When I book a truck I want it to be there not be told the one I wanted is not running. Then get sent to another place and end up getting a 26 foot when all I need is a 15 foot . Was told they tried to call me but that was a lie no one called me . I hope you can do better next time.

Owners were not in at time of pick up but I did manage to talk to them and pick up the trailer after about 15 mins.

They definitely don't check anything on the equipment before the next person picks it up because there was a soft tire with a nail in it on the trailer we rented.

RICHARD VWaited for several minutes to be served. Rang the bell for service and nobody showed up. When customer service rep showed up she attempted to have me pay for a second time in office. I advised her that I had paid through the app and she continued to argue with me. Eventually she discovered that I did in fact pay already and provided the keys. I inspected the vehicle except for in the back as I was already running late due to the delay from the clerk. Upon arriving at my first destination, I discovered the back of the truck was full of garbage. There was a broken BBQ and some other trash inside the uhaul. I had to then go to the dump to dispose of these items. This cost me $25 disposal fee, an hour of time, gas, physical labour and additional mileage that I had to pay for. TERRIBLE experience. Will avoid using uhaul in the future at all costs which is unfortunate as I frequently use this service.

Noel NI booked on line and the location didn't seem to know I was coming. The truck was not full of gas when I picked it up. I ended up driving a total of 10 miles and got charged for using 13 lites of gas. Which is impossible since I never left the truck idling.

Dominic GA bit of an explanation is needed. The original location I had booked my truck was at the Brookdale Ave site. I booked the truck two weeks ago and confirmed the reservation and time yesterday and everything seemed great until this morning. I received a phone 10 minutes before arriving at the site to pick up the truck telling me that they did not have a truck for me. The Brookdale site has terrible customer experience and thank goodness the Vincent Massey site helped me out. Word of caution DO NOT GO TO BROOKDALE as you cannot trust their reservation. I wish I could put a review on their site as well. Thank you Gold Star!

David WPlace was a shady motel with homeless people hanging around.No one would answer the door and after waiting for 20 minutes some half naked fat kid came to the door and asked up what the fuck we wanted.It also took them 2 days to officially return the unit to U-Haul also they won’t answer phone calls for any reason.Please stop using this place as a U-Haul location.
Derek MHad a hard time reaching the office, and the truck had to be returned 4 hrs after pick up due to a major fuel leak from the fuel tank, ( looks like a repair that did not hold, photos taken). Then upon return it was discussed regarding the payment, only 11km was put on the truck, there was no replacement avail, and I was still charged full price, and a fuel surcharge and fuel fill. for a total of $150.( when picked up a had 1/4 tank, returned after 11km with 1/8 due to leak, unable to top up. I have reached out to customer service and they are looking into the situation. I agree with paying half a day and applicable taxes.

Kate HRang twice, a teenager finally woke up (9:30am on a Sunday), shows up to the door bare foot, and stayed as is the entire time. Truck was given to me with a quarter tank, yet upon return, the attendant told us we needed to fill half the tank. We had already put $30 of gas on our way to Brockville (from Cornwall), we had to put $120 more upon delivering the truck back. So a total of $150 for about 150 KM....

scott hThese ppl run a nasty motel and uhaul rental spot all in one. They have a sign open but their not really you gotta ring the door a bunch of times even it states open on their website. I went Saturday afternoon they never answered the door. On Sunday they finally answered the door. Furthermore they have a teen kid dealing with ppl. I dealt w him and he's socially inept. Does not say hi or bye or thank you. He's rude. He took the keys back and said nothing. The place is disheveled and unprofessional. Corporate should remove their franchise license and relocate to better more prideful ppl.

Richard DMake sure back of truck isn’t full of broken glass and empty coffee and drink bottles and bags of garbage wich i had to pay to dispose of… Wich is not the uhaul company’s fault it’s the staff of the location from renting… hence why I still give uhaul an excellent review .. the company is amazing and make it easy on a move above all the rest of the stress to worry about.
Suzanne DI reserved a 4x8 cargo trailer. Friday night, uhaul called me to advise a 4x8 would not be available for today, so they reserved a 5x8 cargo for me instead. When I got to the office, they DID NOT have the 5x8 that was reserved for me. So I had to settle on a 5x7 open ramp trailer instead, at a higher price. The switch in trailers put me behind my schedule for over a half hour. So wrong trailer without notice, higher price for an open trailer, very slow assistance. Not good, I was not impressed.

Michael DAfter having to use a truck that was 6 feet smaller than the truck we reserved, and having to do multiple trips, we dropped off the truck to the location where noone was present. Then I received a receipt stating that I owe for.gas that I had already put in to match what was used, and kms that we were told were covered. This was a horrible experience and I will never recommend UHaul to anyone.

Tony KNobody was available to take my keys or check the truck that could speak English properly. 2 weeks later and I still have not received my $100 deposit back yet. I was told it would come in the mail in a week and nothing has come and no one is ever available over the phone. Very disappointed. The field the trucks were parked in was full mud and water at time of arrival. Still waiting for my money to be returned and my have to contact the local authorities if needed.

Kody MThe rental that I had confirmed was not available upon arrival and the retailer didn't have a clue as to where it was or why it wasn't there. I had to settle for a smaller truck which required multiple trips, resulting in an increase in cost on an already tight budget. They also did not have the appropriate dolly that I had reserved and was given a much heavier dolly that was ultimately useless for the job I was doing. I was also just given the key witb the truck number on it and sent on my way, and when returning the truck I found the facility locked and had to ring the doorbell for service, at which time I was met by a young boy of maybe 10 years old who took the key. When I asked if I had to sign anything further or speak to anyone, I was told no and he just walked back inside the building. Overall, not a great experience at all in my opinion, and I will definitely not recommend thisocation to anyone looking for Uhaul equipment.

Jai loué mon camion à Valleyfield sur le chemin bord de l'eau avec diable, couverture et strap, 2 jours avant je reçois un message texte pour me dire d'aller chercher le camion à l'île Perrot, arrivée à l'île Perrot le camion n'y est pas. Le personnel de cet endroit ne fesait rien pour arranger le problème, j'ai dû appeler moi même la personne qui était en retard avec le camion pour savoir dans combien de temps il serait là!! La personne me répond qui a loué le camion y'a 1 semaine臘♀️ Je reçois un appel 2h plus tard pour me demander si je veux aller chercher le camion à Cornwall. Samedi j'ai perdue 5h avec tout ça plus le coût de l'essence aller là puis là-bas. Arrive à Cornwall, ouvre le camion pour vérifier si tout y est...bin non! Aucun diable, ni couverture et encore moins de straps!! Le camion était sale et y' était remplie de vitre, j'ai dû le nettoyer. J'ai parlé à la répartitrice qui me dit que la politique u'haul c'est 50$ de remboursement... Que j'ai toujours pas reçu, j'vais vous dire que ça couvre pas le tiers de ce que j'ai perdue et dû dépenser. J'ai dû louer l'équipement manquant et ça m'a coûté cher pour 2 jours. J'ai rapporté le camion 26h d'avance et j'ai payé pour 3jours et encore là rien reçu!!! J'aimerais fortement un retour d'appel 450-567-3726 merci!
Julie BI reserved a one-way trip 26' cube via 24/7 pick up destination Cornwall to Gananoque for approx $147, upon arrival the location did not prepare the unit and was closed at the scheduled time, left stranded and in urgency as this unit was rented for us to move on a real estate sale closing day we called U-HAUL customer line whom offered a 15' cube and enclosed trailer at another location, with a $50 "inconvenience fee credit" and free trailer. Upon visiting the other location with the 15' unit and small enclosed trailer it was clear this would not suffice our required volume to haul, we required a 26' as per the reservation, this location then released a 26' unit on the account that we return it same day (300KM round trip). Therefore our travel expense went from $147 to a pre-paid cash point of sale expense of $547 in addition to a total of $175 in fuel. I spoke with U-Haul customer line again once we arrived at our destination in Gananoque prior to returning to Cornwall asking if they could make an adjustment and allow us to save the return mileage fee's and fuel and drop of at our original drop off destination just out side of Gananoque, she explained it was a Cornwall owned truck needed to be returned which we understood and quite bluntly the representative said she could create a customer case number and have someone reach out within 72HRS though "not to get my hopes up" that I can anticipate only receiving a $50 inconvenience credit on the guaranteed reservation not following through. In conclusion, we relied on a guaranteed reservation that did not hold its promise being unavailable, we lost time in finding another location without our reserved dolly and mats included in the original location reservation, we then had to return the unit from Gananoque back to Cornwall an approximate 1HR45MIN drive and returned back to Gan via a cab to our new home from Cornwall, we incurred additional $400 expense in rental fees and half of our total $175 fuel bill therefore a total additional cost of $487,5 plus cab fare from Cornwall to Gan of $200. All of the U-Haul units advertise save on travel and fuel costs hauling with our equipment and guaranteed service. Yet the customer service rep dealing with a polite interaction in a blunt tone states we can only anticipate a $50 credit and to take care then quickly hanging up after I acknowledged I did want to speak to the complaint file representative within the 72HRS. This is the worst undelivered promise and triple reserved expense let alone our additional time lost, additional mover fee's due to additional time, and cab fair back from Cornwall to Gan. I will never deal with UHaul again and I will share this experience in effort to save any other movers for being put in such a horrible situation. I run a business and we treat people fairly when unfortunate circumstances arise, we the customer in this circumstance at no fault of our own incurred triple the expense because your organization did not deliver its promise and additional time and stress. This entire reservation should be credited including our additional fuel expenses.

Francois DWhen I arrived to drop off the trailer, the one person that was working there was about to take their child to school and I was left to unhook and park the trailer on my own. I am surprised that a company, the size of U-Haul, and who has been around as long as U-Haul, Is run as incompetently and unorganized as I have experienced.
Ken DDidn't answer the phone. Had to go to location to ask a question and confirm availability, During pick-up had to wait for correct person. He was friendly and helpful with information. He did not go outside to check the equipment or help me hook-up. Everything did work out OK in the end.
