Truck was dirty & smelled like smoke. Truck ran poorly. The pickup was a giant headache.
AshleyHope Hudgins-TarantinoPick up was easy but drop off not so much. I dropped it at a Texaco and the lady insisted that I take it to one of the other locations even with me showing her the contract that had that address. Finally she said just drop it anywhere and put the keys in the drop box .She refused to check my mileage or fuel gauge so I took a picture for my protection. I asked about the 6 blankets I rented and she didn't seem to care so I took them in the store and dropped them in the floor and took a picture of them also. I could only imagine the hassle of trying to lease a truck from them., there was 3 on the lot

David ElderI was not informed that this was a remote pickup point and would need to download the app prior to getting to the point of pickup. Was unable to access the drop box and retrieve the key, The person who I spoke to was not knowledgeable to help. It took over two (2) hours to get the key, after creating an account several times.
lorna ThomasThis was absolutely the worse U-Haul rental experience I have ever been through. All the way from renting the truck to returning the truck. Will not recommend renting a u-haul truck to anyone. Good customer service starts with a face to face experience, NOT through an app on your phone. A clean truck would also be a huge help when moving furniture.

Clinton AdamsThis is a gas station with a lock box.....no one there can help you. We had to call and talk to three people on phone before we got any help. Had to stand in the cold for over a half hour to get into to lock box. What pissed us off the most was that there is a brand new facility with people there to help you, 6 miles up the road. That is where we made our reservation.....then we were told we had to go to dumpy gas station location to get our truck. To make make matters worse....they had the same truck we wanted, at the nice facility sitting on the lot So...we finally get the key from lock box and drive down the road and realize the dolly and blankets we paid for were not in the truck.....we had to waste another 45 minutes for them to bring us this stuff.....from the nice facility. Do not rent from gas station locations that do not have uhaul employees.....that's the lesson learned. Never again.....the online check out system is total frustration

Tiawanna GloverThe truck didnt have a muffler i guess, it was so loud and scary it gave us anxiety. Also, the check engine light was on so we didn't know if it was going to break down or not.
tabitha harrisonU-Haul changed our location to High Falls. When we got there, on time, we were informed the only truck he had on site had a broken side mirror and could not be rented. He called U-haul for us and they sent us to the original location. We wasted one and a half hours because of U-haul's error and had to pay movers to sit and wait for us. When we arrived to the 2nd location our reservation timed out and we could not gain access to our key. It was a complete nightmare and I am very unsatisfied as a paying customer.
Carrie TruaxI usually have to pick up my truck after hours. This is an excellent location. Well lighted. I was taking a bit of time to get the truck with my phone and a very friendly attendant came out and asked if he could help. Love this place !!!

MICHAEL CHATMANTruck was dirty, had roaches, and didn't have hand trucks or furniture blankets as I requested. I spent an hour cleaning and trying to exterminate. Ended up taking the truck back because I didn't want to chance getting roaches in my stuff.
Daphney RiddleThe owner threatened me to call the police because I refused to move a 26ft truck without the ability to see a vehicle behind me. He said to me " back into the car". ......I told him to move it. He refused to give me a receipt because I would not risk relocating the vehicle with very little turning capability and risk hitting the fuel pumps at this location.... ..this guy should be banned from Uhaul!
John PanoskiThe uhaul cargo space was nasty. I had to sweep plant and dirt out before I could even put my furniture in it. Then I got charged for gas that I wasn't suppose to be charged for. The mobile check out was awful and the check in.

Jose MoralesGas station reps do not have adequate training on how to operate the uhaul service from start to finish. Keys are not where they are supposed to be. Spent hours on the phone between multiple uhaul reps to finally get the manager to find the truck key in order to rent the truck successfully despite having a "mobile pickup" which should not have involved reps at all.

Cecilann MalcomJust a suggestion to avoid misunderstandings the store clerk should go out with the customer to inspect the truck for cleanliness, and gas level. It's suspect to get extra charges afterwards when they rejected doing an inspection.

CECILIA JONESOnly thing I disagreed about was I only needed the vehicle for one day they made me take it for 3 days They charge me for 581 mile I only need it 540 mile I feel I was overcharged and spent more money than I needed to when I called they said they had a 10-ft that was only $19 a day but when I showed up they only had the 12-ft and I'm not for sure how much they charged me on that per day not counting mileage and fuel which overall was a nightmare because I didn't need nothing that big I needed either a 10-ft or a van so overall I give it a thumbs down because I was lied to and I traveled 20 miles in order to rent the U-Haul and come to find out they did not have a 10-ft nor a van all they had was 12-ft or bigger I think it was a scam I would like to be compensated Price dropped down for the price of a 10-ft and a price dropped down to one day rental instead of a 3-day rental that I did not need I would like some money back on the mileage I only use 540 mi not 581 mi so I kind of feel like I was ripped off
