I had a mixed experience. Although it wasn't totally terrible, the place opened late despite being told to arrive early for check-in. I had already registered online, but the facility was messy and looked quite shady. After receiving the key, I was sent on my way without any guidance on how to unlock/lock the hatch or important tips like using the emergency brake when parked. Additionally, the emergency brake was hanging off and posed a significant safety hazard. VERY UPSETTING EXPERIENCE.

Andrew VUpon check in the counter person generated my contract however could not locate the keys to the truck he assigned to me therfore check in took an additional 20 minutes.
Myra CTold the man working there able the issues with the trucks speedometer and how unsafe it was. He told me there wasn't anything he could do about it. So I asked for someone who could. All he did was tell me to call 800 go uhaul and tell someone there. I plan too

DOUGLAS BThey gave me a broken truck that wouldn't start. And the owner knew the truck had issues because he said it had gone through 5 batteries in the last year. Yet he keeps the truck on the road instead of figuring out the problem. I was late with the truck and my movers were sitting around waiting.
Frank LThe truck I rented was dirty in the cab. It was sticky all over the floor and cup holders. The steering wheel, dashboard, and console were covered in a layer of dust and dirt. The cargo section of the box truck was full of dirt, leaves, and just general garbage. My cargo got dirty during transit because of it and the dirty mats I rented. I found myself in need of the windshield wipers because of snow in the middle of my trip. The truck was unsafe at that moment because the wipers were dry-rotted and smearing the snow across the windshield and not cleaning it off. I was also overcharged for another day rental and had to go back to the location to get it resolved. The only reason this place did not get a single star rating was because the location resolved the issue since they saw it was a mistake.

BRIAN CEquipment was not properly prepared for a 0700 pickup as scheduled. I had to wait until the facility opened at 1000 to address the issue. Show a little respect to customers by paying attention to simple details.

Kimberly HIn answer to the question regarding equipment, the headlights on this truck did not work and I had to use the High Beams to drive at night. I suggest having it serviced as soon as possible. Otherwise, everything worked as it should.
ALISHA TThe equipment I ordered with the uhaul wasn't present including 2 dollies and multiple furniture pads. I went to another location to rent all the moving supplies I required. The drivers side door did not close properly. It generated a lot of wind noise while driving and repeatedly warned me about not being closed.

Barrett CThe pick up process took over 30 minutes and not sure why when I've rented with U-haul two other times. The prices have more than doubled in last three years and always additional fees after drop off.
Dainis MThe gentleman who runs this location is very helpful and kind and fast. Had a low tire alert and he checked the pressure for me to confirm I was okay to proceed. Quick in and out. Have rented from here 3-4 times in the past and it's the only UHaul place in the area I'll use because he's is so efficient.

Jameson CLocation was very remote and no one was around to assist. Lot was very crowded with trucks so difficult to park the truck. Return keys was a hole in the wall which I felt a bit nervous returning them there.

JAMESON DAgain, no human interaction. We were assigned to a pickup location so far from our home and original pickup that at drop off, despite going only from pickup to home and then to the new apartment then drop off we were charged an overage fee (AND we returned the vehicle a day early!) There was no one to tell about the ABS light (though we called it in on pickup) or the unsecured dolly that is just in the truck. It was unpleasant at best.

IVAN DArrived as site was closing, presume owner was individual I spoke with and seemed quite bothered by my arrival despite it being at stating closing time. Signage and site itself were less than optimal and would not have been particularly comfortable sending my wife or daughter to this location
SANJAY MThe vehicle I rented had a brake light and rear driver side turn signal that didn't work. It was practically brand new (just more than 5000 miles on the odometer). Driving through a congested Washington DC and Delaware made for an anxious experience.
Robert MIt is buried in the back of an area that does not look of feel safe. The area looks abandoned and the signage for Uhaul is not easy to see or find. As a woman coming to pick up the truck, I felt very concerned for being there, especially since the store was already closed. I needed to pick up by 6:45. The area should be well-lit, and I'm sorry, Uhaul can consider putting a virtual solution there as people walk up so they feel greeted and safer. Being able to call using the app is one thing but that does not demonstrate that someone is watching the location and can see what your customers are experiencing. Lastly, placing signage atop the building so as you are driving down that long, dark road, you know where you are going and won't end up in danger. It's a sketchy location and look for Uhaul altogether.
Atokatha ANobody was there, instructions were unclear, and the app crashed during check-out, so I couldn't finish it properly.
Alex PDid not give preauthorized 20 % discount promised due to no van at first 2 locations. Cabin really dirty, oil change due light on. Not a pleasant experience overall.

Eric MThis location was closed on Sunday, when i dropped off. I used the U-Haul app to return the truck, but two days later ii still do not have confirmation of the return or am i able to get my receipt. I called and they had me call 1-800-GO-U-HAUL.

Amy JThe truck i rented was very old and the transmission was faulty. It would lurch forward in lower gears.
Susan GThis location has only one person working there. It took about a hour past my reserved time to get the trailer, then I was charged an additional $20 for dropping off the trailer at 5:30pm. When I called the customer service line later that evening I was told that I could have checked the trailer in on-line. I was not aware of the online check-in option, as I was not able to use that option to check out the trailer. I request a refund of the additional $20 charge.

Mohinderjit SThe location was sketch at best. We returned the truck before 4 pm on a weekday (Thursday), and there was no one there. No biggie, so we used the app to return the truck; however, the location seemed a bit unsafe and would have been worse if after dark.

Brittany MWindshield wiper broken. Found out next day when raining. Caused four hour delay waiting for service. Cab not clean. Lights had short and blinked on and off (including cabin interior light) for a while after turning lights off, closing and locking doors. Location very difficult to find and get to. Not up to UHaul standards.
Gerald MGas was low, and there was. Horrid smell I the trailer. It smelled like the previous renter was transporting cattle. This is unacceptable and should be addressed.
