This location was a bit inconvenient for me. I was required to use it because the truck size I needed wasn't available at my preferred location. Also, I prefer dealing with an actual person rather than the "online" checkout there. I felt fortunate to have picked the truck up on a Sunday morning when traffic is minimal. I would hate trying to get out of that small lot when traffic is heavier.

Jack AI was quoted a price of $75, and reserved the truck at that price. When I arrived to pick up the truck, I told it was $150. Complete rip-off.

PAUL BEverything was good and went well minus the start and end of this truck rental. I undertand the idea behind using an app or website to streamline rentals but neither of these options works good. Took me 30 minutes into my own scheduled window pickup just to confirm with your company. The app glitched/absolutely did not work. Would make me re-enter same info 3-4 times. And the website didn't help with making things any easier. It as well kicked me out of my current screen/progress simply to leave me wondering what's going on. I never had the chance to officially load up the pics at the end due to your app/website issues. I'd very strongly suggest getting that fixed as I was not the only customer that day who had connection issues. I think better can be done than that..

Kevin CReturned the vehicle at 4:55pm but they were already closed. Tried to use the U-Haul app to do a self return. Would take pictures of the equipment as the app instructed, but the pictures would keep disappearing. I took multiple pictures and they would appear in the app, but when I took the last picture, all the pictures I took previously would be gone. I kept trying and then the app crashed. When I started the app again, the dashboard did not have any current rentals and therefore I was unable to finish returning the equipment using the app. My internet connection was fine. App needs fixing.

Tammy BThe truck had a couple of huge flaps of rubber hanging on the sidewall of one of the tires. The local guy checked with central and U-Haul could find no other 15' truck near me, so I had to take this one. They said to call U-Haul roadside assistance and they would change the tire. I called and they said they would set someone up. U-Haul texted me with the name of the private contractor tire company, Valley Commercial Tire, that promised arrival in 2 hours. After a while I called the private tire company in Sun Valley to see why they weren't here and they said it was too far for them and had cancelled with U-Haul. I called U-Haul again and they said they would send someone else out, South El Monte Michelin with an ETA of 90 minutes. I waited 90 minutes and they didn't show up and I was running out of time. So I drove 300 miles on the tire with huge sidewall damage. Thankfully the tire held up and I got to the rehearsal for my daughter's wedding with 7 minutes to spare. In addition to the tire problem, their padlock didn't work, the passenger side air conditioning vanes in the dash were missing making it quite uncomfortable for the passenger, and one of the wheels of their dolly barely turned. Also, after laboriously typing all this in, when I hit the submit button, it said this: There was an error processing your request Something went wrong on our end. John TVery rude personnel. Truck was dirty. We returned the truck first thing in the morning. The guy who received the keys was mad because I dropped off the truck at 9:00. He wanted the truck earlier than that and their schedule it's from 10:00 to 5:30.
Christian LHagoup was great when we went to pick up the van on thursday. Very thorough with all the information we could possibly need. I was sorry he wasn't open for the return during the hours he said he would be, but I managed the self return easily. final submission was 3 minutes past the return time so I hope I'm not charged anything extra!

Brett ASite wasn't open/couldn't get furniture pads I paid for. Answered during check in that no furniture pads or dolly were available & I was still charged for them. Gate was closed when I came to return & had to manually open/wasn't clear it was unlocked
Jamie SThe car battery was essentially dead when I rented it out. After arriving at my first stop, the car battery died because I left the hazard lights on for 45 minutes. I had to wait over 2 hours for someone to come replace the battery before I could continue on my way, delaying my move by 2 hours on what is already a busy and stressful day.

puzant kIt wasn't so the much the location, though the agent's hours were not good for what we needed help with. The online experience was horrible, needed to talk to a customer service rep to get help in renting our vehicle, and it took us 45 minutes vs. the 10 minutes it would have taken with the old system of working with a real person behind the desk.
William OI like this location and the people but the truck was hard to drive. Hard to start - at one point did not start. Emergency brake hard to release. Super rattly and bumpy. Glad I was only local. Give them a new truck!

JAY SThe location is good but only if you are picking up your rental from an actual person. Checking in and out through the app was a nightmare. It did not allow me to check out the rental and I had to call customer service. CS did help but overall process took 30 minutes. Same with checking in the rental. App would not work properly and I had to call CS again and wait 20 minutes for an agent to pick up. Would rather prefer a physical person to help and it would have been so much faster.
Hilda TI had a really hard time picking up the van. My reservation didn't give me the option to start the steps of picking up. I selected doing with my phone because the location was close on Sunday but I had to call customers service and wait almost 30 minutes until finally I could do it. So better organization with outside business rentals

william jThe staff at KASL were fine and helpful, but the overall experience with U-Haul was extremely frustrating. I had to utilize the website for picking up the truck and it was terrible. It did not have my reservation listed, it was slow to load, kept crashing, and I eventually had to call U-Haul to have someone walk me through the online check-in. Then I tried to use the website to add an extra day to my rental and it was impossible to do so I again had to call someone. So overall the people were fine but the website was terrible.
JAY SThe truck had almost no gas when I rented it-because the gas nozzle and tank had been knocked under the side skirt sometime in the past. It was incredibly dangerous to rent it, and when I went to fill it, I saw the damaged gas tank, which could not be filled, yet UHaul charged me for 45 dollars in gas, and another 30 dollars to fill it. I took a photo which clearly shows the bent gas tank and twisted, unreachable nozzle. I will report them to the local PD on Monday for the fake charges and unsafe vehicle. DO'NT RENT FROM THEM.

They painstakingly and with a tremendous amount to patience, competence and detail assisted, processed, explained and walked me through the entire rental process. I found speaking and working with your clearly competent and experienced Representatives there, to be absolutely pleasing and rewarding. From beginning to end, I found working with and my experience in dealing with them, to be an easy, relaxed and informative one, which made my rental an effortless and relatively quick one. Overall the entire contact, effort and experience proved to be a positive, comfortable and an ultimately rewarding and most importantly a successful one. Mary GThe 17' Uhaul truck we rented from this location was extremely unsafe to drive. The location owner did not do a proper walk-through of the vehicle with us and we felt lied to about its horrible condition. When we called him to complain, his response was "You're still going to have to pay for the mileage you used on the car." We received no apology and he did not even seem surprised that we were calling with these issues. - The driver/passenger cab seats were falling apart and it smelled like cigarettes - The gear shift lever was very difficult to maneuver into gear - The drivers side side mirror was missing the lower mirror, making it difficult to see around turns - The A/C was spotty and kept turning off for minutes at a time - The brakes were very soft and needed replacing - The interior lights did not turn on for nighttime driving, making the speedometer impossible to read in the low light - We could hear loud grinding sounds inside the engine while driving and felt it was unsafe to take on highways - The driver side door would not completely close, even when locked - The passenger side door would not open from the outside, even when the keys were used Overall, this was an awful rental experience and I would not return to this location again or recommend it to my friends/family. We ended up returning this vehicle early and renting directly from a Uhaul center in Pasadena down the street. It was a much better experience.

Robert MOwner was 50 minutes late. Was waiting outside from 8:55-9:50. My pickup time was 9. There was no locker with keys. I understand things happen, but he did not offer a discount or anything for the inconvenience. He was very lackadaisical about the whole event.

Frank HI had a reservation for 9:30 for a truck and appliance dolly. I showed up after that time and their was a long weight due to a "system issue". Once I reached the front of the line the truck was not a the location. I had to wait while they called 3 trucks that were not returned yet. Eventually a truck was found at a different location, but no dolly was given, which added to mileage as I had to go back and rent that too. The location I tried to dropped off had a self check out through the site, but it did not work as described. A worker who shared the lot advised me not to drop the keys off with out confirmation. I had to go home and charge my phone after several attempts. I then received a call asking why I dropped off the truck with out leaving the keys and blocked another truck. Despite the fact I packed it exactly in the same spot that I picked it up from. Even after all that I still received a voicemail about not terminating my contract. I called back only to find out that the person who accepted my dolly might not have properly check it back in. Terrible experience over all.
