Kenneth AI rented the truck for 10 hrs it was to be back at 9:00 pm . I did bring the truck back but it was about and 15 minutes late dropped the keys in the truck and left next day I got an alert from my bank that u haul took out an additional $49 said the truck was never returned. I spoke with u haul about the situation they have still not got back with me in 4 days or refunded my money. Don't they have trackers on there trucks? Or at least video of there trucks to locate them?

Stephanie HThe people in the store could not speak English. They had to call somebody on a cell phone that I was talking to to get the reservation completed. Trailer had lights out on it. Paint peeling off of it a hole in the front overall just a bad experience at this location.

Shana IThey didn't go over the exact mileage with me when I got there to rent the truck. The fuel gauge said 111 miles til empty. I put gas in it before I returned it and put over that amount. The girl gauge said 120 miles til empty. But they still charged me $15 for a fuel charge. I'm not happy with that at all. They need to explain things a little more clearer at this store. I would recommend this store to others If it wasn't for the $15 fee they charged.

andrea bThe van was filthy inside, the passenger side of the van looked as though someone ran into something. In addition we had this experience: My husband went in to rent a cargo van on Monday night 3/27. The gentleman that helped him rent the van (who claims to be a "friend") took my hubby's phone to secure the rental through the U-Haul website. The man entered all the information, and my husband wanted to include the $10 rental insurance. The only paperwork given to him was very small type and hard to read. Trusting his "friend" included everything he requested, he left the establishment and was told I could pick up the van in the morning. The man I picked the van up from the next morning was not friendly at all. I used the van to transport insulation from Akron to Norwalk, Ohio. When I arrived at my destination, I found the rear driver-side back door window was shattered. I was shocked because I hadn't hit anything and was carrying soft insulation. My husband called "his friend" to inform him of the damage. He said no problem, and we could work it out when I returned. When I returned, the same disgruntled man that had released the van to me was working the counter. When I showed him pictures of the damage, he started to yell at me. I reminded him that my husband had already called to let them know of the damage. I reassured him that we would pay any deductible for the insurance even though I thought it odd that insulation would cause the damage. I acknowledged it wasn't broken when I received possession of the van. My husband went down later that night and spoke with his "friend" Bobbi, who conveyed to my husband that he would get everything taken care of for him the next morning. Assuming that we would owe an additional $150 for the insurance deductible, we thought everything would be taken care of. Now I am looking over my bank statements, and not only did they NOT charge only $150 extra for the deductible, but we also have two charges on our account; $519,88 and $409,33! Looking through the emails, I see that the "friend" Bobbi didn't include insurance and didn't have my hubby sign acknowledging that he didn't get it, instead allowing him to think he had the insurance. This is a very shady business practice. I have photos that no aknowledgement of declined insurance was signed.

Richard BIt was confusing as the website told me to locate my vehicle before going inside to get the key from the cashier even though it should've been the other way around. It was confusing and with the workers speaking to the u-haul rep in another language to get me the vehicle, I got more confused.
Jewelie MThe pick up location was inside a very sketchy convenient store where the workers barely spoke English. I said I was there to pick up a uhaul and they handed me a personal cell phone to speak to someone about it. A man left walking down the street to get the uhaul. Very weird and I will never use this location again.
Dakota KThought I was going to be able to handle the pick up with the location at the check out counter. Instead had to wait for someone on the phone to assist me. Going over the same information that I had already given on the website. Truck was in good condition but not as clean as I had expected. Will most likely use a U haul facility next time.
Ronald PThere was only one representative and unfortunately she moved very slowly. The truck that was rented was decent inside the driver cargo area however none of the electrical ports worked. This was not disclosed. As a women I was terrified to find this out in the dark evening of my rental as I was lost with no phone because none of the ports worked with the car charger port. I was not told this was an issue when I was given the truck. The back of the truck was very dirty and dusky. My items were basically ruined when I made it to the location for drop off. The truck had terrible acceleration and when I took the foot of ls the gas it jerked and stalled as if it was going to break down. This was the worse experience with uhaul ever! I purchased more gas than needed so I could be fond h after getting lost due to no power, I left the gas below a little and was charged $13 on top of the gas I purchased. Very disappointed it the whole experience.
BESSETTE BThis location SHOULD NOT be allowed to offer U-Haul's anymore. The people there were completely awful & had NO IDEA what they were doing. Nobody there could help me, so they made me talk to their son on their cell phones while he wasn't even there. Then, I was told that someone there would be able to secure my car onto the trailer for me. THEY REFUSED TO DO THAT!! They said they could not help secure my car on the trailer because "they couldn't add it to the contract". So, I had to secure my car on the trailer myself & I have never done that before. I didn't know what I was doing. I drove 30 miles down the road & noticed I didn't secure it properly. Luckily, my car didn't fall off the trailer. If it did, I would've been taking action against them for them refusing to help when I was told somewhere there would. I had to call the number for help through U-Haul & luckily a local tow truck driver came to where I was & secured my car for me. The whole situation at that location was completely awful & unacceptable. Not to mention, the entire time we were outside talking & hooking up the trailer, the man wouldn't stop spitting on the ground. THIS LOCATION IS THE WORST I'VE EVER BEEN TO & I RECEIVED THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE THAT I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. This location should NOT be a representative of your company anymore!!!!

David LI never got a final bid. My truck was for 830 pickup and didn't get it till almost 900. 2130 s Arlington is 100 times easier to rent from.
STEVEN SThis location was chosen for me; where in fact there were actual UHAUL facilities near my final location, which I put into my rental request. The drop off location was quite a distance from my final location. Other than that it was a very simple system to drop off the trailer (though there was no one at the location to provide help if needed).

REGINA WThe trailer itself was not a problem. It did everything that I needed it to once I figured out how to secure the trailer properly. When I arrived at the pick up location nobody was there. I did the check in online to verify my identity and took the trailer due to time constraints. I returned the trailer early and ask the people operating the location if I needed to do anything else and they told me no. I later received a phone call from U-Haul telling me that they were trying to confirm if I ever even got the trailer because nothing had ever been entered in. My pick up was never fully registered and my drop off was not registered either. As much as I would love a free trailer rental I am very glad they called to confirm.
Robert SThe person responsible was not on site. The owner of the convenient store had to call the rental agent/person. The rental agent/person finally arrived. The vehicle was not clean. The owner of the convenient store swept the back of the vehicle with a broom. A person with me can verify that the vehicle was not sanitized. The vehicle had 1/4 tank of gas and the "change oil" light was on. The vehicle smelled of cigarettes and dog. *My son, who rode with me, is now sick (testing for COVID) and I too am not feeling well.

Woman who made first contact barely spoke English and when I asked about my reservation she called a man on the phone then 3 way called customer service.... Trailer was in poor safety condition both safety chains and the break away chain had links ground down dangerously thin due to dragging. Someone in the past must have used a wrench on hitch ball locking knob... It was all jagged and chewed up it cut my fingers I'll never rent from that particular location again
MICHAEL CHorrible customer service the guy was watching sports instead of assisting me. He kept switching between watching a soccer game and getting my rental. Just rude and disrespectful. When I told him I was charged $100. He told me that I would have to contact U-Haul and get a refund. I need a full refund for what horrible service that was provider today. The van did not have air conditioning and the windows would not let down. The vehicle needing a wheel alignment or new breaks
DA MI returned the TRAILER at 7:30 AM on 07 April 2021. It was due back at 9:00 AM on 07 April 2021 This UHaul place charged me for an EXTRA DAY!!!!! FOR WHAT?? I have picture of me returning it BECAUSE THEY WERE NOT OPEN when their store hours show 6 AM opening time. I have a witness that went along with me and photos of the STORE CLOSE + MY PAPERWORK GOING INTO THEIR UHAUL DROP BOX AT 7:30 AM with Time & Date Noted!!!! I have photos with DATE TIME STAMP showing the store was CLOSED. TOTAL BULLSHIT on their part!!!!

EDWARD Wneeded a 1 day rental returned the vehicle within 12hours. and was charged for 2 days. Rep asked how many miles and for how long. I guessed 40 miles and 6 hours.

Also I was led to believe that there would be nobody there and that I would have to do it via the app when intern I had a customer service person wait on me but had to wait an additional 45 minutes I was in a crunch time and my miles were added on to my original reservation
Bob MI paid for a dolly they gave me a crawler I think that's what it's called. I had no use for it. They tell me to call customer service. Why call when I'm at the location? .and to top it all off one of the headlights was out.

And I lost money because it wasn't able to haul the appliances I purchased. This was the first time I've ever had a problem with renting from you guys. However... It was costly.

Dwayne YThe agent we dealt with was kind, helpful and polite. However, the truck inside front was filthy. Bottles in back of truck. We were blamed for the mess and told pics are taken before and after each trip. The pics taken could not be located per employee. The ashtray was overflowing with cigarette butts and the truck had not been recently vacuumed. There were kids bottle or sippy cups left in the back of the truck. We were blamed for those. We don't have young kids. Our kids are 10 and 11 years old. We weren't complaining about the dirty truck until we were blamed for it. I will NEVER rent from U Haul again
joseph pThe truck was late when we picked it up. I didn't choose this location. I chose the location on Canton rd and uhaul changed the location and sent me an email. I also did the online checkin to cut down on time and this location had no record of it and had to do it all over again.

Tim MThe pickup location and staff was very good. However, both of the over-the-wheel ratchet straps on the trailer were broken and could not be used to secure the vehicle. Luckily I brought my own ratchet straps!

Robert GThe van we rented was dirty WHEN we received it. Then, he said we had to clean it or pay the $25 cleaning fee for a mess we did not make. He then said I'll have to call Uhaul to have it fixed, but when the customer service rep for Uhaul called him to confirm, he told them that the mess was made from us. He never told me to take any pictures or anything before pulling out of the lot. Lesson learned, only rent from actual Uhaul buildings and ALWAYS take pictures. Aside from the Uhaul experience, they had a German Shepard tied up the the back door where their kitchen is that they serve and sell food to people. Completely unacceptable.
Monica STruck was behind the building and not ready - had to wait almost 15 minutes for them to get it out to the parking lot (pick time was 4:00 and I got there at 4:20) and then I was double charged to my credit card.
