Some guy answered the door in bare feet and pyjamas. Long wait to be served, loud music and noise because it’s basically in their house. They definitely don’t check anything on the equipment before the next person picks it up because there was a soft tire with a nail in it on the trailer we rented.

RICHARD VWaited for several minutes to be served. Rang the bell for service and nobody showed up. When customer service rep showed up she attempted to have me pay for a second time in office. I advised her that I had paid through the app and she continued to argue with me. Eventually she discovered that I did in fact pay already and provided the keys. I inspected the vehicle except for in the back as I was already running late due to the delay from the clerk. Upon arriving at my first destination, I discovered the back of the truck was full of garbage. There was a broken BBQ and some other trash inside the uhaul. I had to then go to the dump to dispose of these items. This cost me $25 disposal fee, an hour of time, gas, physical labour and additional mileage that I had to pay for. TERRIBLE experience. Will avoid using uhaul in the future at all costs which is unfortunate as I frequently use this service.
