JOSEPH L.He didn't come check the truck in asked us if it was swept and if pads were folded and we were just good to go. I've never not had them walk out to the truck and check the back pads and overall look of the truck as well as gas. He never left the store to look.
Karra S.I was supposed to return the U-Haul to "Treasures on Linden" in Lamoni. They called me and told me they did not have room. I had trouble returning to this location in the past. Same issue. No room and it took way to long and lots of maneuvering to get it where they wanted. I did not want to go through that again so I returned it to my pick-up location. I ended up paying almost $60 more because it was now considered an in-town rental! Very disappointing as it cost me gas $$$ as well to haul it there!

Scott P.We were only able to rent the vehicle for 20 hours, due to it being reserved. But we had to pay for a full day ( 24 hours ). It would have been nice to be able to rent by the hour in the case of having to return the vehicle in less than a full day to a prior reservation.

MICHAEL W.My trip was disastrous pulling the tow dolly that I'd picked up. Quite a ways into the trip, I discovered the lights weren't working properly (which the pick-up location NEVER checked before I left.) A tech that Uhaul sent to fix them ended up CUTTING MY RV's PLUG OFF and taping a different one on, which still didn't fix it. Because of no running lights, it wasn't safe to drive at night, which severely hindered my trip. In addition, well into my 1,400-mile trip, I dicovered one of the tires was practically bald and very unsafe. Additionally, when I dropped the dolly at the return spot, I showed them the oil on it that obviously came from my vehicle. It appears that this dolly may have done damage to my minivan! (Possibly it was an incorrect model to use with my minivan?) These issues, among others, made for an extremely stressful trip. I spoke with Uhaul reps repeatedly by phone & text, and a complaint file was opened. No one has called me yet, but I'm told they will.

I had to drive pass three or four uhauls places to get the piece of equipment i needed, because the other places did have it. he would not work on my mileage amount at all. said that can't happen. When I have had it done before because I had to go out of my way to pick it up. they gave me miles without charging me. then he tried to make me sign a paper that I have never had to sign before when you rent a uhaul. not a good place to work with.

She was very efficient and checked me in and out very quickly. The truck was very clean and even had a lock in the back door. I would recommend Hi View Mini Mart to anyone needing to rent a u haul truck in Claremore or Owasso.

Ronald M.The windshield and exterior were covered in bugs. The inside of the windshield had a film of dirt that between it and the exterior bug splatter made it impossible to see through when driving into the sun causing me to pullover and clear enough of the windshield, outside and inside, to see through enough to get to a service station and spend 15 minutes cleaning it before I could continue driving. Considering the service I received in renting the truck, which was exemplary, I overlooked the windshield and gave this experience 5 stars.

Maria M.The two guys I dealt with were Indian and very hard to understand. I had reserved my truck online a few days prior, and had declined the $28 insurance to save us on money. But when I went to get the truck, the guy had asked me if I was going with the cheapest option for insurance, I thought he meant that I had declined it. So I agreed and when he gave me the printout to sign, it was quite a bit more than I was expecting, and lo and behold the insurance was on there. I asked if I had declined the insurance and he said you agreed to it. I said well is there a way we can take that off? He gave me this look and said well I'd have to start all over. So I said ok, well that's fine, we'll just keep it. When I returned the truck the next day, I used about a quarter of a tank of the gas in the truck, out of the full tank that was in it. When I was ready to return it, I put $20 in it, hoping that it would fill it back up. It was very close, but not completely full. Like a hair short of being full. So I took it back, and dealt with another guy, also Indian. I told him I had filled it back up, and he went out to look at it, then came back in and said that it wasn't full enough and that I needed to put more in it, otherwise uhaul would charge me like $12 for fuel. So I used the last $10 I had to put in it there. I was just a little unsatisfied with the whole experience.

Alan C.I think the ad on the truck is very misleading. It is says $19 dollars per day, NOTHING about mileage charges. I know in this day and age it's normal to mistate in a ad but really just a lie.

Chad S.I had a reservation for a 10 foot truck and a furniture dolly. I had to fight (call and online chat) to get to keep the 10 foot. You really wanted me to have a larger truck. I didn't get a furniture dolly, just the regular one. I don't understand the purpose of a reservation if you can't keep it. Also better ability to manage miles instead of just beginning and end location. You should account for more variation.
