Although the truck was generally clean, the inside of the windshield was not, and that was distracting till our first gas and clean. Just a little more attention to small stuff would have been appreciated.

The agent did not wear a face mask when interacting with me and did not keep distance (not at all). I felt very uncomfortable. Further, it seemed that the agent (maybe the owner) does not know he is in a service business.

U-Haul is an absolute disgrace of a business. I ordered a 26 foot truck a month in advance of my upcoming move only to find out the day before that I could not get the truck I ordered, they only had a 20 ft truck available about 55 miles away from where I needed to pickup the truck. Thank God for Avis Truck rental which saved our lives and had a 26 ft truck available nearby for our move. I will be filing complaints against U-Haul with the better business bureau. A company of this size should not be allowed to operate nor treat it's customers like this. Total disgrace, company needs to be disbanded or go through total overhaul from top down starting with new ownership.

After arriving at my first uhaul truck has flat Customer service is an absolute nightmare got hung up on twice had to drive to different location to arrive there and still have trouble uhaul customer service is horrible it take over ten minutes for someone to answer your call bad bad service

Man what can I say about this place... I hate leaving bad reviews, and Uhaul used to be so good to me.. but this past experience has left it all tainted. I pull up the truck to drop it off, I see someone helping someone else in the back near me, they see me too as I walk inside. Inside, it's not a typical uhaul, looks like a person's office space. Total mess. Whatever, I just need to drop it off. I call for someone, no one answers. I don't want to walk around a person's private apartment/office, as that is what this place looks like, but I take a peek to see if someone is there. No one. Maybe they're in the bathroom. I wait a few minutes. No one. I go back outside. The guy helping the other people looks at me and ignores me. I stand there for a while waiting until he's done. When he's done with them, he comes to me. "What do you need?" This guy saw me walk into his office, he could have called out before and said he'd be right with me, totally ignored me. No one else working there as well, which he clearly knew. Just ignored me until he was done with the other customer, couldn't say "i'll be right with you.." Whatever. I didn't mind it too much, but I think my experience with the Uhaul in Syracuse Thompson Rd had left me bitter about Uhauls in general.. I gave him the keys, asked if I needed to do anything else like sign something.. he said no, took the keys, that's it. No receipt (got one in email a few days later), no "where are you coming from.." etc. Just a strange experience. He didn't need to make me wait, could have called out and taken my keys right there while helping load the other people's trailer onto their truck when he first saw me drive in with my truck.. but whatever.

My reservation was for 9am, they open at 8am. Guy rolls in at 9:10, and I had been waiting since 8:50. He tells me “I work 7 days a week, I take my time on Saturdays.” Then tells me they don't have any dollies or furniture pads there, even though I confirmed the order for his location. I just didn't appreciate it at all. Very unorganized, didn't appreciate my time or my business.

Had a 9 am pickup appointment, no one was in the building until 920 am. Last thing you wanna do is be waiting around when you're trying to move. Very unprofessional.

The Uhaul App to rent from is an abomination. It is really terrible to use. It is completely stressful (as if moving was not enough) and there is noone to help with anything.

I requested the truck to be returned on Monday, they put the date as Sunday. I did not know where the closest return location would be I asked the guy at the location I requested the U-Haul he gave me a location. After we unloaded the whole truck we found the location was 1 1/2hours from where we were. We called U-Haul at the 1-800 number and the gentleman there couldn't help is so we just dropped it off at the location closest to our new home. It was all way too complicated and it's my fault for not looking over the details better but my thought was I'm already moving and there is so much going on the truck rental and drop off should be the easiest part ??

The price I was quoted at reservation was significantly different than the price I was ultimately charged. Upon reservation I was told that the rental would be 19.95 for the van and then .29 per mile (which I estimated a 140 mile round trip). The trip went as planned and the van returned early having made the 146 mile trip. I was then charged $126 ($89 for the van and .29 a mile for every mile over 100 miles). This is far different than the $70 or so I thought I would be paying. Very poor communication. Also, the key was too big to return to the drop box upon vehicle return. It got stuck in the slot and I broke the key tag trying to get free. Luckily I remembered the combination to the key pickup box and was able to place the key (without the key tag which is in the drop box) in the locked pickup locker.

If there is know damage or service issues with the vehicle, the customer should be advised of them by the u-haul dealer, prior to finding them themselves.

This is a small location with a paved and gravel lot that was the closest one that had the 26' truck that I needed. But the owner, Robert Nestore, was so helpful and accommodating that I highly recommend him. The equipment was ready, and he suggested changes to my reservation that worked out better for me overall. The final charge was just as he quoted, plus the extra "per mile" that I went over on mileage, no surprises. The only suggestion that I can think of for improvement is to adjust or change the assistant's phone microphone, since it was a little "blare-y" for me.

The location was not sure how to issue me the U-hual. They charged my credit card twice because they didnt know what they were doing and then had to call corporate for help. I was there for 30-45 minutes. When we got to the truck we noticed that the truck door cables were broken and he gave it to us anyways after I complained. While moving we got stuck multiple times trying to close and open the door and one person got there hand pinched. This is completely unacceptable. Please contact me at 484-664-8857 to discuss this.

Have the equipment ready and available at the location that's was chosen by the recipient. Don't send the down the road to pick up equipment the other location did not have. Don't charge their card weeks later for an error made on the company's end. Don't have them on the phone for over 20 minutes explaining to a customer service rep that then gives them the number to their cooperate office only to get an ignorant rep at their who wants to raise her voice and argue!!!!!! Gosh! I should have asked for that taped call! Oh and don't leave them a message stating you have no idea why their card was charged instead of investigating the matter.....and don't tell the person your going to call them back within an hour but never do! Never again! Never again! Never again!
