Was charged an extra day for turning the truck in 11 minutes late. Issue was resolved with UHaul customer service. I was not aware that the truck had to be turned by a specific time, only on a specific day.

This was my very first uhaul experience The truck we received had less than a quarter Tank of gas, a personal lock on the back so we were unable to even open the back, and had to be returned. We never received a receipt, invoice, or contract for the replacement truck so when we went to drop off the second truck we got, we had no idea how much gas was supposed to be replaced or how many miles we were allotted. There was only one employee, who seemed to be VERY sick, working as fast as he could and I guess it makes sense he would forget to give us updated paperwork We received a smaller truck in the end and were still charged for the larger truck from the first reservation I guess the only thing I can recommend is to slow down and take care of your customers The whole experience is unbelievable in the worst way possible

UHaul truck rental process was great! However, the "Same Day Moving Help" service was a total let down. I will never use this service again. I reserved same day loading and unloading, & paid for the service only to be told by the moving co that they were booked and no one else was available. I am getting refunded for it but I have to wait 5-7 days to get my money back!! Horrible experience trying to use this service you advertise in your trucks. UHaul probably shouldn't be advertising "Same Day Moving Help" if it can not be honored after reserving and paying for it. This ties up people's money for over a week trying to get their money back. Not good for people on a budget!

The representative was a bit distracted when I arrived and there was no check in inspection, which made me a little uneasy. However, they were prompt to direct me where to drop my rental and I was on my way, easy peasy.

My main issue was with the Uhaul app. It would not load to do the mobile pickup. Was very frustrating. The Uhaul drive fine but smelled like cigarette smoke.

More associates to help review vehicle condition with and expedite pick-up. It was manageable. But only one person on-site so having multiple customers means only the office gets attention. Also, using the app isn't as useful since having no prior experience with it lengthens the process. I picked up on a lunch break with limited time. Curious what the experience would have been like at 5pm when my work day ends. Wondering if time-management, personnel availability and the experience would be any different?

Front desk person wasn't terribly helpful. They didn't show me which uhaul was mine, didn't give me any information other than my contract. Uhaul was clean inside and did not see any damage.

My only problem was that the left tail light was out. This light serves as brake and turn signal. I had expected all safety type items to be checked prior to putting a customer on the road.

The two people working were busy talking to other people and when the man asked me what I needed to do, he just took my keys and didn't ask me any questions about the truck or the items I was returning.

I guess I should have noted the mileage on the vehicle. Since door step to door step was only 475 miles. My final invoice was marked I drove 241 miles over the allowed 564. There is no way I drove 805 miles. Can't verify the mileage, just got screwed out of $241.

Hello, my name is Daisy Garcia I rented the pickup truck on July 30th. It took me a while to do this because I was very busy but I tried calling earlier this month about asking why I was charged extra after I had already paid everything it should have been. I was only renting the pickup truck for two hours and I only drove it to the storage units on Kitty Hawk Dr. to townhomes behind Smiths in Cedar City the drive was less than 20 miles. I got a call that a guy was waiting for the pickup truck and once I got there he immediately took off, then I was charged an additional $50 which I assume is extra miles from the next customer. This was also frustrating because I filled the tank higher than I even needed to before I got returned to the truck. Please get back to me thank you. 760-485-2726

U-Haul charged me 200 more then what it was supposed to be and I have only received 70 in a refund there is still 115 that they have not returned the location I went to are not the problem it's U-Haul it's self and a/c in truck was not working the truck in back was not clean

Cullens made up for all problems by calling me about 20 minutes after drop off to let me know that I forgot to fill the tank. They let me run down, take the truck out, and put $150 worth (my price) into the tank. Truck ran OK. It had 110K miles on it, and it felt like it. Very noisy. Very hard to close doors tightly (which could make the noise worse). Brakes felt like they were warped. Cab was clean ... sort of ... 2 brand new caps for "Burton Lumber" under the seat. Pick up after hours did not work well. Phone app got into a loop and would not make progress. Made 40 minute call to customer service. Got disconnected at the most critical time. Was on hold for a second time when the phone app allowed progress to be made. Perhaps the agent at 24/7 used the info I gave them and was able to reboot my order or something after the disconnect? All I know is that I didn't do anything different, and on about the 10th time it worked.

This location wouldn't accept my unused U-Haul boxes and was quite rude, talking to other customers and taking phone calls when I was there first. Horrible customer service. Your company policy of buying back boxes is a lie and I will be pursuing legal action soon. I had two large boxes , two medium boxes and one large mirror box. I will never recommend your company to anyone. The staff at the Palomar Street location in San Diego is only thing positive I encountered. You want to resolve this, credit my account for the cost of the boxes or I'll see you in court.

We had reserved a date for a Sunday to return on Monday. I went and signed the papers on Saturday and recieved the keys knowing they was not open on Sunday, and to leave the truck parked on site until Sunday. I assumed the date on the reservation/contract had reflected that... nope! I ended up paying for Saturday thru Monday. Not what my reservation online stated. Is this how you guys make money?

This was NOT a motorcycle trailer. It did not look like the motorcycle trailers on the U-hauls website. It was a beat up flat bed trailer that I managed to put my bike on. It did not have all the tie down placed that the motorcycle trailers do, and it did not have a real wheel chock, there was a v shaped part at the front that provided no support. The trailer was also real old, beat up, very load to tow.
