Drop the stupid app. The attendant left my wife and I standing in the rain for 30 minutes fighting with the app and on hold with the uhaul 800 number. He refused to offer any help or allow us into the building. I have used uhaul for countless moves over 30+ years, but this is the last time. I would willingly pay much more to avoid using your app and lack of service.
The truck reeked of cigarettes and couldn't get the smell out for the days that I had it rented. Nothing worse than breathing in secondhand smoke. Secondly, the windshield wipers are old and dried out and do not keep the windshield clear when raining. It rained the two days I had the truck rented and was difficult to see the road clearly. I reported this before on this particular truck The last time I rented it and the issue is still not taken care of. Very disappointing.
All of the people that we dealt with were very helpful and very professional. Because of the covered virus and the fact that some of this had to be done online I would be hesitant to recommend do you haul to anyone.. The agent that assisted us with the online and phone part of the process Was very patient during the one and a half hour process. None of the delays were her fault The problem is in the system. Her patience with the system and with us went beyond extraordinary. Except for her I would have cancelled and gone to another provider. I know that some calls are recorded for training.....I hope this was one of those calls.Feel free to call me. feel free to call me concerning this
ratchet straps on trailer needed oiling and better upkeep
The location is great...your mobile app is not. Each time I use it, it crashes and loses connection and the 5 minute wait time for verification is too long. If you are trying to eliminate the wait time, improve the speed and functionality of your systems and the app. Often times, it's quicker to go inside the store where that's permitted during COVID.
Be able to talk to a person face to face instead of over the phone. Also please understand not everyone has a smartphone and many that do do not know how to use them.
Well, I used the truck share/ online feature and when I finished doing everything for check-in and check-out, it felt like U-Haul owed me a paycheck. It probably gets easier if you do it more often, but I was miserable.
The experience was excellent. This was my first time using UHaul and I will definitely be using your trucks in the future. The associate at Cannon Storage was especially helpful and kind. Very much appreciated!
The truck was clean when I dropped it off and I also filled it back up to half tank before dropping off at this location and I was charged for cleaning and fuel? Will not recommend this location to anyone!!! Rip off.
They were super friendly and helped us in every way they could! I am very pleased with our uhaul rental as I always am!
Everything was great.
Trailer was very rusty, but was clean and did pull well. Suggest adding a decal on the left fender about it folding down to get the car door open. Only discovered that after I crawled out the window.
It felt dirty and a little unsafe.
The lights worked when we picked it up but then didn't work after that.
I booked a 6X12 trailer and was sent to 3 different locations the last switch was a hour before pickup and it did not have any of the equipment to buy to tow a trailer that the original U-Haul location did so I had to go buy it at another store. After attaching the trailer we realized that the right side lights were not working so we were not able to take and the only option was to down size and it did not fit all of our stuff. It was bad experience and I probably would rent through U-Haul again or recommend it to anyone else.
Truck I rented was a new one they have on the lot and it functioned very well.
I have no problems with this location, my issue is with U-haul's business model. It's terribly user unfriendly! I had to speak with 6 different people, to get everything right, and heard way to many "I don't knows"....I would NEVER use U-haul ever again, and will recommend the same to my friends.
Joe took very good care of me. My usual 15' truck has not been available due to extensive repairs being done so he offered me a 20 foot truck at the 15 foot price and at the Sun-Thurs mileage rate since I am a very frequent customer. I'd like to see Uhaul introduce a customer loyalty program offering discounted rates, automatic upgrades to larger trucks (at no extra charge) if the regular truck isn't available, automatic discounts or free mileage if the customer has to go to another location to get their truck because it's not available at their normal pick-up location, etc. I've had to go to various other locations for truck rentals due to trucks not being available at my normal location and that's additional mileage that Uhaul should pay for, not the customer, for the inconvenience.

Service is always great at Cannon Self Storage. The truck is usually in good condition each time I rent it. Sometimes the cab is dirty but not so much that it's disgusting to ride in it. Recommendation: Enhance/fix your computer system to keep my information and drivers license on file so I don't have to upload it each time I rent the truck. That would expedite the check-in process. Sometimes it works, most of the time it doesn't. With the frequency that I rent trucks, it's frustrating to have to reload my information each time.
