Arcely MayenI had the rental set up for the U-Haul in Sioux City on Gordon Drive when I got there they informed me I couldn't rent from them because they only did local rentals went across town to Groetken to get the trailer and find out that the one on Gordon Drive would get the commission off of the rental and they would't even give me a trailer. Think you might want to see how many times they do this....
gary willThere was ice cream or some food item spilled on the passenger side floor. Ordered 2 utility dollie carts and 36 blankets and they were not in the vehicle. Check engine light was also on. Called into the 800 number and they told me not to worry and I can call back if I run into any issues. Not what I want to hear when I'm ready to move a family member 1 000 miles away.

Gwendolyn DrakeCalled ahead of time to okay a drop off on Sunday even thought they were closed. Dropped off trailer at 1:00 p.m. and promptly called the store to notify that it was safely parked and delivered. Two days later I received a $20 charge for after hours drop off. I did the work. Employee/owner did nothing. Not sure how they incurred a $20 fee?
Todd HilyardIt was very difficult to lift the trailer and hook it to my Jeep by myself because I had to pull it out of the snow and the trailers aren't exactly light. I had no one to bring with me to help and uhaul does not provide any assistance.
Mary SchumacherI spent 40 minutes trying to get the lights to work on the trailer. I was finally giving up and decided to back my truck to a different trailer to determine if it was the trailer or not. I'm a farmer and knew the light on my truck worked, so this was part of my trouble shooting. The different tailor worked, so the staff member switched it out. I will say that I was very pleased with the staff, but dealing with a trailer that was not ready to go put me behind at least a hour and a half. I was very disappointed with uhaul for this reason as the equipment was not ready to go.

Crystal CurtisI reserved a 6x12 cargo trailer. At the location there was an older lady. She was asking if I have anybody with me to hook up the trailer. I said no. Why would I? She told me because nobody can help me to hook it up. She said it would be a lot easier to hook up the heavy trailer if somebody stand inside the trailer and the hitch lift up at the front. I was by myself and she didn't even offered to me to stand in the trailer. I had to lift it up from the ground by myself. The reservation should say to bring a body with you if you don't want to get pull your back.
Levente TothHelpful. But when I ask why I the reservation was changed to a two day reservation when I would only have the truck for less than 24 hours she didn't have an answer, and left it as a 2 day rental.

Mindy KramperThey were not staffed. Didn't have the cart I reserved. Couldn't charge me for a roll of tape in their system. I tried to pay but she couldn't do it. Then they call me to ask for double the price of what it costs at a U-Haul store. Charged me for too many days of trailer rental.

Pamela FleckensteinI originally had a reservation at a location in Sioux City, IA for 7 am but was called at 8 pm the night before and told it wasn't available. I had to push back my original plans and drive further to pick up a trailer so I could move on time.
Ashley DickersonI was rerouted to the South Sioux City location. Upon arrival, already paid, the associate tried to get me to pay again. Then 2 dolleys that were rented were not enclosed in the Uhaul. I only had 250 miles but needed the dolleys to move. I had to drive 15 miles to get 2 dolleys from the Sioux City Gordon Dr location.

Kevin HamburgerThey didn't have what I reserved. I reserved a truck with blankets at another location to pick up I got an email to pick it up here but they didn't have any of the blankets at all and then she removed the blankets from my order so I had to rent them separately for more money.

EUGENE SHOCKEYCustomer service person called to yell at me after I had already picked up equipment from location stating incorrect equipment was in truck. I had checked the back prior to this phone call and it was noted to have the equipment that I had reserved. She argued with me then hung up on me afterwards. I also had to drive an hour to get the truck and drive an hour back to the home I was packing up. I was then charged more money for mileage.
