The truck leaked a lot of gas when I fueled it up. There is either a problem with the fuel tank or a connection hose.

Owner was 20 minutes late in opening his store. He could not find the mule. He was confused about everything and he was foggy about helping my hook up trailer. He wore flip flops, which are not safe around heavy equipment. This is a side hustle for him. Pkeas STOP using him Office was a mess and dirty with boxes strewn around unbelievably unprofessional! Bad experience all around!

It looked and smelled like a third world crap hole. Junk all over very poorly maintained. God awful. I would never go there again. Marginal folks running the place. So sad when other facilities seem so nice. I want my money back.

Store is tiny, behind a taco stand, not well kept, dirty, glass-strewn parking lot, and with few accessories to buy. Incompetent staff who couldn't properly attach the trailer to my vehicle.

Wasn't open when returning during published hours of operation twice. Never received a receipt by email. A few hours later I had several fraudulent credit card charges from a gas station two blocks from U-haul dealer.

No one was there for my 9 am appointment. Had to wait 30 minutes for them to show up. Grounds and inside the office are dirty and lots of weeds.

The Indio attendant was 45 min. late for our appointment, showed up in dirty, wrinkled clothes and did not even comb his hair. His office was filthy! The truck had not been swept inside for us. The truck itself was very dirty on the outside and caked with mud. Very disappointing.

Charged me for 3 days instead of 2. The trailer was filled with gravel and not clean. The worst part is the facility. It's a filthy back room of a Mexican restaurant and reeks of rotten food. I mean this place was actually filthy, and a health hazard for the restaurant. Apparently the owner and his family are date farmers too. I called at my pickup time of 8 am and the owner picked up his phone saying they were 15 minites away. I would have used the one in La Quinta, but getting the trailer size I needed is really difficult apparently.

Everything was pretty good only thing was that first we had to wait for the owner of the shop to get there and when we returned the tow dolly waited outside for almost a full hour and he never showed up.

They charge me a 25 dollar fee that wasn't mentioned on the contract. I dropped off truck at Monroe st. Indio CA. Truck was clean and i moved mattresses theres no way of getting the truck dirty. Guy just took keys and said ill email you later and thats what I got. Stay there make sure they inspect the truck infront of you. 25 fee for cleaning. !!?? They need Better customer service And cleaner location office.

It's extremely difficult to find, the guy that operates this location did not arrive until 8:46 am and our appointment time was at 8:00am. Once we found the hidden location, the office was extremely and disgusting dirty. It's in a run down filthy office. When I say filthy, it was disgraceful. I don't see how you could operate a business out of this. They are unorganized and not very friendly. Bad customer service. We had to help move other equipment out of the way to get what we came for. I will never rent from that location again.

We used the trailer for less than 24 hours of what we thought was going to be a 5 day rental. My guys returned the trailer during the operating hours but no one was there. I called that day multiple times to request they check in the trailer and send me an invoice showing 1 day rental. Never received anything. Called multiple times over multiple days, never received anything. Then received a phone call saying our equipment was overdue. Still no receipt sent to us over a week later showing final bill for 1 day.

My ususal location U-Haul (Hwy 111 in Indio) didn't have the trailer I needed, so they located one at this location. Trailer was in excellent shape. No one was in the office when I returned the trailer mid-afternoon.

I lost one hour trying to find the location. They are not at the address listed in the contract. They didn't answer the phone and I called at least a 6 separate times. I finally got a return call one hour after arriving at the location listed in the contract and he gave me the correct address.

Hard to find. Locked when I got there. Called the number, no answer. Within 5 minutes (just getting ready to unhitch in the parking lot to take a delivery picture, but he showed-up unannounced) a guy walks down the alley and says..."just park it by the wall between the two trucks. Last I saw or heard of him. Took photos as proof and left. 30 seconds of contact not quite comforting.

Very run down facility in comparison to other locations. In addition, I was charged for 2 full days only being late an hour and received a call saying the trailer was needed by another customer, rushing our return and no doubt collecting the same day's rate from them. In addition there was a charge on my receipt for 16 for some trailer protection I was not told about nor authorized and I called about it but have yet to see a credit. I will involve Amex if necessary and give a scathing Yelp review if it's not taken care of.

They gave me the truck at a quarter full and said that that would be OK to return it at a quarter tank. once we got it back they charged my credit card $66 for a fuel charge even though we filled the it back to a quarter tank it's taking me days to try to get them to refund my $66! Go somewhere else and check your invoice and don't leave until you get your invoice!

During open hours I arrived and it was closed, got charged for several gallons of gas when I returned it with more gas than I got at pick up, after several unsuccessful calls, they returned my call explained the gas charge situation and never heard back from them

This is the second place I went to after the location in Cathedral City was closed due to all of the employees quitting and not showing up. While the employees were very sweet at the Monroe location, the building was falling apart and was very unprofessional. It took nearly 45 minutes to check out and get on the road.

The man spoke no English, I had to go behind the desk and try to help him as he kept point for me to come around, very uncomfortable as a woman. He told me not to drop it off where I wanted to said no safe so he chose yucca valley after i insisted no. He printed receipts that weren't mine so I left them took a photo of the computer screen as I was there. Got in the truck gas didn't match or miles took a photo went to the back had boxes of trash took photos, I tried to tell him he just keep pushing his hands for me to leave. I'm so disappointed and had to pay extra miles because of this I'm so up with this.

Truck was old and dirty. The building we picked the truck up from was damaged, sketchy and was difficult to find. They didn't have the reservation, despite the reservation being made the day before, and there were no furniture dollies. I had to call to get the charge for the dollies removed.

The location office is a total mess. The staff is friendly and the equipment was good. The office had boxes of dates everywhere. I am not sure if we were at a Uhaul or a fruit stand.

I have rented trucks many times through the years. This was the first UHAUL location that was not opened at 8am when I arrived. I had to call a number on the door which was a small shed like room with a padlock on it. The gentleman said he would be there in "`15 minutes. He showed up 30 minutes later. The manager called me back and apologized that his worker was late. Upon going inside..the room was filthy, with boxes thrown everywhere, trash, it looked like it was an old garage. It was NOT up to UHAUL standards in any way. If I were you..I would have a Uhaul representative visit this location and realize how it is substandard. I also have a video of the interior of the office is you would care to see that.

This was my first time renting a truck. I was not made aware of any extra charges that would be made apart from the rental fee and cost for mileage. Upon picking up the keys I was still not informed. When I go back and see my rental agreement after the fact, it was signed where my name was, but I didn't sign it. To add to it, when we got into the truck it was dirty and had an old dirty towel that smelled. I talked to the representative at the location for my complaints and he was no help at all. Customer service definitely lacked. And I will NEVER be coming to this location again. I would give it negative stars if possible. 10/10 do not recommend. They take your money without even explaining the charges.

Poor service. Nobody at the counter when I arrived. Turned uhaul back at in during business hours and nobody was there. Left keys in drop box. Uhaul had no fuel on pick up and was in very poor condition. Will never rent from that location ever again

This was by far the worst experience I went through with U-HAUL. The office building was an ugly mess dirt and trash everywhere. They manager wasn't there and nothing was ready for me to pick up. I spent 30 mins there while who ever was there was calling the manager to figure out what truck I was taking. I took photos of how dirty and run down the office looked. They wanted ME to move the trailers around for them because he was unable to do his job. I was so upset that I left the trailer there and just took the truck. The truck tires where EXTEMELY low with air and they wanted me to go fill the tires up with air. UHAUL should be ashamed of what I went through. I should have received a full refund for what I went through at the disgusting place. U-Haul should not do business with this place anymore!!!

If you say that you will have the vehicle ready at a certain time, have it ready. If this is a U-haul dealership first then treat customers that way. I'd like to talk to someone about my experience

The first pickup location we went to was no longer active after our reso was made there . Had to drive 20 miles out of the way to the new location to another dealer . When we got there , an older guy was by himself and didn't know how to even do a rental . I use to be a customer service rep at Uhaul so I know how to do everything , so I literally made my own reservation and did eveuthing on his computer and showed him how to do rentals. I even helped hook up two trailers and hook up someone's car to the AT since the guy didn't know how to do it . When returned truck , was told rental was taken care off but still got charged the full amount and now I'm on hold with customer service .

Dirty inside of store!! Attendant didn't find my reservation. I got a phone call while waiting inside saying my reso will be release if I don't show up. I called back the number, Christina and I spoke with her assistance I was able to get moving (well except I didn't my lynch pin so to Walmart I went) towing supplies for sale would be awesome!

This location had nothing including help. Some old man had me lift a heavy young by myself. When I couldn't do it he went into a restaurant to ask for help.he still didn't help us. The employee was Not there when I arrived. Had to wait in the hot son until I called his cell number.

The people at the location called us the night before the truck was due back asking when we were dropping off as he had another renter waiting for the truck. Then the morning it was due back they called again asking when we could drop off. We brought it back in our allotted time. Then said we were all paid up and we could go, but when we got home received a message that our card had been charged for additional mileage that should have been settled at drop-off. He was rushing us to get the next person going.
