Make sure the truck is ready and assigned to the correct person. Your online check in sucks too! Then I got a call asking if I could drop it off at a location 26 miles away from Grand Prairie. Knowing you will charge me mileage, why would you do that?

The U-HAUL equipment was dropped off by the truck driver on his way back to San Antonio. I cannot comment on the drop-off site except that it was conveniently located along the traveled route. The "Average" overall rating was selected only because the survey could not be completed without selecting something.

The only issue with this location Is that it is located on a one-way street and difficult to get to however, that is uncontrollable.

There was a communication issue about the fee I was to have. The 2nd location I was assigned to pick up told me they put notes in the system about the rate. When I was given the charge to sign, at my third assigned pick up, I advised it was too high and was told it was what it was. I explained there was to have been in the system and told there were no notes. So I had to call the second location I dealt with and since they did not pick up, UHail National got involved. The person told me the notes were in there. So I gave my phone to the pick up location agent. All this cost me over 1 hour extra of my time. This frustration was on top of my ability to set up an account with UHaul. I explained to Uhsil National rep and she could not set up either. My prior experiences with a UHaul have been seem less; this one was very trying and stressful.

It was strange having to go into a gas station and wait in line while people paid for their gas. I didn't feel like I could ask the Uhaul representative questions pertaining to my rental his English wasn't very good.

The first trailer the put on the lights did not work. so they gave us a 2nd trailer that had a lock on it with no key. Took almost 2 hours to pick up the trailer because they were not prepared at all

Have rented from this location on a couple occasions -they are great, and conveniently located. I really appreciate the new mobile capability to check in and streamline the pickup and drop off - great service.

The problem was not the location. The truck had a front left tire that was low. it had a leak. I had to find somewhere to air it up every two hours. the truck shakes violently at 70 mph which is the speed limit on the highways I needed to drive for 1100 miles of the trip. the AC did not work so I sweat my ass off. The radio was so quiet that I could not hear it over the sound of the truck rattling which made my supposed to be 17hr trip which took 26 due to needing to find gas stations with working air pumps across the country. I spent way more in gas then I would have if the vehicle got even close to 12 mpg as stated it would. But I guess you can not expect a truck to get optimal gas mileage when 3 tire are at 90+ pounds of pressure and the fourth tire is less than 36.

The place in Lewisville were I picked up was deplorable. (I've used many Uhaul locations all over the USA for over 40 years and never had this to happen) , but never one that was cluttered & messy. There was even a restaurant located in the same place but had no public restroom. After driving over 2 hours in the pouring rain, got lost trying to find the location I was told I couldn't use the restroom but was able to buy food. In addition to that, my reservation was scheduled by the worker (Justin) at the McKinney Mini Storage & Uhaul rental at the price of $67.00 and told I would pay it when I turned the truck into him. However, when I returned the truck they are not open in Sunday & was told to take it too another location. I was charged a higher price ($95.00 upfront) & not given rate or the discount I was offered because I chose to use Uhaul. I feel this was very unfair.

2 issues. 1) Some of the furniture pads I received were wet. 2) Even though I was told the gas tank was full and the fuel tank indicator was on the F. I drove the truck 25 miles and had to put 7 gallons in the truck before the automatic cutoff was triggered. Obviously the fuel indicator was still on the F but the tank was not full. I would recommend the U-Haul only place a couple of miles down the road rather than this part-time place (primary business is convenience store).

Rented a Truck for a 1-Way move. Pre-paid for rental online to save time they said. Got to rental and had to pay some more for the taxes. why prepay if i have to pay some more. Second Was told the truck had a Quarter tank of gas. (why is truck not full) its being rented from a gas station, not to mention its a one way rental. Got in truck Gas was about a 1/8 tank less than Quarter tank. Then stated mileage was off by a mile from actual mileage. Worst experience yet. This is the Second time i rented from this place first time i got a truck with That said low tire pressure, went back inside and told them, they came out and said its probaly just the way its sitting. it was 15 pounds lower than other tires, I do not recommend this place

Equipment had a lot of dirt on the outside. I spent 45 minutes at pick up because the store computer system said my F-150 couldn't pull the trailer I reserved online despite me renting this trailer before. I reserved trailer online by inputting my truck information.

The lady was nice but after moving all day and expecting the usual Uhaul drop off process, then not get it was surprise. It was a bit after 10pm, we went in to drop off the 26' truck and was told if we did not bring the blankets and dolly in there would be an extra $30.00 fee. No we are not lazy we've just never in the 15-20 times or more I've worked with U-haul have I had to do this. The next day I rented a small trailer to finish the move and as usual the new drop off location I choose accepted the trailer with the blankets inside at drop off.

I had a terrible experience and it was mainly on a mistake someone made at Uhaul. I rented a van and when I received it my contract said it has 232 mile. I got in the van and drove home about 2 miles away. I checked the odometer and it showed the trip was around 232 and the actual miles were 288. I drove it 45 miles and when returning the uhaul of course the man at the counter didnt believe me even when I showed him pictures time stamped. Can you guys help me resolve this?

I was very disappointed with the Indian Valero clerk ..she was very rude and disrespectful to us.. second...I reserved 2 dollies and a flat roller...and I only got one dolly...which made my MOVE VERY HARD !!!. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO YOU GUYS AND WILL NEVER USE YOU AGAIN!!!!!

When we were approving our 2018 Jeep Wrangler over the phone, we were told lights would be provided. We did not know newer vehicles like our Jeep Wrangler didn't come equipped with trailer lights. It set us back a few hours and we had to change to a family member's truck, but it would've been a nice thing for Uhaul to know this about vehicles before approving them for the future. The Valero attendant wasn't even aware that newer vehicles had this characteristic. He told us we could buy lights at the nearby Uhaul so we did. We found out they need to be installed and an appointment will need to be made on another day. Other than the trailer light bump, everything went smoothly.
