The Uhaul was not weather resistant. All of my belongings were soaked after a thunder storm and when I told the location, they smiled and told me to have a good day. I'll honestly never use Uhaul again after this.Meghan S.

Location does not allow too many trucks, so had to settle for smaller truck but not much you can do with limited gas station location. The staff was friendly and the cost lower than other places. Merci.Alireza K.

Not the fault of the dealer/location, but the U-Haul I was supposed to get was not there when I arrived, and when we talked to corporate to figure out why there was no truck for which I had a confirmation, the customer service guy was utterly useless. Spent about 45 minutes on the phone with him, and the "best he could do" was find me a truck the nest day over 1,5 hours from my location, and make no effort to provide any credits or additional compensation for the issues, which would have included needing to reschedule my moving dates and with the movers. Absolute clown fuckery and a completely useless rep. Thankfully, a woman showed up about 15 minutes after we hung up with him, returning a 10' truck that the dealer was able to quickly turn around and rent back out to me. But this was almost a disaster and your customer service rep was atrocious.Jeffrey G.

The blankets we ordered and the furniture dolly we ordered were not available at this location. They did not have them. They said there had not been any UHaul communication with them. I am not sure how this is supposed to work, if we book through UHaull, but UHaul does not communicate with their partners.Sarah B.

I reserved the uhaul weeks in advance via the online website. It appears no preparation for my pickup was done because the two add ons (moving blankets and a furniture dolly) were unavailable. It would have been great if the two add ons were already in the truck, let alone available. Luckily, they accommodated and provided a utility/appliance dolly, but they had to check to see if they even had that available.James W.

They said I could leave without checking out and they would just send me an email after the fact. That was fine with me at the time, but then I saw on my email receipt that I was overcharged. I have still have not found a way to rectify the problem despite using the "online chat" feature of customer service. There is some kind of incorrect documentation in my paperwork and I think it could have been fixed/avoided if they had checked me out in person.LEONORE C.

The app website has difficulty to it . I originally had a quote for 4 hours which is what i needed to complete my task. When i would log on to the website it was changed to 2hours; i have no idea how that changed. I had selected the Safemove Plus plan on the quote portion on the website through my phone, but that did not appear on my first contract ? Fortunately the gentleman at the location were able to correct/add to the plan on my contract. Thank goodness i can still go in person and speak to a representative who could adjust without me having to re-enter my information again. People are great the website not so much.John M.
This location has a communication issue. I called before moving to Virginia to ask questions regarding my move. Upon arriving, the employees at the front gave me a different answer than I was originally given over the phone and it was a hassle rearranging plans as a result. Additionally, there is not parking for Uhaul customers at this location so it's impossible to utilize services alone here. You will have to bring someone to help. Finally, I rented the 10' truck and it smelt like marijuana in the front. It was extremely strong and the experience was uncomfortable.LARRY T.

Second time I have rented here and I would recommend. Overall quality service in a steady rain. Truck was ready, filled with gas. Check-in and check-out were quick. Some minor things include: Truck was difficult to get into as it was parked very tightly to next truck. Having the blankets in the truck would have been nice. Ignition key was a bit finicky.Kevin M.

Truck cabins need to be cleaned better. There was debris from previous user. I ordered a regular hand truck. I got the appliance one and was consoled with, â€œWe'll only charge you for the regular hand truck.â€ I couldn't use it. It was way more heavy than any box I would have to move. As such, I had to carry every box, 1 by 1 myself. This elongated the move dramatically. And, given the outside temperature and cicadas, it was horrible.HEIDIMARIE M.

There was a puddle of grease on the truck bed which I had assumed was water when initially inspecting it. I had planned to simply clean it up when getting to my destination but since it was grease it took longer and made it a bit slippery. That was partly on me because I didn't take a closer initially. The location also did not have a scanner and expected me to use my own cell phone and data (expensive on my cell plan) to upload my driver's license. Most people have a smart phone yes, but a business should have their own infrastructure and not depend on a customer to do the work for them.JOHNDANIEL S.

The truck I rented had a puddle of water in it and it soaked and ruined my mattress. The receipt i received said that the truck is water resistant but that was not the case because water was able to drip down into your truck.MATTHEWAIDAN M.

When I picked up then truck, the rear door was wide open and so the back of the truck was all wet (rainy day). I requested another truck that was dry so that my boxes would not get wet, but instead they tried to say it is what it is and eventually gave me blankets to cover which was fine. But overall just the experience was not great and not worth the price in my opinion.ALEXANDERYOUNG-H M.

The system crashed, so the guy waiting on me did not know how to do the transaction manually. I lost 20 minutes. I had to drive all the way to Vienna, VA for a vehicle. I live in Upper Marlboro. It seems there could have been a closer location.Paul L.
