The customer service was TERRIBLE. They harassed me and accused me of STEALING a U-Haul because it wasn't turned in on the time that they wanted me to. On top of LYING and saying U-Haul will suspend my license which isn't true. They also LIED and said someone reserved the U-Haul just to get me to turn it in. I don't recommend them to anyone. Terrible

This is one of the best experiences I've had with Uhaul. This is a very good dealer for the company. I worked for Uhaul for 2 years or so in the early 90's and I see that customer service has taken a back seat. But this dealer is clean, fast, and friendly and actually puts an effort towards the customer. I'll be using them exclusively for now on as I rent auto transports a lot.

Customer service was the worst I have ever experienced in my life. And that is not an over statement. Arrived at the site to pick up vehicle @ 0730 via the app. The app did not work, it wouldn't pick up my location. So we waited until someone showed up @ 0800. Upon the individual arriving , we waited until he tuned off alarm and turned on the lights. His greeting to us was "What you need?" After informing him of the situation of the app not working properly he stated that thing don't work. He then asked my name and for my license and credit card. After doing that, I asked the question "have the vehicle been sprayed for covid?" He stated very aggressively i clean all my vehicles. I stated again, but has it been sprayed for covid. He stated again, "I said I clean all my vehicles ". I then turned and walk away and he called me a "PRICK". I turned and asked, "who are you calling a prick?" He stated i just trying to do my job. I asked again, why did you call me a prick? He stated I'm just trying to do my job. I stated to him well you are not doing a good job. I ask him for his name and informed him that I will be calling corporate. He stated call them I don't work for uhaul. I have a lot more to say. But don't have enough space. There most be actions taken against William Cotto at this location. This individual is giving uhaul a BAD NAME and reputation.

I wasn't satisfied with the overall service. I rented the trailer for approximately 4 hours. I picked up at about 3 and returned around 7. I was informed about bringing it back but wasn't informed about logging it in myself. When I called in about it the individual that responded wasn't customer friendly. He mentioned to me that it was in my contract. Overall I was upset about this.
Defective equipment trailer caught fire damaged my truck. Poor customer service
Ever ything was fine.
I watched the guy scratch my bumper with the tongue of the trailer i was renting,and he called me a liar.I watched him do it.It was a accident but still,he should have said sorry and all would have been fine.He is lucky i was in a hurry or i would have called the cops and filed a report.The left tailight wasn't working so another 30 minute wait till he figured out the issue with the trailer.I won't use uhaul anymore after his actions.

The truck was filthy inside. We had to fix the wipers and headlights the liock was stuck. We had to buy oil as It barley registered in dip stick. I feel I should receive a discount The wrong dolly was sent and I had to drive up and down Gordon Highway to find the right one. No one I called would help me
I was a first time renter for uhaul and there were slot of “fees†that I felt should have been explained at the beginning when renting the car. When I voiced my concern I was told to “read the truck†it says “fees†on the truck. Ok I understand fees but the truck doesn't say what type I would think as a customer service rep would be the person to let me know of these “ fees†and especially when I said I never rented with uhaul before.

I was supposed to pick up this u-haul from Deluxe Car Care in augusta and they sent me all over trying to figure out where my reserved truck actually was. The staff at Gordon WC Auto Repair were very helpful and understanding for handling such a chaotic situation.
Defective equipment caused fire from leaking brake fluid on car carrier, caused damaged to my truck paint. Messed up U-Haul paper work at pick up location WRONG starting millage. Drop off location had hard time getting this straight with U-Haul office
Service at this location was very helpful and informative. Personnel was always available. I was told that there is actually a fee for attaching car tows. My vehicle was carefully detached by one of your professional staff.

Before we departed,we wiped down the interior of the cab and discovered that it was very dirty. Considering the current pandemic, these trucks should be disinfected or at least wiped down in some way. Other than that, my experience would be rated 'Excellent'.

I never received an email message informing me that the truck pick up location had been changed. This resulted in my having to take a second Uber to the correct location. I was told by the manager of that location that you would refund me the cost of the second Uber ride which was $17.86. I have the receipt if you need me to send it to you.

I am extremely dissatisfied with the service I received from the 1640 Gordon Hwy U-haul in Augusta, Georgia. I was told by the representative at this location that I would not have a problem dropping off the trailer that evening. I would not be charged for an additional day. I originally placed this for 7 days and I was charged for two additional days. I will not be using U-Haul again.

I did not want the cdw since I have my own insurance and specified on online. She insisted that Uhaul requires it and charged me $250 and did not tell me it is charged per day. When I need service such as extension or unlock my truck the phone kept ringing no answer. No clear sign of Uhaul from the street so I could not find the place to return the truck even though I have GPS. Kept calling for direction and her husband was rude and kept saying "go to 1649 fort Gordon hwy". There are no address clearly show since it is commercial

Worst experience of my lifetime. Had confirmation emails and texts, however, my rentals were not available. Was told by U-Haul employee that customer service "overbooked" them and they didn't have my truck and transport trailer. Then told me it was my problem and I would have to call 1-800-GOUHAUL!!!! Unbelievable....
What can I say? This location 1640 Gordon Hwy was beyond excellent when it came to customer service. From the time I walked in to the time I departed and returned, They made you feel at home, a part of the family. Full of smiles, you can tell they loved what they do. They care not only about the business but equally about the customer.....I have used other Uhaul locations on Gordon Hwy as well as in Summerville, SC...This paticular Location exceeded any and all expectations I could ever have as a customer. I know this sounds crazy but I was blown away by how genuine they are.... Highly recommend them for any one wanting to rent or simply need moving boxes or an oil change. I so enjoyed my time I lost track of time....Amazing owners and coworkers. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for such a warm welcome as well as the best service I have ever experienced. If Uhaul gives out awards, Starbucks coffee, Lunch This place right, 1640 Gordon Hwy is well beyond deserving...

The lady who I rented the trailer with over the phone reserved the wrong trailer for me, luckily they had close to what I needed on the lot.

No one came out to hook the tow dolly to the truck. We had to hook it up ourselves.
