Customer service was horrendous, due to a complication I was not able to meet the drop off deadline. I called and explained this to the store representative was rude, I explained I will get it there ASAP, and gave a time that was 2 hours post deadline. During drop off I asked if I needed to sign anything and the store representative refused to answer, and just kept repeating “leave keys on counter”. Will never use this location again.

Unfortunately a horrible experience. The owner or manager has a major attitude towards customers. Never again, as much as we need to support small businesses you're much better off finding another location to rent from.

When someone RESERVES a vehicle in advance, do not make them go to THREE DIFFERENT LOCATIONS that DO NOT HAVE THE VEHICLE THEY RESERVED. This was incredibly frustrating and put us an hour and a half behind schedule all because your system is so ridiculously flawed. I will more than likely be using a different company for my next move.

Although the truck was clean the wheel alignment was off which made for a stressful long haul drive.

The attendant who helped me at the front desk was not very personable and left a very bad taste in mouth due to their poor customer service! This was compounded with the fact the I was giving their business a second chance even though myself as well as another member of my family had had bad experiences with booking a rucks only to arrive and find they had been triple booked.

Some phones have trouble with the online check-in, getting stuck in an endless loading / unrecognized location (confirmed to work on iPhone, not an android that was tested).

The pick up was quick and easy. We received the bill shortly after drop off. Overall seamless transaction, will recommend to friends and use in the future!

Call customers to let them know you will be closed the day of the pick up. We would have preferred to pick up our keys in person as opposed to the ride share. We had a difficult time opening the lock on the truck.

I contacted your customer service department because I was charged for two add'l days. I was only extended one day #1 and #2 I wasn't told I was being immediately charged or I would have provided a different tender. As a result, I was charged overdraft fees. This is a huge inconvenience for me because I am disabled and I receive only one check each month. I requested through Roy that the 40,80 $ be refunded to my credit card. In addition, I emailed their customer service dept and haven't heard back from neither. Deeply upset by all this and will never refer anyone to this location nor do I intend to use them when/if I move in the future. Sincerely, Leslie Calero

The only issue was the customer service. The owner (I assume it was the owner) may have been having a bad day, but he was rude and abrasive. Also, when i arrived to get the truck, it wasn't ready. When he pulled it out of the employee lot, he parked it on the side street instead of the parking lot across from the business. Do I had to drive to the truck and get the key code, then drive back to the customer entrance, go inside, and show him the app in order to get the key. Good customer service would have been to pull the truck to the lot where I would have picked up OR stand on the side street in order to see the app.

Absolutely the nastiest individual ever to deal with a customer. The unit we reserved was not available so had to substitute. That was annoying but nothing compared to the disrespectful attitude of the employee handling the pickup DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION

I called the day before and indicated I could be an hour or two late. I was told - It would have been another full day's charge. When I arrived an hour early, there was no off street parking or in front, so I parked on the side street. I walked inside, said I have a trailer to return, the man behind the counter was annoyed with where I parked, and I felt like I was bothering him. Never asked for my name or for contract. I will not use this location again for any rental needs. I'll go miles out of my way to rent or return. I was not sure if the trailer was actually "checked in" so I took a picture of the parked, returned trailer. Very disappointing with the customer service.

Man who I spoke to while picking up the truck was overall very rude. When I asked him to wear a mask while we were picking up our keys he said it was “his right to choose if wanted to wear one or not” despite the state mandated mask policy posted directly on his own door. I would rather drive further to an actual u-haul location to not have to deal with that rude man again.

I was not very happy with the condition of this trailer, this trailer needs to be retired & leaks very badly when raining. I was not very happy that the cost of one way was more than double the cost of the local use option. trying to find a trailer on your website was difficult and having to go to Delaware to pickup this trailer was not very convent. Won't do this again

First of all, the truck/equipment was fine. The assumed owner was the most rude person I have ever experenced as a customer. No "please" or "thank you"....very gruff. Then when he discovered I had not parked where he thought I should, he belittled me and told me I had no common sense. I knew I would have to move the car and didn't want to use up his one parking space in front of his store. I was trying to be considerate and he blasted me. When I started to defend myself, he stated "Do you want to rent the truck or not?" What a piece of work! DO NOT GO THERE unless you want to be verbally abused. No other truck was available close by, so I had to rent it. But I wish I could have told him where to put that truck... I will be talking to Uhaul. They don't need people like this representing them.

I used the remote access service which for the most part was very straightforward, but I had terrible service at this location which made it incredibly difficult and slow to use. Some kind of public wifi access at this location could've been very helpful and could've saved about 45 min of my time

Honestly, I don't know how this is a location. The streets are as small as the width of the damn dolly. And have the nerve for this location to be on a corner. Legally you can't drop it off outside because the sign says no parking but you have to because you can't park anywhere else. This location is great for renting pickup truck sizes and maybe the smallest truck up from that. Anything else will be a rodeo trying to get it in there. Epic fail!!!!

The trailer wasn't even close to the image of a trailer that was presented. The picture showed a 5' ramp but the reality is it was an 18 inch ramp which wasn't conducive to loading what I needed to haul.

Very good experience, especially since it was a last-minute rental when the original location couldn't rent to me. Owner clearly cares about his equipment and had me checked out and checked back in faster than any place I've ever been.

Guy at the counter was not friendly at all. When I picked up the trailer the turn signals did not work. He did fix them but it delayed our travel by 45 minutes. He never apologized for our inconvenience!

Place was closed on Sunday. Dropped truck off at an empty space in front of the building, and left key in dropbox. Seemed to be fine. The lot was fenced off, so if the spot in front wasn't open, it might have been problematic. But as it was, it went smoothly.

I think this location is good. I never use any of the other ones locally if I can help it; they are not as well run. Delaware Equipment Rental has clear communication and will try to make things right if anything holds up a rental.

My contract called for a 6/25 return. The unit was returned on 6/24 and checked in on the 25th. When I called to verify, I was told all was on. I was then charged for 3 additional days, when my contract included them. When I called, I was told there was nothing they could do. I was informed to call the 800 number to correct. If this is a system issue, it needs to be fixed. I was credited by the UHual rep. The rep at the drop off location should've been able to rectify this if they bothered to look at my contract, which they sadly seemed to want no part of.

Tom, the man who conducted my pickup process, was incredibly rude. He was personally insulting, uncommunicative, and unpleasant. On top of that, they did not have all of the equipment I reserved and were unhelpful when I asked if they knew of anywhere else I could rent it.

The guy here was an absolute ASS, very rude as soon as we walked in, didn't want to talk to us and was short with us the entire time we were there. He charged us for the difference in gas, but it was the same as when we picked it up! A sliver under a quarter, just the pickup location marked it as a quarter and he marked it as 1/8th. Truly horrible!
