The vehicle had not been cleaned properly or disinfected inside, also seatbelt didn't work properly. Customer service was awful and location was not ideal since it was located inside of a gas station. Worst experience at UHaul that I've had.Courtney E.
Owner was rude, hard to understand and spoke little english. I was overcharged. He was impatient and didn't have the skill set required to explain charges and or fees. Will rent from a different vendor next time, Van seats and cab were filthy. Pet hair all over the seats.Virginia O.

As I was filling up the uhaul and I was told this truck takes about 10-11 mpg, so I filled up 3 gals (went 30-miles). Before I was able to recheck the gauge, the attendant came out and inspected the truck, opened the door and checked the instrument reading. I asked if everything was okay and is the fuel good. He said yes and told me a receipt will be emailed to me. When I received the receipt, I was charged $30 for â€œ Fuel Fill-up service feeâ€ + $16,2 for â€œFuel Salesâ€ + I already paid $9,89 to fill up the pump. I came back in and the attendant told me the gauge is not exactly at the 1/4 tank. This was when I got infuriated. He said â€œyesâ€ to my earlier question, if the truck and fuel was good. This is a scam tactic to squeeze more money and creating a one time customer, because I will never use uhaul or do business at this location again. Very disappointed. Uhaul and this Valero location will receive additional negative feedbacks from me from multiple sites.Tai D.
Customer service was terrible. Truck door wouldn't close. We filled up the gas before we returned it and was still charged for gas. I am still waiting on my refund. This location makes U-haul look bad.william F.

The appliance dolly that I reserved was given to the person in front of me. I was given a regular dolly instead and was still charged the same despite the error. This dolly was not able to perform the function that I needed the appliance dolly for and it was too late to try to find another solution.Terika M.
Not related to this location--Your website failed to secure a truck for me even though it gave me feedback it was confirmed. It said step 1 of 3 and would not continue after I submitted payment information. VERY frustrating. When I went to Lewisville location next morning to pick up, they told me they had no truck and I had no reservation. He sent me to a location 5 miles away with a new confirmation. As I walked in the door, I got a call letting me know it was over-booked and I was out of luck AGAIN. Sent to third location and was asked to bring it back in 3 hours and 15 minutes for another person who was scheduled to use it. Pretty unhappy customer here. Regards, Brad PowellBrad P.

This person does not need to have a uhaul. I was next in line after a black woman he was not listening to her. She was just asking if she could pay with two separate cards. I could plainly understand her request. This man was not paying attention or listening as the woman got feed up with him and she just left. I was next inline but being hes a gas station he would interrupt my service by taking on his customers for the gas station this upset me. I also requested a dolly but it was an appliance dolly he did not have one at his station. I took the utility dolly he did have. Now I figure that is not his fault completely but I plainly asked to have an appliance dolly when I put my order in for the truck. I also was expecting him to take me to do a walk around. This was not going to happen as he keeped servicing his gas customers. I believe that uhaul has plenty of other centers. I will only work with the corporate uhaul if I do decide to use them again because where I dropped off my truck did have 100 % better service and they went over the truck and did not have me waiting because they run another business.Al P.

The truck that I originally asked for was not available even though I reserved it. Yes I did get a bigger truck for the same price. The truck itself had difficulty starting along the route. The lady that checked me out told me that he had a half a tank of gas which I also confirmed physically on the gas gauge in the truck. I returned said truck to a different location and was told that the gas amount that I had was wrong. I called the place that I picked it up from and explained, but the individual said that they check the gauges and said what do you want us to do about. I tried explaining that it was possible whomever read the gauge or imputed the information was wrong but insisted that was the case and offered no assistance to customer in resolving the issue.Tim L.

The truck is on its last leg. I felt like it may break down at any moment. The gas was just over 1/8 tank so I had to fillup before even leaving the rental location. That is not good customer service. The person that helped me said bring it back at 1/4 of a tank and it was clearly not at 1/4 of tank when I started the truck. Overall, not a great experience. The location is super convenient so is where we chose to rent.Todd S.

The truck was dirty outside and inside the box. There was loose sugar all over the floor and the owner/manager did not offer to sweep it out. I ended up sweeping all of it out. Not to mention there were loose cardboard and wood pieces in the box. Only 1/2 tank of gas. Very poor representation of U-Haul.Grady R.

Trailer was filled with garbage from previous renter. We had to clean it out to avoid being charged for it. It felt very unfair to us. We spent a lot with Uhaul for our recent move and were happy until now. It shouldn't be on the renters to clean the vehicles.clinton T.

The truck was a mess, sticky crap all on the inside of the cab, disgusting. Mechanically, the truck, no dashboard lights, the charger didn't work for phone, there was a horrible rotating sound that was evident on the highway, and a terrible rubber burning smell the entire time. I asked for a credit and the guy just said â€œcall corporate!â€. I've rented from uhaul at lest 20 times in my life. Never again.John L.

The 17' truck I received was not well maintained and it just made me a little nervous. There was a terrible exhaust leak that was not only loud, but if you ran the A/C on fresh air mode (anything but max a/c) you could smell the fumes. The Sirius radio module that allowed an auxiliary cord did not work (it would flash on and off randomly while driving). And the transmission shifted harshly, being a technician I looked below the truck and found the transmission had a leak that didn't seem to be addressed for a while. The truck did it's job as did the rental location, but that truck could use a little TLC.Malachi D.

I'm from OK and have used UHAUL several times. I went to visit a friend in TX and needed to rent a van to move some furniture. I found this location online. I didn't realize it wasn't a Official UHAUL store it is an authorized UHAUL dealer so basically it is a gas station that rents Uhaul's. The van was filthy inside and out, Imand very hard to drive because it was severely out of alignment and hard to keep in the lane. Also they didn't have the furniture dolly I reserved, so they me a different type of dolly and it didn't have a pin to keep the handle in place, so it was worthless. I ordered and paid for 6 blankets, but only got two. The staff are not friendly. I explained that I only got two blankets and the pin was missing from the dolly and they only gave me $4 off are you kidding me. They shouldn't have bothered. I'm seriously considering not using Uhaul again because of this experience.Kerrie L.
Truck was filthy. Not ready to be rented. Half tank rather then full. Brought truck back & had to advise Dolly in the back not to forget to take out since cashier didn't go out to inspect. Difficult to pull out of space since all trucks were tightly parked close to each other.Soledad M.

Only one Cashier behind the counter who would stop the Check-Out/In process to wait on other customers who came in after we started the process. She (May) had to ask me multiple times for my ID because she didn't pay attention to the details enough online to check me in properly. All along making me (a disabled person) stand there for thirty plus minutes, even going so far as to to say "hold on" while she went and talked to some other co-worker about some snacks for her. Each time I still had to wait for her to wait on multiple other customers who were White or Hispanic who came up after I did. The only time she made a Customer wait was when a young African American Man came up and then she went back to finish the Check-Out/in process and print out a receipt for me. Then to add insult to injury, she made the young African American Man wait while she waited on a Hispanic man that came up after the young Black Man had been waiting about ten-fifteen minutes by then. This cashier (May) was obviously racially profiling and it was sad to see. I looked at the reviews for this location and apparently horrible Customer Service is typical for this Hans Valero store and U-Haul shouldn't allow this site to continue to service for them.Yolanda W.

This U-Haul location charged our credit card not just twice, but THREE times after returning the vehicle well before the deadline. It's needlessly inconvenient having to dispute these unnecessary over-charges. I am very unhappy with this latest experience. I wish I had just called Home Depot instead. Lesson learned.VICTOR S.

Trailer light plug on the bumper, malfunctioned whole time. Only had right side turn signal and right side bteak light only. I had to wire a jumper wire into my trailer wiring so i could at least have break lights on both right and left. Never had operational turn signals. Lucky i didn't get a ticket.Bob H.
1. The gas was only half tank. They ask me to bring it back with half tank gas, it is not easy to pump gas to half tank. 2. When I book online I opt for no insurance and when I was at there for pick up I mentioned it again that I don't want insurance because I was not going far more than 10 miles, but they add it and came out more than I saw it while do the online booking.Deepu S.

I showed up at 1PM and didn't get my Truck until 130PM. They promised me a $50 Refund and never gave me one as it stated on their website that if my truck isn't ready when I"m there with my appointment Im guaranteed $50.Katlego M.

They gave us a truck that was just returned and dirty. I saw a clean 26' parked in the lot. They had only 12 blankets and we ordered 36 blankets. They said there is a blanket shortage. So everyone is keeping their blankets and returning them?????Robert B.
