Fyi when I took the truck it had 3/4 of a tank of gas. I returned it with a full tank... I had the key forward so I could put it where it needed to be but the needle wouldn't move until I put it in drive then realized that I had filled the whole thing
KEVIN KI ordered a furniture cart that was not on the truck. I was still charged for it even though on the initial check in I noted it wasn't on the truck.

Samuel PThe inside can was a mess. Cup holder and dash needed a good wipe down. There was also a small pool of water in the door handle which was not pleasant to be surprised by. Truck itself ran great. The staff were organized and ready for me.

SHANE PIt was very close to where I needed to move, but when I got there check-in was horrible with uhaul app. Next after spending about 30 minutes jumping through apps hoops I finally got the keys. Next I went to check out everything and it didn't have all the blankets inside I paid for, and the vehicles check engine light was on 臘♂️ I did drive it because I wasn't going to spend another other minute waiting around for customer service. Now I have to wait to see if they are going to refund me blanket fee. I would never use that location for pickup again, but maybe just for a drop-off would be fine.

LEE AHad to scrap ice from windows and the mobile check in did not work on MY phone (ended up using a friend's phone to complete the return) for some reason. When calling customer service my call wasn't answered in a reasonable amount of time.
Eric HI picked this truck up on Friday 9/16 in the morning at 11am, it took the store an hour to get me the truck because of technical issues with the website and because I was working with the gentleman who runs the computer store and was not part of the uhaul service there (confusing). That was frustrating. After that I learned that there was no appliance dolly, and I was redirected to a location 4,5 miles away to get one. I did, and then was instructed to return the appliance dolly to that location (out of my way both trips to and from). I returned the truck 3,5 hours after I had picked it up on the same day. The next day I got a call from uhaul that saying the truck had never been returned -I'm guessing it was not logged in until Monday morning. I called the location this morning, again the person who answered was working the computer store and not uhaul and couldn't help me until the Uhaul people got in. Honestly I'm very unhappy with the whole experience, I think this location was very disorganized, and I would recommend using another location.

Raleigh gLocation was great but the appliance dolly had a broken tire which caused my fridge to fall and it dented. Staff was very nice but the faulty equipment ruined my experience.

LISA RThe box was hard to find because there was small U-Haul signage. Also, I was not notified that the additional contact would need to verify their willingness to be an additional contact. When I picked up the truck at 6AM they called them to verify. Lastly, when dropping it off the app would not allow me to upload a picture of the milage or gas levels to finalize my order. I tried for 30 min to get it to work and ended up leaving the keys in the box and just leaving.

URVASHI MCustomer service was horrible. Not told where to return truck to - had to figure it out, 1 hr wait for customer service, ordered pads were not in truck, size of truck I needed not available so had to use bigger one, etc.
Marques WHad trouble with the app getting the lock code for key to truck. Kiosk operator was rude would have rather cancelled the rental than get the key luckily the code finally came through. Do not rent at the heartland computer kiosk rental in omaha.

I have them on my phone if anyone needs them. We tried calling customer service but sat on hold for 15 min before we gave up and left.

grant lMy experience renting from this location was horrible. We had a pickup time for 8:30 am, and were there promptly. Since that is pre-business hours, we logged into U-Haul to do the pickup. Their software was a bust, and it just kept thinking/processing. We tried the online chat, but no one ever responded. Eventually, U-Haul called (while we were on another line holding for a human) and said they needed to confirm the phone number, because it wasn't the primary one, but the secondary? So, sometime (app hour) after holding and transferring, we finally had a code to the lockbox to get the key. Customer service added an hour onto the reservation since it took so long. The truck was fine. The return was a hot mess - we returned the truck, locked it, and put the key in the box as was signed. No one was at the store - sign on the door said they'd be back later. (Lunch?). We then left, and called to let U-Haul know we returned it, since staff was absent. That person said we should do checkout on the phone. So, we had to go back to the location and thankfully the key box was signed wrong, and has middle-school locker spinning combinations to release the key again, so we could take photos of the truck and check out that way. We then put the key in the other box that doesn't have the combination. A couple hours later, I looked at my online banking, and there was a second random charge from U-Haul. More holding, transferring to the wrong person, holding and waiting was involved on the phone. Finally, we got to a helpful and competent person who was able to identify the problem - the lady who'd added an hour to our reservation actually added a day. So, we had a pending charge for 1 more rental day + day of insurance. He fixed it, so the pending charge is expected to fall off in a few days. He was great, but everything else about this rental experience was a real dumpster fire. Over 2 hours on the phone with U-Haul fixing their issues. Numerous times we were told by customer service people that they were sorry, it was really busy because it was the last weekend of the month. This isn't your first month in business, so staff and train your team better. And get key boxes with Bluetooth - the whole process was quite archaic and frustrating.

NATHAN VYou should rebuild your computer system to be in real time results so the customer will know if they will get a truck when they order it. You should have a phone bank that will ask for a call back number if the wait time will be more than 3 minutes. Your agents should have training so they can exsplain what is going on and answer questions for your customers. Your rates may be clear to you but they are deseptive to the general public.
Douglas KThree complaints: I rented a 10 foot truck, and got and was billed for a 15 foot truck. When I reserved it, i indicated i needed it until 4:30. I was getting calls at 3:10 from uHaul starting they needed the truck at 3:30. I returned it before my scheduled time. There was less than half a tank of gas... weird.

Kim C100 miles into our trip the change oil light came on. I was moved to a different pick up location less than 24 hours hours from my pick up time, this is with a six month reservation! I was scheduled to pick up the truck at 8AM and I was moved to a different location ten miles further away that did not open until 9AM. I had to pay a moving crew an additional hour because of this!

Patrick PI prepaid and checked in a head of time. When I got to the location to pick up, the link I was told to click wouldn't access anything so I had to go inside. It took over 30 minutes to get through (oh, I was the ONLY one in the store). The system had me returning the truck to some location in New Jersey (I was going to Maryville, MO) and the worker couldn't figure it out. The truck was ready, but not clean in the cab as well as the back storage area was not swept out. VERY disappointed, especially with cost, after dealing with ALL this.
