Unhappy that U-Haul changed my pickup and drop off location to a spot that was further away than I originally booked. Caused us to drive further and cost us more money. Should reimburse us for some mileage in my opinion.MARK L.

I put more gas then what I picked it up on and was still overcharged and wasn't compensated for the extra gas or credited towards what they charged extra. I can tell this Uhual/Liquor store place just wants peoples money! Literally took 2 minutes to drive off with the uhaul. I picked up around 2pm and returned Uhaul 11:30pm the same day which they said was fine! that is one day. They charged my card $173 before i left that included everything with 90miles. I went a little over which is fine and had no problem with paying what I used but when the day after I returned it they tried to charge me 2 days when I had the uhaul for 7 hours and trying to take another $219 out of my account after i paid $173 but not once tried to call me about it instead just trying to over take money out of my account ! very unprofessional and at that the Uhaul had no AC will never go back here and 12/12 do not recommend. Will not get me for my money! Do your calculations right and maybe you can be successful taking it outnicole F.

Trailer had two lights out on driver side. When I returned the trailer, attendant asked me to help park it and another trailer in specific spots. Attendant said thanks and I got you, no need to come in, but I was thirsty and went in to buy a drink. He provided no receipt for the trailer but thankfully I purchased a drink and had receipt. Email next morning said I checked the trailer in 14 hours late. Thankfully when I called the location and told another attendant what happened, they corrected the charge.John S.

This u-haul location is part of a liquor store. The employees are rude, and put their liquor store customers first, while their u-haul customers wait to be served. The trailer I rented from them had under inflated tires, the trailer Jack was nearly impossible to move from not being properly lubed, and the ratchets for the tie down straps were rusted and very difficult to operate. I'm NOT happy at all!Cleve H.

It wasn't the location that I was upset about. It was the fact that I was booked to pick up the truck closer to home. Then the day before moving day I got an email stating that the pick up location was moved to another location an hour away. Because the truck I requested for was not available. A couple reasons why this makes me frustrated is cause 1)I called to make the reservation and if the person I spoke to knew there were no trucks available then let me know so I can look elsewhere. 2) the new location was and hour away, which threw my whole schedule off. 3) the new location was 33 miles away. Uhaul charges you if you go over a certain amount. The miles start from the pick up location. I had a stop simply because of the fact that the pick up location was so far. Overall the location was decent I'm dissatisfied with the pick up location changes and how it was handled.Jonathan S.

Although the attendant (I believe his name was James) was extremely helpful, the trailer that we had reserved was not available. There was a larger trailer there which we were offered but at a higher rate than we were quoted. Apparently the renter who had the trailer did not return it. I was also offered to find another location that had the trailer I needed. This was not an option as I was on a time crunch and it was already late in the day (6:30pm). Had someone called me earlier in the day I may have been able to make other arrangements. Long story short, this trailer turned out to be too large which resulted in all of our belongings sliding around in the trailer during our two 6 1/2 hour rides (to/from) location. This was our first time using a trailer and the length of this one made it difficult for us to maneuver. I am confused as to why we needed a reservation if what we reserved wasn't available and we weren't notified before the time of pick up.Annette G.

As this was a long trip to Florida, I inquired as to if a maintenance check had been made i.e. engine compartment - fluid levels of engine oil/power steering fluid/brake fluid/radiator fluid, battery terminal condition; tire pressure especially with dual rear wheels, brake check, windshield wiper blades (which were dragging) lighting, brake and turn signal and running lights. None of this had been checked, the agent, who was very cordial, replied, we don't do any of that, we just rent out the equipment. The truck was dirty, inside and out, cup holders were sticky steering wheel and dash were dirty as well as the windows and the outside of the truck. There apparently were no maintenance checks, as I found the right seat belt retractor did not work consistently and therefore was a safety hazard for any passenger. Consequently, I performed all the maintenance checks as I was familiar with larger trucks. Additionally, I had requested a heavy duty appliance hand truck dolly, instead it was a small hand truck dolly which could barely carry three standard medium size packing boxes. I cleaned the inside and power washed the outside of the truck upon turning it in to make it better for the next person. Thankfully the truck did ok for the trip.Thomas H.
My reservation was for 2 days. After informing the clerk that I would have it 3 extra hours over 2 days, he changed my bill to 3 periods...that was fine. But when I checked out at 2 days, and 4 hours, they charged me for 4 periods. And then rather than changing it to 3 days, they refunded only $20. I had been there half an hour while the clerk served a half dozen other customers buying beer and scratch-offs. So I took it and left.John W.

All of the U-Haul equipment is parked in the mud. It is very difficult to maneuver through the maze of unorganized parking. The trailer I rented was old, and not well maintained at all! I've rented from several U-Haul locations many times over the years. This was a very frustrating and disappointing experience.Cleve H.

Change the policy to rental must be full of fuel and vacuumed out prior to return. Trying to fill it to 6/8 or 7/8 is not an easy task and more than likely taking additional money out of your renters pocket.Daniel M.
We reserved a truck, pads, and appliance dolly. It was even confirmed that morning. When we showed up they had the truck but not the dolly and pads. This made our moving experience much harder. If we'd been advised they didn't have them before showing up, we would have requested a different location, but no longer had time to adjust.Katherine J.

The 6'x12' covered trailer was well-maintained and in good working order with one exceptionâ€"someone had failed to sweep out this unit because there was dried mud & dirt on the trailer floor. But management was very helpful and quickly got me signed up & on my way.Bill N.

This truck was very clean, easy to drive and very comfortable. We actually thought moving was going to be a nightmare but driving this truck was a breeze. Just wish it had a built ramp to make loading heavy items. Otherwise we had a pleasant move with such a reliable truck. staff were very helpful telling us how to reserve the truck.Mark S.

The 26' truck that I had reserved had no engine oil in it. When I started the truck, the oil light was illuminated on the dash. I then checked the dipstick and there was no oil on it. I went back to the rental counter and the woman told me to either drive it that way and call the "roadside assistance" number if it seizes, or take a truck half the size for about the same price. I didn't want to be liable for damage to the truck because it had no oil, so I took the smaller truck and ended up paying more because I had to make 2 trips. I've used a lot of uhaul trucks over the years being in the Navy, and it really seems like the quality of trucks has dropped significantly. The truck that had no oil in it had over 183 000 miles. The smaller truck I ended up with had over 111 000 miles and the steering was very loose and had some ball joint/tie rod issue that caused clunking to come through the steering wheel when turning. After this experience, Uhaul is no longer my go-to rental truck.jarrod P.
When we got to Bridge Liquors the truck was not ready for us. There was a trailer hooked up to it that I did not request or need. So my 72 y/o father (with a heart condition) and I had to disconnect it because the attendant did not know how how to do it, and we had to move it to a "designated spot" in the yard....more than 20 ft away from the truck just so we could get the truck out of the lot. Only a half tank of fuel in the truck, which I understand but still an annoyance for the experience with this location. AND after my original pickup location was changed the day before, which was more than 20 miles away from the requested location. Overall VERY disappointed with this rental location and experienceSamuel C.

When I reserved my truck I was given a location 5 miles from my house. When UHaul confirmed my reservation I was given a different location for pickup which was 12 miles away for a total of 24 miles round trip that was a cost to me. When I contacted UHaul they basically said â€œnot our problemâ€ and I had to pay the extra!!Richard S.

There was only one person working both the liquor store, and the u-hual. I waited in line for quite a long time to be served. Once getting my truck, I had to sit and wait for the liquor delivery trucks to finish and move. The shared parking lot is way too small to serve the store and U-haul.Cleve H.
Wipers were messed up and I it happened to rain. Was very hard to see out window. Transmission was slipping. Didn't need the extra stress of worrying about truck. Bridge liquors was the best. They were helpful, kind, they were the kind of place you need to go to when you are already stressed over the moving. I felt like I didn't have to do anything. First went i went to pick up the truck held for me it was not there so i had to go to another location to get a bigger truck That truck was awful to drive it bounced so bad between 30 and 40 mph When i returned it there was a fuel surcharge i was not told about i was only expecting to pay about 225 as i only had the truck about 24 hrs i had to drive an extra 40 miles out of my way to pick this truck upJERRY P.

Completely lied about the dimensions of the trailer and drove 5 hours to find out that out. Straight out asked if what i was hauling would fit and they assured me it would. Then when i asked if i could drop it off at a different location they said i couldn't even though in the contract it says i would be charged double which i was fine with so i could drop it off and rent a different trailer that works but instead had to drive 4 hours back to return it. And after explaining what happened they still told me I would be charged.brandon V.
