The interior of the cab was somewhat dirty and foul smelling...like bad body odor. The windshield was dirty on the inside. Overall not in bad shape but would be nice if the can was wiped down after each use.

We realized halfway through oir move that the truck cargo area leaks water. Thankfully nothing was badly damaged, but was just another headache to deal with when moving 1000 miles away.

Attendant was not very personable. Previously when I tried to drop a 6 x 12 trailer, they wouldn’t back it into their parking space and were nasty about it. I had to go elsewhere and drop.

In the past I have always rented U-Haul for my moving needs. Also in the past when arriving to pick up my rental the clerk at the location would come out and do a walk around with the customer. The gentleman that helped me was a horrible customer service interaction. I could tell he did not want to be at work and probably hates his job. I reserved a 20’ truck and was attempting to upgrade to a 26’. I started asking questions and the gentleman made me feel like I was being an inconvenience and stated that the mileage would be .99/ a mile. The rate I saw on the U-Haul website for a 20’ and 26’ was $39.95 for the truck and .79/ a mile. I explained this to the gentleman working and he stated for a 26’ truck he has always entered it in manually. I don’t feel it is very professional for an employee to overprice on mileage especially when it is advertised as less. Moving is a stressful time and most people try to stick to a budget. I worked for Two Men and a Truck for over a year and know customer service professionalism is a must. Maybe a district manager should visit this location and reevaluate the employees.

There was broken ceramics in my truck when I picked it up. Also I did not get the dolly I paid for but could not contact someone to ensure it was removed from my bill. Lastly the return of the truck process would not work. It would not go past the part to verify my location so that I could continue with the other steps. I finally gave up and just turned the keys in.

The back of the truck wasn’t swept out from the previous user. It would be nice if the cabs were cleaned at least on a weekly basis.

The online app has become more difficult to use. I picked up my truck after hours and the app wouldn’t allow me to get past the Terms and Conditions documents to finish checking out the truck. Fortunately I knew the code to the word lock so I was able to take the truck, however, in the system it did not show that I had checked It out. Matt discovered that the next morning, called me and updated the system.

The trailer I rented wasn’t connected correctly, it came loose and hit my car. I trusted the guy a Uhaul to connect it properly. Very disappointed and wouldn’t come back. Guy at Uhaul couldn’t help me, now I have a big dent in the back of my car.

The biggest challenge is the availability of trucks. Over the past month there obviously has been a lot of moving as trucks haven't been as readily available.

15 foot trucks have been difficult to reserve lately. I don't mind travelling to another location that is close to Cannon Self Storage on Hwy 58, however, to have to travel more than 7-10 miles to pick-up a truck with no offer of a discount for that 14-20 mile round trip is not a good practice. I utilize trucks from the Cannon Self Storage location on a very frequent basis and while I do understand the occasional unavailability, it should be the exception and not the rule, especially when it's been confirmed. If a reservation is confirmed online for a specific truck & location, then U-haul needs to make sure THAT truck is at THAT location for the customer and not reroute them to various other sites to pick one up.

Improvement is needed for the online check-in process. The keys are now being placed in a lock box on the truck. This change to the Express check-in has added additional time to the process and is no longer convenient. I spent 40 mins with the agent in the office attempting to check-in. Ultimately, he called for the codes to remove the lock box and had to rebook my reservation so I could be on my way. I understand Uhaul is doing this for security purposes but you need to figure out another way to secure the keys. This is extremely inconvenient and is not cutting time in half as you like to advertise for the Express Check-in...it's adding to the time. Why not have electronic locks placed on the driver's door that open automatically once the reservation is verified and checked-in? As for one who uses the trucks on a regular basis, why isn't my information, picture and license stored on my account file so when I send a picture of myself and drivers license for verification, your system automatically recognizes me?? Too much time is wasted waiting on someone to verify who I am each and every time I rent. It ends up being MUCH faster to go inside. They know who I am and can have me on my way in less than 2 minutes.
