Its a vehicle repair shop that was run down and dirty. The representative was in a hurry and was complaining about having no trucks. The truck was not cleaned for pickup, there was broken glass and dirt inside. I had to drive 3 hours there and back to pick up the truck.Randolph H.
The truck and location were fine. Except every booking I have ever made with Uhaul has gone wrong. I've never once been able to just pick up the truck and go, there's always a booking error or scheduling conflict. What's even the point in booking weeks in advance if your just going to be charged 'same day' booking because Uhaul had to change your order.Ian H.
This location was given to me, it was not my preferred location for pick up and was 2 cities away from where I live. The location just looks like a dumpster. Also, the pick up date was changed to the next day which caused us a huge money loss. You need to guarantee truck availability and location for pick up.Maria V.
My experience was absolutely horrible. Let alone my pickup time, truck size, and pickup location was changed the night before my move, the people we dealt with at the pickup were horribly rude. They barely even spoke to us when we had questions and when we tried to ask them why our truck had changed they wouldn't even respond. I've never had such ride customer service people. I had my elevator booked for 9 am and the truck pickup was supposed to be at 8 am so we would have time to pack up. When my time was moved to pickup at 9 and I called in and I informed them about my elevator booking I was told â€˜oh ya that will be tight' and that was it. We booked with u-haul because in the past it has been an easy move and we believed it was a reliable company but after this last move and the way the customer service team dealt with our situations I don't know if I would go with them again. Also the price of what we paid for the truck when it wasn't even the size we had requested was incredibly frustrating and a bit shocking. Overall it was not a good experience. This pickup location was horrible. Would tell anyone to absolutely avoid it because the workers were rude and unhelpful.HAYLEY M.
Jack was broken and staff didn't check when we picked up auto transport. Check equipment are working throughly so customer can leave with peace of mind. It was difficult to load and unload our truck due to auto transport Jack's not working. Called uhaul when we started loading was customer service said first they will charge us even it wasn't our fault and after sometime they said they will waive but to send service people they said it will take 2 hours for them to get to the location. We were already late because truck came in late from our pickup time 5 hours. Truck was fine and easy to drive. Leaving feedback so Uhaul can go extra mile to keep customers happy and hassle free. We were scheduled to pick the vehicle up at the Surrey location at 5:30 but received a text redirecting us to this location. When I called to confirm the new pick up location, we were told that they close at 4:30. Fortunately we were able to make arrangements to get the vehicle left outside the gates for us but why would the head office direct us to pick up a vehicle that was closed for our pick up time? If I had not called to confirm we would not have been able to pick up the vehicle.Howard M.

Clean up. Look professional. Everything looks so sketchy. The only thing this location did well was be accommodating. We had booked on uhauls website and when we got to the pick up location the business told us they hadn't been a uhaul dealer for 3 months. It took an hour on the phone with uhaul to sort out the situation, we still didn't get the equipment we had reserved and we had to drive to a totally different much farther location.Jonathan S.

You can add options other than packages online, because it turns out it would have been cheaper for me to get the truck and pay the mileage than to get the package. We tried to drop the truck at three different places. This location was locked and not accessible. The cust service rep suggested we keep it for another day for free and deliver Monday. Not acceptable!! We also paid for a full tank of gas, and I would like a refund please.Louis S.

Customer service was a joke. Shady dealings with value pricing (I've driven the same vehicle further for less cost). They lacked furniture dollys and we're extremely unhelpful. Standoffish service and apathy made me feel more like a bother than a priority. Awful experienceSHAWN E.
I was given the wrong truck. I stood in the freezing rain to review the photos on the app. I had to upload the damage photos which were not indicated on the app. Then when I checked the mileage, I noticed it was different. The uhaul employee told me to dispute the mileage and upload a photo. I then got an error message. He then noticed it was the wrong truck. Once I got the truck, I had to go through the entire process again, in the rain.LINDA I.
Received a phone call the next day from the operator of this location threatening me with the expense of a tow truck because he couldn't find the keys, WHICH WHERE IN THE DRIP BOX. He had one place to look, decided not to look there, and instead called my phone threatening me with extra expensesCole C.

my only complaint is when i asked how much fuel i would need for the trip that i had to take he told me to put in a minimum of 150 dollars worth, as it turned out this was 40-50 dollars too much fuel and when i asked him if i could get reimbursed for the fuel left in the truck....he told me there was nothing he could do :( I feel Im out 40 bucks ! My reservation was cancelled the evening before pick up and I had to change locations for pickup which delayed my loading time, I incurred extra time for the moving guys and just to add to the delays my U box was not available for unloading at the time reserved and I had to wait another 30 mins, my entire day was disrupted and cost me more with these delays , very disappointing Further more the truck was not fueled fully so how can I get exact refill to not get charged for fuel?Kulvinder C.

The person I talked to seemed more annoyed than anything. He added mileage and time to my rental because I had to go through the US because of the road closures in BC telling me that they would be refunded if I didn't use them, but I just had to pay another 50$ because I left a tiny bit less gas than it had when I picked it up.JULIEN-PIER B.

Actually have the 15' truck you reserved for me instead of giving me a 10' truck with no ramp and telling me of this 4 days before I'm moving. The guy on the phone in fact said to me to view this as a courtesy he was even calling me that day vs the day of my move, and then when I returned it the gate was closed and there was no lockbox. The only thing that was good about this location was that after I called U-Haul this U-Haul man appeared out of nowhere to take the keys back and I was able to finally leave.RITA J.

When we went to return it at the designated location the gates to access the truck parking and key drop were locked. I parked the truck next to the fence and received messages threatening to call a locksmith or tow the truck at my expense and stating that I should have dropped off the keys. (I couldn't, the gate was locked) This location probably shouldn't be a drop off point during evenings or weekends, or probably at all.JAMES V.

Trailer smelled like burnt brakes on pick up, emergency application lever was pulled and delayed pick up. Did not get link to check trailer for damage until we were well on our way, and by the time we had a safe location to fill it out, the link had expiredALFRED W.

Came to drop the uhaul, someone came to me, I greeted him, he didn't answer, no smiles, no response, he just went straight to the odometer, checked fuel level, checked mileage, oil life etc and took the car key and was leaving. I had to stop him and say I was told to take pictures. He reluctantly gave me back the key. I took the pics, uploaded and he came back and collected it. I asked shouldn't I lock the vehicle, he said leave it with a some strange tone, not sure what or who he was unhappy with. Was directed to pick up the truck in New Westminster vs the booked North Vancouver location. NW location is a UHAUL repair center, in a heavy industrial area. Very tight lane ways etc. Service and staff was goodâ€¦asking to make alternate pick up location the day before was not expected.Richard D.

There was an issue with my flat rate for a one way rental. However the agent at the Mission BC location was extremely patient, kind and helpful to not only me, but all customers who came in.
