manned. They charged me two extra days. When I rented the uhaul absolutely no explanation. He said there it is go hook up and see ya later. I have rented from this l9cation multiple times all bad experience. Once the trailer was loaded with roaches. Each time they are rude. I recommend a secret shopper. Uhal will be my last choice for rental in the future.Robert L.

It states there are office hours and pick up/return, there was no one there. Lot was a mud hole to try to stand out in the rain to take pictures of truck for next customer. Don't advertise hours if there is none.Robert C.

Packed the truck to move to my new home, the deal fell through so I had the pruck parkerd for over a month. I kept paying but when I turned it in with more gas than I had, swept and cleaned, I was charged an extra day, 12+ in gas and a cleaning fee. What kind of parasites treats people like this! I am appauled that this even happened. I have my gas reciept, you have the miles, the math is pretty easy. I rent Uhauls many times a year but always from Thomas in Santa Rosa Beach, not these unethical people in Freeport! I reaqlly can't be the only one who they have taken advantage of there.Nicholas N.

I have one issue. My return time was 9 am and I returned at 9:40 am and you charged $24 fee. That is HORRIBLE customer service. Did you ever consider traffic and accidents? I rent a lot for my business. I think if a competitor comes to town I might be compelled to use their service.Kimbel W.

After I explained my situation with a broken down car, she took care of getting an auto carrier trailer from another location, got the trailer hooked up to the truck and even helped me to find a place to eat lunch while waiting on the trailer to arrive. strap on auto carrier was half gone and ripped. Said it was my problem to figure our how to load car and if I damaged the car carrier. No customer service. He said that is why it is called "U-Haul". Truly awful approach to your business model. Oh well that is how you operate your business in Florida!Eric J.

The vehicle was dirty and poorly maintained, I had an driver hit me and I call to report the issue and the personnel was rude and bluntly told me they going to charge me money for repair. I sent her a picture of the damage how minor it was and only got a bill for 260 worth of damage. Worst part the damage is so minor a magic eraser can remove it. No one was there on a Monday. The cell service is poor so using the U-haul app was very slow in uploading pics. I made sure to leave the truck very clean but was still charged a $25 cleaning fee the next day for no good reason given.Jody G.
Only complaint was we dropped the truck/ trailer off to the owner and he didn't complete the return for 4,5 hours after so we were charged for an extra day. We returned it all at 12:30pm on 5/16/2022 and the return was completed at 4:51 pm that day. Otherwise the own was there after hours and helpful.Kevin A.

Was held a charge 2x the amount of actual cost Was charged 33 dollars for fuel I did not use I drove under 20 miles When I picked up the vehicle I got home and was contacted by the location that I needed to come back and move my car out of the parking lot during the middle of my move I had to borrow a movers car and move my car onto the grass to avoid being towed. Lastly the vehicle drove like it was about to breakdown/ when I told the person on duty he told me they don't check the vehicles between rentals. In all I will never use that location and probably the company ever again. The excess in charges were the icing on the cake. Not to mention the 2 times I had to call to get help both calls I was on hold for nearly 1/2 hours. I will say that the customer service on the phone were quiet polite. The uhaul online check in experience was terrible. When I initally reserved the truck online I submitted everything that was asked of me and the info on the website indicated that checking in a mobile device would be quick. However, we waited over 30 minutes at the pickup location trying to check in. Things like asking for a photo of the drivers license should be part of the preliminary info not the time of pick up. We finally had to call and wait for someone to call back after 20 minutes. The process needs work.Brian U.

We had a small issue with drop-off location. The address was not provided with clarity, and the people we spoke to wanted to send us a long way from our final destination. This was not an ideal pickup for me. My original choice didn't have the equipment I requested. Then I switched to this location. There was no one on site when I picked up the U Haul. They had hooked it up for me but no one to talk me through anything. When I called to let them know I was on site, they were at lunch and I had to wait until they got to a computer. The tow dolley was old and I think it contributed to my accident. I was not satisfied with this pick up location.Kerwin L.

Not sure what to think of this location. Equipment not ready as requested, latch on back roll up door was so bad, about to fall off and took two people to safely open and close it.
