I explained I thought I could drop off in Vineland. I booked the truck wrong using the online option. The guy at the counter told me he could not make that work. There was a pick up at 130. So I paid for km to return back to the location respecting the time and my error. I returned it to a lady at the counter. I was a couple minutes late. She said no worries, there are no other bookings. I'm disappointed that he couldn't help me with my error and I paid for km to return when it could have been done.Katie S.
Overall a great experience with the employees and the trucks. Only thing I would suggest is to have the appliance dolly provides in each truck. It would be a definite help.Kyle D.
I reserved a 20' truck and was told one was not available. No apology, and man had very poor customer service skills. I ended up getting a 10' truck so extra trips had to be made which cost me extra money for the extended labour time, as well as extra mileage costs at $0.89 a km Was a very expensive experience. 1) Their signs indicate it is open 24/7, it is not. Not for Uhaul. 2) The person in charge did not want to explain the tow button on the transmission. Did he want me to use more gas (he sells gas) ? 3) I filled it up completely with gas. His response was, "how do I know that ? " I had just filled it up at HIS OWN PUMP ! Record distance travelled CORRECTLY, basic truck maintenance is highly recommended (ie, oil changes and fluid top ups, wheel alignment). The owner at this location is shady, not friendly at all and lies about the distance travelled to make profit. I will never recommend any of his minimal effort services to anyone.Nancy D.

When we signed up, we had it until a Tues. Called day before and said can get it that night, extra day free charge. Got to Ottawa and found out was supposed to be actually Monday drop off. When at Niagara, they asked husband can drop off any location in Ottawa and he said certain place. They actually wanted it at a further place and told a customer it would be at that location. Also found out the place my husband thought, it wasn't even there so Uhaul also got that mistake. Wasn't pleased with Niagara.Charlene A.

I had a horrible encounter last time and I swore I wouldn't use U-haul's services again. Not because of the company but because of the customer service rep that works there. I believe his name is Vijay. The last time we used this location, the experience was terrible so we were trying to avoid this location, unfortunately, it's the only location with the truck size that we were looking for so we had to use this location again (554 Niagara St). Because our last experience was so bad, we made sure this time we had everything in black and white and we were as polite with this man (Vijay) as possible. This man still over charged us again! He tried to up sell us on some insurance which we declined. This man still charged us for it and we questioned him about it, he said "My head is crazy today, I'll talk with you later". I kindly explained to him that we were just trying to clear this up because when he called us on the phone to complete the registration, we tried to use our debit card and he explained to us that if you pay with debit or cash you will have to take the insurance. The only way to opt out is if you use a credit card. So I gave this man my credit card and he still charged us and when we questioned him about it he told my wife there's the door and if you guys aren't happy then don't come back here. What an absolute moron. People in the store were looking at him. I have a video of him saying these things and even more nasty things to us on my phone and best believe this is going on youtube and every social media platform I have access to. I've never written a review before but this guy was just unbelievable. I also have a receipt showing that he refunded us for the over charge. The last time he tried to make me look like a liar and he embarrassed me and my wife. This time I have receipts and video footage. Dear U-haul, if you really want to make your experience for your customers better, please please please fire that guy or at least transfer him to another location. He is an absolute embarrassment to your business and anything customer service related for that matter.Emmanuel A.
The customer service rep is extremely rude and unprofessional. He over charged us and then berated my wife and in front of all the customers in the store. When we asked to speak with a manager he just ignored us and refused to speak with us. He needs to be fired! I called your customer service line and the agent I dealt with was not even trying to listen, he was more combative then helpful. He basically tried to make it seem like I'm the idiot and that I didn't know what was going on. He told me he would have a manager reach out to me, I have not received a call since. This is absolutely awful. Speaking strictly about the business, I have no problem with the business it's self, however, the customer service is piss poor. Please close the 551 Niagara location, the service rep there is a scammer. Vijay is his name, at least that's what he claims. He kept on giving us different names so I don't know who we were dealing with. As a customer I'm incredibly appalled that such a person is in a customer service role.Emmanuel A.
