I was upset that my original pickup location did not have the equipment promised. I had to find this location on my own in order to meet my moving date.

malik jThey should have given me a receipt when turning in the truck. I was later called by UHaul asking if I turned the truck in. Apparently the location was late recording that I turned in the truck.

mendieta lThe windows inside and outside were very dirty. I washed inside and out myself. Then I tried the window washers in the car, there was no water in the tank. I had to wash the exterior windows each time I filled the truck.
DIANE GI was transferred to this location because the one I wanted didn’t have a trailer.
CHAD LThe customer service agent was rude, they didn't have all the requested items to assist with the move, the truck was dirty and smelled horrible, and the agent overcharged me. I called UHaul customer service and was able to be refunded for the invalid charges - but Hans Valero UHaul was the worst location I've ever visited.

Mark PI waited 2 hours to get the truck, and the trailer was missing the left light. There were no other options, and they took advantage of my urgency. I don't recommend it.

CHARLES AI rented a car haul trailer and he did not have the cable for connecting the lights. He said the last guy must've taken it. They should keep extras on site for this purpose if the rent trailers. Any full location would not have had this issue. I had to go borrow one from a mechanic friend who I then bought lunch for the favor.

PATRICK AWhen I spend $1000 to rent equipment I expect that equipment to be checked out and in proper working order. The tow dolly I rented did not have working tail lights. I found this out when I was pulled over during my trip at night by a highway patrol officer. It cost me $50 to buy the items I needed to safely continue my trip, and cost me an hour of my travel time. I made my initial reservation with my local Uhaul dealer I have done business with in the past. The day of my rental I was sent to another location to pick up the equipment. This was a sketchy gas station. There was one attendant that was difficult to understand. His English was not very good. My trailer was not hooked up. He did not check anything on the equipment. I had him touch the brakes and turn signals. Unfortunately I did not have him turn on the lights. It was during the day. This location should not be representing Uhaul. In the future I will not allow my reservation to be moved.
SEAN BIt's in a gas station . The attendee helps all customers so you may have to wait. Thankfully it was really fast and easy renting! It's in a convenience store so you can grab a snack and drink too! I don't like its physical location because you have to drive down access road and make a uturn . No other way to get to it.
ROSA CThey didn't want to walk out to show me the truck. They didn't do a walk around nor showed me where the drop box was to leave the keys. I told them I only needed the truck for 2 hours tops wasbonly moving 1 bed and a couch. I dropped it off after only using the truck 2 hours as promised. I had no where to put the keys so I thought the safest place fir them wee to lock them inside the truck so the truck wouldn't get stolen. They changed me for 2 days only refunding me $60 out of the $153 deposit they took from me. I only drove 19 miles round trip. The very next day they said I would only be charged $30 for the truck and for the 19 miles driven. Totally to $45 charge. They then tried to punish me for locking the keys in the truck and keeping my money. I should have gotten a refunded total of $108. I had to reach out to corporate. Waiting for a return call from the regional Mgr. Haven't heard back yet. This is the worst place ever to rent a uhaul. Poor customer service. Lazy and dishonest crooks.

Chase SCustomer service at this location was horrible. Had a reservation and there were two workers in the store and the guy who was checking me out kept having to take care of other people because the other guy wasn't doing anything. Both had an attitude and was talking down to me and my mother in law. While returning the u-haul, he was nice to the other two u-haul customers who came in but not myself. He had to inspect our truck and grill us about but the other two just he just took their keys, smiled and said thank you. It took 2 hours for me to get the U-Haul and about 30+ to return.

richard kEnded up putting a full tank of gas when it was under 1/2 because the needle wouldn't move until it nearly had a full tank. I'm not sure I'd use u-haul again, period. Not just this location.

Chad MNo issues with Rental location. Issues I have is with bad information about the truck. I had asked several times whether the van will fit a queen size mattress standing up on its side, as I have other items to move as well. This was confirmed by the rep on the phone as well as the location. After picking up the van and getting the mattress, I find out that the queen size mattress would NOT FIT as I had specifically asked. The mattress would only fit if in a angle....and it took up the entire space. This forced me to ask for favors from friend who had pick up trucks to carry the other items.... Overall, bad info on the van was provided and I am severely displeased.

Ronrico CDirty truck, pick up wasn't seamless, didn't have the right dolly and wanted to charge more (they didn't) but it was a heavier dolly. Flat tire that they wouldn't fill for me or before pick up.

david fI have already logged all this with your customer relations service representative. I also believe it was being escallated to your regional mgr who I was told would contact me... I have not heard back as of 2/15/24. I also just noticed that I may have been billed TWICE for toll charges associated with my rental. I have proof that this was paid prior to todays citation notice. renting from uhaul is important but I do have options... just saying.
patrick sIt took 1,5 hours to "check out" the UHAUL - twhen I finally found the truck (was told "its out there) the first truck had mulitple damage that was not recorded; so, tried to record but app failed. When went back in for help the individual was more interested in running the conveniance store counter then helpingme so another long wait. Then he told me to not worry about documenting bc he "would take care of it." Argued with me when I said "no I prefer to properly document." Finally, agreed to get me a different truck. But then indicated to just use same link - which was not working and tied to other truck. Again a discussion took place and he argued "dont worry about it." I persisted that I needed the link to document that was for thge truck I was leaving went. He made a couple phone calls and finally provided me with a link. Which I did need. Again was pointed to general area and had to find the truck which ended up being boxed in and extremely difficult to maneuver out. Also, reserved a furniture doley and two wheel doley. Only two wheel doley available which was nnot pre loaded. The guy was argumentative when I was trying to follow UHAUL policy and surely UHAUL wants the links utilized. Upon check out he did not go over prices and provide a document but waived me on and said he would email. He never went over anything. Not sure how much I was billed but suppose it will show up on my credit card. If I was not under time constraints I would have moved to a different location. FYI - when I went back to inform the app was not working another individual whom was trying to check out a truck was also having difficulties. I have used UHAUL multiple times throught the years and never have I had such a negative experience. I move about every two years along with utilize UHAUL for other things. So, will continue but think you need to know how horrible these guys were.
