Have customer upload driver's license information before pick up.
David UWhen I got in the store he asked if he can see my phone to open the link he went into the confirmed the order. When I got back to pay he charged me for insurance that I didn't ask for telling me he saved me. This is my 2nd using uhaul in a month n been over charged due to the operators changing agreements I want to dispute this charge I didn't sign for it
Robyn RHave an option to do everything online before pickup. Makes it so much easier.
Dennis PI had a horrible experience here! They didn't have the equipment that I reserved and the clerk was not helpful at all. Once I was able to change my reservation over the phone and get a different truck the truck was covered in frozen snow. I asked the clerk for help he said "that's not our job" and handed me a broom. Never again am I coming here!!!
Pedro MReceived the truck with the gas tank on empty. We filled the truck up with $95 worth of gas. Had a full day of moving furniture from 2 homes in 2 different locations to a 3rd location. Used a little over a quarter of a tank of gas. Would not reimburse me for the extra gas that was left in the truck. Now I'm out a little over $60. Never received a call back from the location we rented from. Called customer service, they would not refund the difference either. Terrible way to conduct business. Will NEVER use Uhaul again. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. What a joke

Lawrence FTried to get truck with the app but could not. Sat on hold for 17 minutes then was transferred to be put on hold again. Used option for call back. Person called back and put me on hold and lost the connection. They never called me back. Had no dolly that was reserved. AC in truck would not blow and manager was not helpful or even seem to care. It was not a pleasant experience.
Darrell NThe truck had not been cleaned and contained clothing, pictures and garbage from the previous person who used it. The owner of the store where the trucks were located was not very helpful until we pushed him for more help because the online check in was not that easy to understand.

John RI'm not paying the extra fees, that is bullshit. I will pay the 21 dollars extra for the fuel, but I will NOT pay anything over that, as I did not ask for it, and was told I would not be charged. Feel free to reach out to me and we can discuss the $21 payment option. Merci.

LUZ CThe inside had coffee spills at the cup holder and all around, the check out was quick, easy and friendly. The truck was there on time and when requested. The truck did have 3/4 of a tank of gas and other than the spill all around the cup holder everything was fine.

Mauricio PThe pictures I was shown to check out the truck and approve or disapprove where Not well lit. Making it difficult if not impossible to detect Pre-existing damage. Also create existing damage should be noted before check out. My truck had pre-existing damage which I took pictures of on my own. Also I suggest Customers taking their own pictures on the turn I. . Besides that the truck ran well and everything functioned.

Stefanie RThe pick up/drop off using a phone was unnecessarily complicated. The system will throw an error that isn't valid and will continue to show an error even if you fix whatever issue it says there is. The website timed out multiple times during the process. Something that should have taken 10 minutes ended up taking more than 30 because of the issues with mobile pickup.

scott wIt took over 20 minutes for myself and another renter to get our keys out of the lock box that this location had set up. The word lock would not budge. We were on hold with Customer Service number for over 20 minutes and no one ever came on the line. After 30 minutes we were finally able to push the lock bar back to open the lock. The van was dirty and gross. The dashboard was dirty, grimy to where I had to put down towels before I put anything on it. Will never rent from this location again.
Tracy WInside of truck was very dirty and it smelled. There were cars parked all around when I came to pick up making it difficult to back out.

Denise SI reserved a hand truck prior to pick up and when arrived I was told there was no hand truck. The person that executed the transaction had no solution and didn't seem to care.

Rene CThe truck was filthy inside. We requested a furnature dolly, a 2 wheel dolly, and 40 furnature pads. There was no equipment provided that we had requested and still got charged for the equipment and charged for bringing the truck back dirty, when that was the condition it was picked up in. I took photos of the dirty inside and the empty box and submitted the photos to uhaul at pick up and even stated the epuipment was not there and I will not be paying for equipment that they did not provide us. I was still charged. I will never use this rental location again and instruct my family and feiends to go elsewhere. -Corner Liquor and Grocery, Fox Rd. Yorkville, IL
Charles MThe man called at 8pm the night before to tell me I would have to pick up my truck 3 hours later than scheduled when the business opened, despite having a mobile pickup reservation, and that none of my requested moving supplies would be there. I tried the mobile pickup anyway at my reserved time to stay on my planned moving schedule. I actually was able to get the truck, but didn't have moving supplies. This was my first time using U-haul, and it may be my last.

JAKOB BThe cab of the truck smelled like weed, there were empty mini alcohol bottles and trash behind the seats. The engine light came on no more than five minutes into our drive and the inside of the truck unit was dirty.
WYATT JWe had a lot of issues getting the truck on the day of pick up. No one was there that knew how to help with the U-Haul rental. We were told to do the mobile check in, but on the website it's called "24/7 Truck Share." So I checked in online earlier in the day, then at pick up I couldn't get the code for the truck keys lock box because I did the wrong kind of online check in. The website couldn't convert my check in, so I had to wait on hold with U-Haul customer service for 35 minutes. Everyone we talked to was nice but the process was not clear or fast. We lost an hour trying to get the code to key lock box.
Eric TThe contactless drop box for the key didn't open. The app wouldn't let me upload a mileage picture when picking up the truck or dropping it off. Purchase a dolly and when I opened the back of the truck guess what …….no dolly.
Brian MHe told me he would check me out later, though there was no one else in the store. I insisted that me rental was close to the return time and I needed to check out asap.
Olawale LOrdered truck 3 weeks in advance and got a call at 8 pm the night before the truck wasn't available. Had to drive round trip 44 miles to pick up and drop off. Not very well planned on their part. But luckily the location and the man I dealt with were awesome.
John FThe owner is great and easy to work with and the location is very convenient. However the mobile pick up process was very confusing (which was not his fault) and the customer service line was not at all helpful. That process needs to be made much more streamlined.

KAREN CMust sure rental is at location or give a discount if it's not.. Rental was kept 3 hours longer and new renter was not notify about. Should have been given a discount on rental. Had to wait 2 hours before I got rental truck. Plus place didn't open till 10am when truck was rental to be use at 8am

Dorothy TIt started to leak radiator fluid so a put on new clamp and added fluid so we could continue move,I notified uhaul and was told thanks return time was moved to 7pm for lost time with breakdown. When returning truck at 5pm paperwork did not show free extension do to mechanical issue.took 25 minutes or more time to explain to worker of the issue while on hold with uhaul whom never did answer and I hung up after 30 minute hold. Not ideal customer service
Dan NThe only problem was that I ordered a furniture dolly and received a utility dolly instead. I did not notice until I arrived at the house to move. I did not need a utility dolly as I already had one.
