Reserved a uhaul May 6 for May 14th. Called the day before to confirm my reservation and get there and they have away my uhaul I reserved and said all of Austin was out of uhauls I ended up having to wait 4 hours to move. Almost left me with no place to go.Madison M.

I rented unit to store my households and rented a 16' truck with a furniture dolly they had the furniture dolly but did not have a truck at this location was asked 2 pick up at different location when I returned to move in the elevator was broke. I am 67 years old stairs are not an option for me. was told there was nothing they could do about it. All though the folks that I returned the truck 2 were very helpful I won't be needing the unit anymore.Tim R.

The location we FINALLY got our RESERVED truck from was great, BUT U-Haul FAILED terribly! I had a confirmed reservation for 2 miles from our moving location in Round Rock. I received a text message 1 day before moving day at 7pm saying the reservation had been moved to a location 25 miles away. I called and was moved back to the preferred location but with a smaller truck. We go to pick up the truck at the reserved time AND IT'S NOT THERE! We are told to drive 20 miles to Pflugerville to get our truck... So we rush over there and IT'S NOT THERE EITHER! As we pull up to the uhaul location I receive another text saying it's been moved to another location in Cedar Park...25 miles back the other way. At this point we are 3 hours behind schedule and have driven damn near 100 miles while our kids are home thankfully with my mom. This was an absolute terrible experience, and we will research other options for our next move for sure! I never want to go through that again. Moving is stressful enough as it is.SAMUEL J.

This is not the location we requested 7 weeks in advance (we specifically requested a location that was open on Sundays and this location was not). Truck was too dirty to look for scratches but truck was mechanically sound and in good shape overall. There was beer in the glove box. Truck was unlocked upon arrival. I did call on Saturday and the person I spoke with was friendly, she just wasn't there when we arrived because the location did not have Sunday hours. We also had to make a second Haul stop to go to the original location we requested to get the blankets I reserved 7 weeks in advance because this location didn't have them.Micah S.

The truck was dirty inside. Had garbage in it from previous renter. We had to go back in and ask them to either make a note on our account that it wasn't cleaned, or clean it because we were not going to be responsible for someone else's trash. The windshield wipers were horrible and it was pouring rain from Austin to Houston. The truck leaked inside and ruined some of the boxes and a mattress. The water appeared to come from the right rear wheel well.RONALD S.

i dropped the truck off after hours, but staff was helpful even resolving an over charge the next day, appreciate the support and service. The location was a bit odd, couldn't see the other uhaul trucks without driving back behind some out buildings. Not super inviting, but service was excellent.Alan W.
Disgusting! The location is absolutely disgusting! Our truck was completely covered in bugs and no one cared. And then we were charged a cleaning fee!JOSHUA D.
I had trouble completing the digital check in. For whatever reason, even after I adjusted my location setting (which is needed to complete the process) the app was not picking up my location. I called The 877 number that is on the website , and received a recording that I would get a call back in 60 mins. (Way to late to keep the schedule I had arranged.) I use an IOS phone. Luckily I had I friend with me, who had an Android and we were able to complete the process using his phone. It was only after we were able to start the process through his phone that we could even get a phone number to talk to anyone. If he weren't there I would have been stranded without any help. This may sound like a minor glitch, but when you are talking about moving an hour or two delay can mean you don't get to move that day. In the Covid Era workers are hard to come by. I had helpers scheduled, who were kind enough to wait until we got this sorted out. But if I hadn't been able to even get a number to talk to someone because of some tech glitch, I would have been at risk of losing my movers, and not being able to move on time- there are financial obligations to others for the place of residence I was in. A small tech glitch, and lack of being able to reach anyone could have cost me a ton of money!! I am forever grateful I had a friend there (I often don't), I can forgive U-haul, but it would be a really productive change to have the number that was provided when my friend was able to start the process available to all us poor schmucks who are trying desperately to manage ALL THE THINGS involved in moving. This put me back about 40 mins. The job was completed, but not without frustration and anxiety. Nobody needs any extra of that. Hope someone is listening.Lindsey W.
