The return instructions printed on the rental contract were entirely incorrect. Instructions stated to call the drop off location to inform/arrange for the return on a day they are closed (Sunday). After many attempts and getting a recording from Verizon about the number, I tried using the U-Haul chat to get help. Received no response from Chat. Then started looking for an app, which I was able to download and found I can do the return through the App. Would have been much easier if that information was provided on the contract.
Michael DOver charged, had no moving equipment available and the truck sounded like it was gonna break down and felt very unsafe also was dirty with food containers left on it from previous person.
Janice PWas scheduled to pick up at 6am via mobile app, called the location and spoke to staff 2 days in advance to confirm since I knew it was before opening hours. Called the day prior at 445pm again in attempt to confirm again, no one answered. The morning of pickup no one had linked a truck to my reservation, no keys were available for a truck, I called Uhaul customer service who stated I would have to wait until the location opened at 8am (I was already dropped off there standing outside). Customer service said the location would have to be the one to offer a reduction in reservation fee due to the error, and the location said that they cant and it would have to be Uhaul... so no one took responsibility and I got to pay full price for a service I didn't receive as booked despite also emailing Uhaul upon truck drop off. If I could give both Uhaul and the location zero stars I would, I completely understand mistakes happen, but NO ONE took responsibility and offered an apology or any reduced fee for rental. Both parties just said, "not my fault." Either party could have said, I'm sorry, let me offer you a discount on your rental and we will work it out between Uhaul and the local office," but I guess quality customer service isn't what you get here. I'll never use this location again, or Uhaul services.
Heidi HThe U-Haul's Computer system was down, and I had to wait for about an hour with no solution to get the truck rental. Poor customer service. The truck had the engine light on, and an Engine Oil Change was requested by the truck computer.
Alain SThere was a lock and I called they said take it to a closer uhaul that could help me I waisted 2,5 hrs of time moving and then when I showed up at 5pm (yes they did close but wouldn’t answer the phone 25mins till close and even hid behind the counter pretending to not be there) they refused to help me even knowing they caused this and didn’t answer the phone.

Stephanie KHelped me out after the local UHaul rep literally FUCKED my wife and I, almost literally ruined our move. We reserve a 20' well in advance, never get told it is moved, show up to the "new location" and it had been given away. Thumb up their ass Ogeechee staff have NO recourse. No one gets in trouble, not one helps us. FUCK THEM. If it was back in the day I would call that manager out back. Total bullshit. Luckily for us, the Rincon rental location and the Kings and Queens location cobbled together a 5x8 trailer and a 15' truck for us. As for actual U Haul staff/management in Savannah, I might type up a less profane version and send it to my old BC to disseminate to the boys. Don't fuck with these incompetent, unaccountable losers. I will be calling to ask for a refund once I finally cool off.

Don KEverything was great, we love the employees at this location, but please note that although the truck was well maintained, it was very dirty in the bed. We had to sweep it out before we could put stuff inside, it was full of debris, including a bunch of pet hair….almost (unfortunately) as if digs had been transported inside?? But this would not stop us from renting again.

jennifer VThere was an issue with me having an out of state driver's license and whether they were allowed to rent to me. With Uhaul being a company that mainly exists on people moving, this was ridiculous. The agent was friendly enough and she tried but we had to wait for confirmation for almost 20 minutes to be able to get on our way. The truck was clean and while it wasn't the best ride, it performed as expected and we had no problems with it.

Eric LThe owners were very helpful and the inventory in this location was superb--just about anything one would want for any size move. As a side benefit, you can get you tow vehicle cleaned before or after your journey:-)

Ralph EI originally chose a pick up and drop off location that would be close to my old apartment and a location close to my new apartment. Both the locations got changed and I had to pay for the additional mileage. Also got an email about a conversation regarding the drop off location that was never had.
