Trailer was very rusty, but was clean and did pull well. Suggest adding a decal on the left fender about it folding down to get the car door open. Only discovered that after I crawled out the window.

I booked a 6X12 trailer and was sent to 3 different locations the last switch was a hour before pickup and it did not have any of the equipment to buy to tow a trailer that the original U-Haul location did so I had to go buy it at another store. After attaching the trailer we realized that the right side lights were not working so we were not able to take and the only option was to down size and it did not fit all of our stuff. It was bad experience and I probably would rent through U-Haul again or recommend it to anyone else.

I have no problems with this location, my issue is with U-haul's business model. It's terribly user unfriendly! I had to speak with 6 different people, to get everything right, and heard way to many "I don't knows"....I would NEVER use U-haul ever again, and will recommend the same to my friends.

Joe took very good care of me. My usual 15' truck has not been available due to extensive repairs being done so he offered me a 20 foot truck at the 15 foot price and at the Sun-Thurs mileage rate since I am a very frequent customer. I'd like to see Uhaul introduce a customer loyalty program offering discounted rates, automatic upgrades to larger trucks (at no extra charge) if the regular truck isn't available, automatic discounts or free mileage if the customer has to go to another location to get their truck because it's not available at their normal pick-up location, etc. I've had to go to various other locations for truck rentals due to trucks not being available at my normal location and that's additional mileage that Uhaul should pay for, not the customer, for the inconvenience.

Service is always great at Cannon Self Storage. The truck is usually in good condition each time I rent it. Sometimes the cab is dirty but not so much that it’s disgusting to ride in it. Recommendation: Enhance/fix your computer system to keep my information and drivers license on file so I don’t have to upload it each time I rent the truck. That would expedite the check-in process. Sometimes it works, most of the time it doesn’t. With the frequency that I rent trucks, it’s frustrating to have to reload my information each time.

When I came to pick up the truck at 9 AM this morning Uhaul had their system down for maintenance which I thought was odd considering this is peak business hours. The location was unable to access the system for my reservation and check me in. After a half hour of fooling with the computer, Matt re-created my reservation for an online pick up and I was able to check the truck out in that manner. I rent the truck on a very frequent basis and I like to get in and out quickly. I typically go to the counter because it’s much faster than using the online service. Now that you have my license and a credit card on file, I would like to see the online service modified to where all I would have to provide for identification is a headshot photo. Simplify the process, reduce the amount of steps to check-in/checkout a truck out and I will gladly return to using the online service, otherwise, please do your computer maintenance at some other time besides Peak morning hours.

The man receiving my trailer made me move the trailer to the location for storage. He then told me to asASSIST in the removal of the trailer from my vehicle. I complained that I am 67 years old and told him I would complain. He told me he didn't care if I complained to uhaul as they were not a U haul center. I l then called Uhaul there should be a record of this call. He told me that he was not going to strain his back and no other help was available at 1pm in the afternoon. I had to help him in order to leave the lot.

They young guy was very rude he took the dolly in store we had a small disagreement so the young guy goes in store locks door nd turned the sign around saying he will back after lunch told me to take down the street to another location which i did and the lady was very welcoming but she couldn't accept the truck without the dolly that this location took so i had to come back to this location and when i got there he had already processed the truck in. His hospitality was very rude h3 needs more training on his customer service.

Some maintenance needed. Key gets stuck in the ignition and won't release when turned off. I was able to get it loose but needs attention. Cab hasn't been thoroughly cleaned in awhile. Melted chocolate on the side of the passenger seat, drink spills on the console. Needs a good "once over".

Uhaul and especially this location wanted me to take trailer 16 miles further to drop off due to location being at “capacity” despite plenty of room in the parking lot. What happened to uhaul neighborhood convenience? Clerk called uhaul traffic and changed to this location. Saved me 1.5 hours of hassle.

It would be nice to have a truck delivered from a Hub location to the Cannon Self Storage on Hwy 58, when they don’t have what I need on-site, rather than me having to drive 7-12 miles out of my way to another location and get charged for all that unnecessary mileage. I typically schedule well in advance and sometimes have no other choice but to reserve a larger than needed truck just so I have the convenience of the Cannon Self Storage location. It’s a very convenient location for my business.

Our truck and the trailer both had male plugs. The gentleman told us they were supposed to have gotten adapters but never did. We had to buy wiring harnesses from auto stores to make our own. Otherwise the experience was very good and the gentleman was professional and helpful.

The places you let rent out your trucks need to be screened. We called several places put two on hold only to get there and find out the place was only open by appointments only. The second place told us to come on they had one she would hold it for us, got there and she said someone just rented it, after giving them all our information. We finally got one through Knoxville and it was the one on Hwy 58. We got there the guy was very nice. We had the truck rented until 11 something the next day, but instead when we were finished we just took it by there and left it parked I was going to drop the key off the next morning on my way to work since I work down the street from the rental place they open at 9 and I have to be at work at 9. I had not downloaded the U-haul web page and that is why we didn't leave the key. At 8:45 on my way there I got this voicemail from the employee that I didn't leave the key and he was continuing to charging me until I got the key back. I stopped by there and went to the door he screamed I'm not open who are you, I told him and he said put it in the box I'm not open yet. I said I don't have the web site downloaded that's why I didn't leave the key he yelled again and said I don't care put it in the box. I haven't received the final bill from the jerk so I hope he didn't rip me off ill find out when I get my credit card bill I guess.

We were not impressed with this location due to not having specific products that we needed when we arrived. Also we were given a trailer that had a hole in the top of it and we were not notified of that prior to renting the trailer. We were moving some items in the rain and all of our stuff was wet. When returning the trailer the guy working said oh yeah it says here they was a hole on this trailer and we were not told that. I have always been impressed with U-Haul but this experience was not great.

The truck was clean, however, needs some maintenance. Truck makes unusual noise, particularly when going downhill. Sounds like metal rubbing against metal. Possibly the brakes? Driver's side visor is broken.

So we had to go with a smaller trailer and lost some of our stuff because we didn't have room to take it!!! However, they never communicated that. They changed the location of the drop off without telling us too! Not a great experience!

I picked my truck up after hours. There was no lighting in the parking lot which made it very difficult to take the required pictures and examine the truck for damage. The appliance dolly that I requested was not in the truck. I also ordered a dozen blankets, charged for a dozen, and only received 6.

The truck was in good shape this time. The interior of the cab was cleaned and the back swept out. There was still a lingering smell of cigarette smoke in the cab but overall it was clean.

The cab was dirty and reeked of cigarette smoke. Cigarette ashes were all over the dash and cup holders. The back hadn’t been swept out. Definitely not up to Uhaul standards. Though this isn’t a corporate location, it would be nice if the trucks were cleaned on at least a weekly basis. I use the truck on a very frequent basis and would prefer to have that is “smoke free”.

The interior of the cab was somewhat dirty and foul smelling...like bad body odor. The windshield was dirty on the inside. Overall not in bad shape but would be nice if the can was wiped down after each use.

We realized halfway through oir move that the truck cargo area leaks water. Thankfully nothing was badly damaged, but was just another headache to deal with when moving 1000 miles away.

Attendant was not very personable. Previously when I tried to drop a 6 x 12 trailer, they wouldn’t back it into their parking space and were nasty about it. I had to go elsewhere and drop.

In the past I have always rented U-Haul for my moving needs. Also in the past when arriving to pick up my rental the clerk at the location would come out and do a walk around with the customer. The gentleman that helped me was a horrible customer service interaction. I could tell he did not want to be at work and probably hates his job. I reserved a 20’ truck and was attempting to upgrade to a 26’. I started asking questions and the gentleman made me feel like I was being an inconvenience and stated that the mileage would be .99/ a mile. The rate I saw on the U-Haul website for a 20’ and 26’ was $39.95 for the truck and .79/ a mile. I explained this to the gentleman working and he stated for a 26’ truck he has always entered it in manually. I don’t feel it is very professional for an employee to overprice on mileage especially when it is advertised as less. Moving is a stressful time and most people try to stick to a budget. I worked for Two Men and a Truck for over a year and know customer service professionalism is a must. Maybe a district manager should visit this location and reevaluate the employees.

There was broken ceramics in my truck when I picked it up. Also I did not get the dolly I paid for but could not contact someone to ensure it was removed from my bill. Lastly the return of the truck process would not work. It would not go past the part to verify my location so that I could continue with the other steps. I finally gave up and just turned the keys in.
