I was completely ignored by the staff. I finally had to shout to someone in the back to ask about dropping off my truck. Because UHaul messed things up in the beginning, they had my truck marked as a one way to be returned to the same location I picked it up from, which was over 18 hours away. Then I was charged $700 above the quoted price for the "wrong dropoff location." This is entirely unacceptable and unbelievable. UHaul messed things up the entire way through, from not reserving the truck I originally asked for 3 weeks early, and from saying "tough, go find another one, you're on your own", to charging me for the gas and a wrong drop off location. The truck orginally had less than an 1/8 of a tank of gas. I dropped it off with a 1/4 of a tank and was charged for more fuel. My experience with uHaul has been the worst I've ever had, and the worst part of our entire move.Stan R.

Booked for 8 am mobile pickup. Mobile pickup was not available and had to wait until after 9 to get the keys after they opened. Truck was dirty and almost out of gas. Tried calling the 800 number for Uhaul for help but was told the hold time was 58 minutes!Salvadore L.

No one came out to inspect the vehicle before I drove off and I was told to return the vehicle by 9:00 and no one was there to inspect the vehicle upon return. The cab was dirty and had animal hair in it. I was charged for blankets that I did not use and a dolly that was not in the truck.KATHLEEN W.
I was charged for an additional day when I had the truck less than 8 hours. I returned the keys in the facility and they didn't even acknowledge it in the system till the next day. Hours later the next day I was charged an additional $196. When I called the office to inquire Alex somehow got disconnect twice and although in my account never felt the need to call me back. I called back the second time and asked for a manager but claims he was the only person there and cannot do anything about the additional charge even though it's clear that the truck has been there since yesterday. Not once did he apologize for the company's error or take responsibility for any of the issue. Very unprofessional.KEITH S.

The locations were great and helpful. The â€œtrafficâ€ department that changed my reservation Attis last minute to a new location that didn't have any one way trucks available was ridiculous. Vehicle was great till about 2 hours in drive to destination; when gauge cluster started flashing and sounded. Break light sign flashing , sounding . Tow light flashing . I pulled over at best town available to check. All fluid levels seemed great. â€œ It must be a sensor going out â€œ, I thought. Breaks worked! Thank god. I made to to my destination about 3 hours away at night . Returned the vehicle a day earlier. MADE sure I talked to U Haul representatives and made them aware; that next person would NOT have to endure the mental anguish of not knowing if breaks worked or not. Please check equipment: more frequently; and have questions for returning rental people.DONALD S.

Actually be what is advertised. I signed up for this location because it was contactless and quick. However, I waited for about 45 minutes to actually get my truck because the keys were not in the location it was supposed to be in and I had to deal with an employee.alicia A.
The rental truck was clean and worked well for what I needed. However I was charged an additional $54 fee for dropping the vehicle off with less than 1/4th a tank of gas. The receipt denotes that I dropped the vehicle off with 1/8th a tank... I have pictures and receipts for me filling the tank up to past 1/4th a tank. Just another screw up by UHaul. Will never use you again and will tell everyone I know about your poor customer service people with attitudes. This is the third time in a row you have screwed me. Three strikes you are out. People use Budget , Penske, Professionals, Anyone!!!!!. This company is very poorly run!!! They reserve you a truck and when you go pick it up it is not there or it's broken or they can't find the keys or the building is closed or the tires have 4 nails in them. .Shall I go on? They think they can shut you up by giving you $50.credit but you never see it come through on your bill. Try dealing with that! Another headache Not enough for the total inconvenienceNANCY D S.

The transmission in the truck was horrible. The RPMs would go up to 4-5(thousand) while the truck only did 20-30 mph. The truck was so dangerous that I did not feel safe putting it on the interstate. It is actually a safety hazard. The owner wanted to be a stickler about the rental fees as well for a broke truck. Instead of being reasonable about a price of crap truck, they charged me with a fine comb for its usage. This truck was a complete safety issue due to the fact that it would not properly accelerate to move with the flow of traffic. I crossed the Danzinger bridge and it only went up to 39mph before the transmission would not allow it to hold its speed. It was very scary to be on an incline with a truck that slowed down and almost care to a stop while driving up incline with a very low load. I was scared that the truck would loose forward momemtum and roll backwards down the bridge. I did my best by choosing low/flat surfaces to make the journey. They are charging top/premium rates on a complete piece of shit rental.STEVEN S.
