Truck smelled bad and I don’t trust the guys adding miles they speak in there language then turn and smile at u with a huge bill

Ronrico ChambersDirty truck, pick up wasn't seamless, didn't have the right dolly and wanted to charge more (they didn't) but it was a heavier dolly. Flat tire that they wouldn't fill for me or before pick up.

david forutanI have already logged all this with your customer relations service representative. I also believe it was being escallated to your regional mgr who I was told would contact me... I have not heard back as of 2/15/24. I also just noticed that I may have been billed TWICE for toll charges associated with my rental. I have proof that this was paid prior to todays citation notice. renting from uhaul is important but I do have options... just saying.
patrick sangerIt took 1,5 hours to "check out" the UHAUL - twhen I finally found the truck (was told "its out there) the first truck had mulitple damage that was not recorded; so, tried to record but app failed. When went back in for help the individual was more interested in running the conveniance store counter then helpingme so another long wait. Then he told me to not worry about documenting bc he "would take care of it." Argued with me when I said "no I prefer to properly document." Finally, agreed to get me a different truck. But then indicated to just use same link - which was not working and tied to other truck. Again a discussion took place and he argued "dont worry about it." I persisted that I needed the link to document that was for thge truck I was leaving went. He made a couple phone calls and finally provided me with a link. Which I did need. Again was pointed to general area and had to find the truck which ended up being boxed in and extremely difficult to maneuver out. Also, reserved a furniture doley and two wheel doley. Only two wheel doley available which was nnot pre loaded. The guy was argumentative when I was trying to follow UHAUL policy and surely UHAUL wants the links utilized. Upon check out he did not go over prices and provide a document but waived me on and said he would email. He never went over anything. Not sure how much I was billed but suppose it will show up on my credit card. If I was not under time constraints I would have moved to a different location. FYI - when I went back to inform the app was not working another individual whom was trying to check out a truck was also having difficulties. I have used UHAUL multiple times throught the years and never have I had such a negative experience. I move about every two years along with utilize UHAUL for other things. So, will continue but think you need to know how horrible these guys were.

Jihoon LeeI checked out twice today. The reason is that the first employee gave us an unprepared truck. They say my dissatisfaction is my fault, not the employee's fault. It was absurd. Also, they did not provide basic documents. I had a very ominous feeling, so the second time I asked them to print out the documents. It was a different employee when I returned the truck, but he wasn't polite and didn't even give me a receipt. I felt bad again. Why are they trying to deceive customers? Unlike trucks, employees at other places rent trucks in a ready state, but I felt that this place only counts money and has an intention to deceive customers.
Gun chungMaintenance The unit that I rent it has a broken piece, I fixed myself and the next day I had a blowout tire. I have to way 1 hour to be fixed.

Linda DownsThe wiring for the trailer was flickering making the breaks and turn signals go on and off randomly. The guy told me to put on my 2" ball so I did and said it was too big and had me put on my 1 7/8s ball. Trailer almost fell off on my way to the house. I put my 2" back on and it worked perfectly. However the lights didn't work right my whole trip.

Karina bondurantPeople are nice, but this location missed on truck availability, furniture blankets and not automatically giving me the $50 discount for giving me a smaller truck than ordered. I have to get another rental truck today to finish the job by myself even though I had hired help yesterday because of the smaller truck size. It will cost me way over $50 in rental fees and time. And this time I decided to go with Penske.

Justin DalrympleAlthough the location was basically convenient. There was only one staff member, and I had to wait for individuals making store purchases although I arrived before them. The bay of the truck was not clean. Also, I made this same trip the weekend before and received 41 miles. I eliminated one stop from the trip the week before, but was shorted 10 miles and charged for 11 additional miles. I'm unclear about what changed. Overall the truck itself worked well. one point note the smaller trucks do not have a ramp, so it was a lot of climbing in and out of the truck. If I had realized this I would have definitely reserved a larger truck.

Wanda La RussaThe truck died 5 times while I was using it. When I called customer service no one could do anything about it for 2-3 business days. This was an infuriating experience.
JOSHUA LOTTThe truck is very hard to crank! You have to sit for 10-15 minutes wiggling the key to get it started. I do not recommend people here because he never communicated anything with me about the vehicle. Poor service and a waste of money
Deshonia HedrickThe truck had popcorn all at the drivers side, dead flower at the passenger side, some remnants in the truck from previous people who rented the truck.The people who work at Valero gas station had slight difficulty answering my questions. I had questions regarding box sizes over the phone and just stated they didn't have what I needed. I was ok with that, I'd have to find the tv box elsewhere. Luckily, when I got there the box was available. The Hans Valero location has minimal size boxes to offer and there is a language barrier. On the other hand, despite the language barrier the person was very friendly. I received a call the day before to confirm my pick up of a 20' truck and the car trailer. I was lucky that my boyfriend was there since hitching a trailer is not my forte's. They were very flexible, I first picked up my truck to pack it then went a day after to hitch the trailer and drive my car onto it. Overall, my experience was good.
Rosa McEneryThe staff was great and very nice. Efficient and made pickup and dropoff very easy. The truck ran well. Only improvement was how dirty the interior was. Cupholders were disgusting and the interior had not been wiped down in a long time. However, I would use them again because the transaction went so well and they were so nice!

Jeswin VargheseI was very disappointed with the vehicle rented. The cab was not cleaned, the driver door stripping was torn down the side which obstructed view and the cargo area had gas seeping from the gas tank into the back. I was then overcharged for gas because the tank was at a quarter when I picked it up and that is what is refilled to. I will not be paying the overages.

JOHN TAMBUNGAThe guy at the gas station took 30 minutes to give me the keys, he was talking to his friends and he didn't care that I had 10 minutes waiting, terrible customer service, he charged me a different amount than the one he told me, I had already paid online and told me that at the cashier I had to charge again otherwise he wouldn't give me the keys and in the end he told me an amount and charged me a totally different extra

Marsha IsbellUpon arrival after working a 12 hr shift in 102 degree weather, I arrived to be given a truck that wouldn't even go into gear. Not only to mention my rental was for 4 pm and i didn't leave out the store until almost 5 because I had to wait for the 1 person in the store to finish with other customers checking out with other stuff. Then once my truck was switched out for another there was no gas and I was charged a fuel fee for a truck that had no fuel.
Justin EdwardsIt took numerous tries to start the engine every time I turned it off, as if the key wasn't making good contact with something, which was frustrating. That was reported when the truck was returned. Otherwise, the rental was clean, ran well, and customer service was dynamite!
Dow DouglasThe driver door would not close properly at all. The gas cap was missing from the vehicle as well. And the rented Dolly was broken as well. This location is poorly managed, and the staff did not speak proper English. I recommend restructuring.

Rohan ShirodkarYour network went down and made me late to my move. Your agent forced me to buy a bigger truck than the one I reserved over the phone telling me the one I reserved "wasn't ready." He ran my card for $160. Only later in the evening was the price corrected to still $20 more than I was quoted on the phone. Will not be using or recommending business again.
Caleb HoustonThere's only one person at the counter and he hast to take care of all the people buying things from the store as well as renting U-Haul equipment out so the wait time can be quite a bit. But it's still a convenient close location.

Eboni DixonI've never rented a Uhaul so I honestly didn't know what to expect. The move was hectic so I didn't catch the overcharge until recently. All fees were expected except I only had less than 30 miles and they charged me for 50. I initially thought it said 30 miles on the receipt but the math was off. I would've just let it go since I only put 27,8 miles on the uhaul. So I just figured whatever… they inflated a little. I filled up with gas completely at Velero (the actual drop off location). I didn't even have a full tank to start but was exhausted and wasn't trying to be exact on gas. How they inflated the miles to 50 is ridiculous. That's $24,69 more than I should've paid. Will never rent from this location again.

David HectorA couple of notes: people who own /run this location are very nice. Location all depends on where you are coming from - but access is relatively easy. Condition of equipment- what can you expect from a 110k mile truck. For me… way to much for my preference l. (I like newer equipment :). Also - check the operation of the a/C … it goes off & on. When it's 115 degrees- that seems odd?? Also - truck needs to be washed - windshield- de bugged. A bit to dirty for my liking for sure. I brought that up to the attendant.
patrick sangerI originally was reserved for a different location, in which an employee took my reserved truck due to whatever the circumstances where which caused me to have to Uber across town and spend unnecessary funds. Really was not happy about that
