I had a terrible rental experience with Uhaul. The reservation was not honored as scheduled. When I finally got a rental it was farther away and instead of 0,79 cents a mile they charged me 0,99 cents a mile. This reservation cost me a day and a half and there is no one to talk too about the issue. I was on hold 2 times and was disconnect after being transferred around the system both times. Uhaul is as bad as an insurance company when it comes to customers.

Nobody was there to help us. The cashier had to call the owner at home. The truck inside was horrible. I had to sweep it and mop it before I used it. When I reserved it, it said 50, plus 1,99 or 2,99 a mile. I went 30 miles in this horrible but became I had no choice . Still can't figure out how it came to damn near 200$. Will never use this place again

I was made to wait. The person that helped me was on a phone call and even after he was told I was there and waiting, he didn't really treat me like I was valued or worthy of his time. Although the tank was over 3/4 full, the truck has difficulty down shifting on it's own and it made for a much scarier and stressful drive to Virginia

No one was at store to go over truck with me. Everything was done over phone. Someone should be on site to go over rental truck details.

Have the uhaul where you say it is going to be. Have someone there to inspect the uhaul before rental hooks up to their vehicle. Don't make the renter do all of your work!! Uhaul is heavy. Inform renter they need to bring someone to help pick it up if you are going to be too sorry to be there to do your job!! LuAnne Jordan

Not his fault. Clerk had never completed a transaction and was left alone in a busy convenience store.

The problem was not with this location. The problem was with uhaul itself! I made reservation on Thursday for Friday. Got to location no truck, I was then sent to 5 different locations before getting truck in Claxton. Even traffic out of Savannsh,Ga was sending me to pickup trucks get there and no trucks! Uhaul experience was horrible!
