SAM ROwners did not explain the return process causing confusion and an extra trip to town which is 20 minutes one way. Nothing about the app was mentioned. Pre trip process was rushed.

REX KMy daughter recently rented a UHAUL from this business in New Castle for her move. The owner/operator of UHaul(slash pawn shop) business turned out to be the one of the rudest most unprofessional business owners we/I have ever met. A couple of weeks after move I noticed there were two different charges on my credit card bill for the service. I was in New Castle so stopped by pawn shop/uhaul to have charges explained. Nothing was resolved as he was rude, condescending and so unhelpful; I left in frustration as I could not put up with his patronizing personality another minute. Approx two weeks later, my other daughter made a three-way call (her, owner, myself) to try again to have the two charges explained. The owner, Ric, loudly (and seemingly gleefully) told us that the van had been "returned three days late, without gas and minus six cloths when it went out with twelve!" (referring evidently to furniture cloths sent with truck) We tried to tell him none of that was true (I followed my brother to take van back, we stopped at flying J that very evening of rental to fill). He talked over us, loudly, repeatedly saying was "very true" and sounded as if laughing and/or really enjoying his confrontation. He then hung up on us, entire question/matter unresolved. I immediately called corporate uhaul number to file complaint. I was treated respectfully while customer service took all down, asked questions, informed me that none of what owner said was true…could see had been "returned on time, with gas and all cloths." Ultimately reimbursed $60,01 to cc bill. My daughter who actually used the van to move called the owner to ask again about charge-he informed her that her sister and I had called- "called me everything but a nice person" when, in fact, we had called him nothing at all. Mostly our jaws were dropping over his lies and rudeness. Would give this business a zero star if available. U haul manager is to follow up with me.

MAUREEN CArrived when I was supposed to, followed the online directions, & was at the location for over an hour waiting to get my key so I could take my truck and get busy loading it !! The whole online, do yourself reservation was a joke ! Had to call the uhaul number twice & the first customer service rep was a real ..... & wasnt helpful at all ! The 2nd service customer rep was great & she was the one that finally got things fixed & we were able to get our key, our truck & get on our way.

Jill PUpon reservation I requested NO insurance coverage. At the time of pick-up, my order was followed except for the insurance coverage. I feel this was snuck in when the customer is in a hurry to get the vehicle, and is a very slick and slimy way to sneak in a extra 15.00. Then the u-haul dealer in question gets your signature to make it look like you agreed to it. The receipt on your phone is to small to read to catch at the moment until further review on your computer. I feel this is a shady business practice at this dealership, and I would advise people renting from here to watch out for this. I put not applicable on the question, was the equipment clean and well maintained because it was clean, but very hard shiffting not a mechanical sound truck.

Doyle PI rented the truck on Friday for 48 hours return it on Saturday less than 24 hours and it was a struggle to get my one day refund. I did get it but I felt like the service was very rude and difficult and I don't think it should've been difficult. Was treated very disrespectful. Very dissapointed
CONNIE MI was in a bind and a time crunch and for less money than I expected I was able to relocate my property. With a phone call and card on file I was able to reserve my uhaul truck and spend what time I still had to focus on other things. The truck itself was modern, clean, labeled instruments and driver controls and safety information all well done and easy to interpret. Entire process was simple and stress free which was very much appreciated.

MONICA WCheck over the vehicle to see if cleaned. Cleaned the vehicle just like it was when I got it(if not better) and was still charged a cleaning fee
TY AMake sure to check the trailers for any electrical issues when they are returned. When we went to pick up a trailer there were electrical issues with the lights. They tried to say it was our vehicle with the issue. It wasn't. It was the trailer. So we spent almost 45 minutes trying to resolve the issue only to be given another trailer. And then the paperwork had to be redone. The staff was very friendly.
MICHAEL RDropped off the equipment afterhours. I used the barcode on the outside of the building to close the drop off transaction.
BRIAN SWe had so much trouble the first time we tried to rent a trailer at another location. They said we had the wrong ball but the website states 1 7/8 to 2 inch. We had a 17/8 and they guy said it wouldn't work, so we left the trailer. This Uhaul was wonderful! They went above and beyond and worked around us! I will use this location if we ever need another trailer!
