I explained I thought I could drop off in Vineland. I booked the truck wrong using the online option. The guy at the counter told me he could not make that work. There was a pick up at 130. So I paid for km to return back to the location respecting the time and my error. I returned it to a lady at the counter. I was a couple minutes late. She said no worries, there are no other bookings. I'm disappointed that he couldn't help me with my error and I paid for km to return when it could have been done.Katie S.
Overall a great experience with the employees and the trucks. Only thing I would suggest is to have the appliance dolly provides in each truck. It would be a definite help.Kyle D.

I reserved a 20' truck and was told one was not available. No apology, and man had very poor customer service skills. I ended up getting a 10' truck so extra trips had to be made which cost me extra money for the extended labour time, as well as extra mileage costs at 0,89 $ a km Was a very expensive experience. Will not be using UHaul again.Kimberley A.
1) Their signs indicate it is open 24/7, it is not. Not for Uhaul. 2) The person in charge did not want to explain the tow button on the transmission. Did he want me to use more gas (he sells gas) ? 3) I filled it up completely with gas. His response was, "how do I know that ? " I had just filled it up at HIS OWN PUMP ! Record distance travelled CORRECTLY, basic truck maintenance is highly recommended (ie, oil changes and fluid top ups, wheel alignment). The owner at this location is shady, not friendly at all and lies about the distance travelled to make profit. I will never recommend any of his minimal effort services to anyone.Nancy D.

The employee gave me his keys and told me where to get the appliance cart outside (behind a storage container). He should have gotten it for me. He was not overly helpful. Didn't give any guidance as to what truck was ours either.Kristina B.

When we signed up, we had it until a Tues. Called day before and said can get it that night, extra day free charge. Got to Ottawa and found out was supposed to be actually Monday drop off. When at Niagara, they asked husband can drop off any location in Ottawa and he said certain place. They actually wanted it at a further place and told a customer it would be at that location. Also found out the place my husband thought, it wasn't even there so Uhaul also got that mistake. Wasn't pleased with Niagara.Charlene A.

I had a horrible encounter last time and I swore I wouldn't use U-haul's services again. Not because of the company but because of the customer service rep that works there. I believe his name is Vijay. The last time we used this location, the experience was terrible so we were trying to avoid this location, unfortunately, it's the only location with the truck size that we were looking for so we had to use this location again (554 Niagara St). Because our last experience was so bad, we made sure this time we had everything in black and white and we were as polite with this man (Vijay) as possible. This man still over charged us again! He tried to up sell us on some insurance which we declined. This man still charged us for it and we questioned him about it, he said "My head is crazy today, I'll talk with you later". I kindly explained to him that we were just trying to clear this up because when he called us on the phone to complete the registration, we tried to use our debit card and he explained to us that if you pay with debit or cash you will have to take the insurance. The only way to opt out is if you use a credit card. So I gave this man my credit card and he still charged us and when we questioned him about it he told my wife there's the door and if you guys aren't happy then don't come back here. What an absolute moron. People in the store were looking at him. I have a video of him saying these things and even more nasty things to us on my phone and best believe this is going on youtube and every social media platform I have access to. I've never written a review before but this guy was just unbelievable. I also have a receipt showing that he refunded us for the over charge. The last time he tried to make me look like a liar and he embarrassed me and my wife. This time I have receipts and video footage. Dear U-haul, if you really want to make your experience for your customers better, please please please fire that guy or at least transfer him to another location. He is an absolute embarrassment to your business and anything customer service related for that matter.Emmanuel A.
The customer service rep is extremely rude and unprofessional. He over charged us and then berated my wife and in front of all the customers in the store. When we asked to speak with a manager he just ignored us and refused to speak with us. He needs to be fired! I called your customer service line and the agent I dealt with was not even trying to listen, he was more combative then helpful. He basically tried to make it seem like I'm the idiot and that I didn't know what was going on. He told me he would have a manager reach out to me, I have not received a call since. This is absolutely awful. Speaking strictly about the business, I have no problem with the business it's self, however, the customer service is piss poor. Please close the 551 Niagara location, the service rep there is a scammer. Vijay is his name, at least that's what he claims. He kept on giving us different names so I don't know who we were dealing with. As a customer I'm incredibly appalled that such a person is in a customer service role.Emmanuel A.

Truck was not close to clean. In this day, where things are supposed to be sanitized, the truck was not even wiped. I spend an hour cleaning it when I got home. Windshield wipers were ineffective and bordering on dangerous, washer fluid was empty and I had to refill it after driving about 20 Kim's. Not satisfied with this rental.neil C.

Only improvement would be to have parking on site and not have to go to plaza next door. Seeing a sign saying uhaul customers will be towed away from parking where they actually rent to uhaul from is kind of strange. But other than that, my rental was ready, clean, full of gas, and the process was very smooth. Price was very competitive as well. Good job!!KRIS F.

Be more transparent in letting people k ow what you are willing them for and tell them up front what the charges are.. also when returning the trucks.. have the rep go out and take the pic of the mileage. Also refunds should be issued instantly, not 4 days after the rental is complete. I wasn't impressed with thos locationGuido M.

The mobile check in was non existent. I was forced to go int the store and do the whole registration over again. The back of the truck was muddy. There was a dolly and cart in the back that was not requested and got in the way. Other than that everything was fineALLAN K.

I didnt get truck till 6 PM and had to still have truck by 1 pm the next day and paid for 24hr use dont think that totally fair at the full pricemeghan H.
I had a 6hr time slot and was given 4hrs. The employee was rude and wasted 40mins of my move time by serving customers at the hasty market drive-thru and counter. I went to pick up the truck for 10am and wasn't even handed keys until 10:30am. It ruined my moving plans. I'm extremely disappointed with the service. Will not use again if ever I need a moving truck. 100 $for a truck that stalled in traffic and was quoted at 50 $is absurd. The gas alone was ridiculous for the three short trips we made.adrienne M.

This was a nice location, and service was very good. It was just the truck itself was not cleaned, the floorboards were filthy with dried dirt and the door panel had candy wrappers stuffed in it. Overall though, one of the more pleasant locations to visit, and nice to have the gas station right at the site to fill up at end of job.Mark M.

When we arrived the clerk was rude, served someone who was behind us in line causing us to wait longer. Then he said he didn't have the truck we booked. This resulted in us having to take a smaller truck, and make multiple trips. Nothing was offered for the inconvenience and once we finally got our keys and went to the truck we had to take instead, it was not cleaned. Smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, there was some garbage and dog (or cat) hair everywhere. We had to go in and he gave us keys to another truck. Overall there was no display of adequate customer service. Moving is stressful as it is, and dealing with this locations mishap was a dent in the day.Anthony G.

I had issues with this location terrible customer service. I was told two days before my move that my truck was out for repairs and I'd have to go to st Catherine's. And pay for all these extra km for my small in town move. I called he's office office and was told my truck was already back at location. I called back and they were rude to me. Eventually I got my truck at my location but I don't know what kind of scam location was trying to pull saying my truck would be gone when it came back in a hrTyler B.
Terrible location to rent from, owner is rude and abrupt and demands that you DO NOT park your vehicle on his property when renting. You must park across a busy 4 lane road in a Tim Hortons parking lot or next door in a plaza, neither of which he does not own. His reasoning is its not covered under his insuranceKenneth N.
