The lady was extremely rude and it clearly was an inconvenience for her to help me. I was also charged the extra $10 for the safe guard or whatever it's called even though I selected no. She told me she couldn't take it off. Overall terrible experience.

Aaron YocumI was ripped off ... all I needed was a 4×6 open trailer for 30 min.. and it wasn't avaliable.. I was upgraded to a small truck and they told me my total with taxes was going to be $25 or less... the store where I had to get the keys at took for ever ... they were mad that they had to help.. and they said $44 but I would get some money back if I brought it back soon and if it was low miles... I put has in it.. and when I got back they said no money back .... I need to talk to customer service. Not happy at allllllllll

Shannon StegerIf you are going to rent via the mobile app, this isn't the place to rent from. The key was not in the lock box. I spent over 60 minutes with a manager that was not aware as to how to handle a key situation for someone that rented via the app. It was beyond frustrating, and the customer support line was no help. Their only answer was to come back the next day and work with another manager. Fortunately the manager of County Market got a hold of a UHaul representative in the area, and he directed her to just hand me the key. Better training is needed going forward.

I had to just leave the keys on counter because I was late for an appointment after waiting 30 minutes. Do not use this location. Go to sterling.

LuAnn FeulnerThe overall experience at this location was very good, but the one inconvenience was they had only a few moving pads available. I am still waiting on a credit from uhaul as I was charged for the full dozen pads. The return experience was excellent in that James offered to help unhook the trailer and made the process very easy!
Kevin MarxThere was a software problem in checking out the truck. Took almost 40 minutes. Agent had to make several calls to U-Haul. Not a good experience.
Willard StlukaThe staff was perfect, but the location is basically a grocery store that isn't setup for renting equipment. The safety checks and help attaching the equipment to the car was not available (not the staff's fault). Thankfully, I knew how to hookup and check the safety of the trailer but not everyone will know how to do it.
GARRET STARKEI asked Donna at County Market if I would get a credit to our account since I returned the Uhaul a day early and she said "it doesn't look like you owe anything" We we're supposed to pick the Uhaul from this location but we received a call from Patty at Uhaul saying we needed to pick it up in Rock Falls instead. I had to use gas driving from Rock Falls to Dixon! Again, will we get a credit for that??

Michael KeckThe vehicle was defective with a leaky roof from the very beginning of the loading process. This did not improve and, as a matter of fact, a 2nd leak occurred on the 3rd day of the experience. The credit that was offered barely compensates for the inconveniences caused.

JENNIFER PERKINSThey did keep asking us if we wanted to unhook the trailers and I felt bad saying no, you do it, even though I knew it was their job. I think you need a machine to lift the trailer off the hitches to keep older people from wrenching their backs.
AMY BAILEYNot a clear area where to drop off and pick up. Using the app is no problem for tech savvy, however there is barely any signage at this location. Keys for my truck where inside the store, however the app and no signage tells you to go inside the store.

CARL FULLERThis was the first time I have rented a vehicle. I made the registration from a local Overland Park location that had many trucks and a full office building. When I got to Dixon, Illinois, 40 miles out of my way, I did not realize this was not a full service location. I arrived 30 minutes before my scheduled pick up. There was no person at a U-Haul office and no sign to indicate what we should do. I saw the locks, and I thought I needed to enter a code on the lock to get the key to the truck. After going online, reading the instructions, I started the registration process. But then I kept going in circles on the website, there was no code. I had to make several phone calls, when I was finally told by a district representative to go inside the grocery store, and someone at the customer service desk would help me. Once I did that, things went smoothly. I suggested to the very nice man who helped me, he needs to put a sign outside to let people know they need to go inside the grocery store. This would have saved me MUCH frustration with the rental process. The man who helped me had problems with the tablet he was on, but we got through it. I feel sorry for people who don't like to do things over the phone. My husband would have been ballistic.
Cynthia BellFor some reason I received two charges $69,42 and $61,65 charge for a 2 hour rental. Is one of these a refundable rental fee? I'm not sure why I was charged two fees. Thank you for your help with this matter. Of course, this will impact my recommending U-haul to friends and family.
Denise HartsI rented a uhaul and did not have right size. By time i got a call it was past my appointment. I picked it up at 1 my orginal time was 9 the y would not let me bring it backat one without charging me an additional day. I did not get the 24 hours
