It should be reported during rental that the location is not equipped with a person and the app needs updated for use.

Speedometer was off apprx 10mph. Front driver's side wheel had a little drag, gas mileage wasn't the best. Third rental, worst mpg.

It was the worst experience that I have had with Uhaul. First I ordermy truck online 4 days before I needed it. I was charged $65. 4 days later I go to pick up my truck, no truck there and no one to help me there. I called Uhaul, they then sent my reservation to a new location. Got there, no one there to help me. I called Uhaul back, they finally sent me e message on how to pick up the truck myself. After all that, I was then charged another $125 I was supposed to have had the truck from 9am until 7pm. Total of 10 hours, but because of all of the crap I had to go through, I only had it for 7 and a half hours. Now, 2 days later, after I dropped the truck off and it was inspected, I received an email confirmation/receipt, the $125 was removed from my account and changed to $112.18. So I was charged twice. The truck that I never got to start with was $65. That $65 should have been refunded back to me. So why hasn't it?

Our truck was ready to go with trailer attached. Very nice, roomy site. The furniture dolly, appliance dolly and packing quilts were not at this site. But the gentleman in charge found a nearby site for us to pick these items up. Appreciated!

Actually follow through with the instructions given over the phone by your customer service. Also, if you advertise there's someone on site with open hours, then it should be true. At this point I am busy telling everyone I know about the horrible experience I had by using U-Haul. I'm still waiting for a return call from the area manager.

Excellent customer service! Highly recommended. However, the after hours return process would not allow me to upload a picture. Also, the pre-registration would not allow for uploading a pic of my drivers license. Merci.

We were suppose to pickup in GA. When we arrived, the location was opening later than usual and we had to be re-routed to a nearby location. This location did not have the size we requested- they had a larger one! This drastically changed our moving budget due to the amount of gas it consumed (over $300 total). Once we drove the additional 60 miles there, we were unable to get our key out of the box. The issue supposedly was, I could not enter my name and phone number because it was already on file even though I was driving separate from my husband and his name and phone number was included as well as an alternative contact. So I added my mother as another point of contact which didn't work. Then I added my grandmother. By this time, I was speaking to a representative who told me to put a different person's name and number in as an alternative contact (should have been me the whole time) but the system would not allow me. She must not have been able to override the request because she continued to argue with me. Luckily, the manager on site connected with someone and verified we were able to get the key out of the box.

The actual site where I picked up and dropped off was fine. However.... I started this project at one location. Had reservations made. Only to be told a day or two before hand that the uhaul place had no vehicles matching my needs and moved me to another location. My information did not get sent properly and I was grossly overcharged on my rental. I might add that the "deposit " I made was never paid back. I love the good people at the location I used.... but I will tie a string around all future peices of furniture and drag it down main street by hand before I ever use this service again.
