These people don't even have printers on site to print paperwork to go in trucks. Very unprofessional with that aspect. Seems like anybody with a storefront can represent U-Haul at this point.

When I initially looked at the outside and inside of the truck, everything seemed fine other than dried mud on the floor on the drivers side. When I arrived home to begin packing and picked up the furniture pads, they were wet. Not damp, wet. I then could not use them on the wood furniture or it would have warped the wood. These furniture pads that had been placed in the back of the truck were also covering dried mud on the floor. Since they were wet, it then created both the floor and the furniture pads to be muddy. The driver side window also did not fully close. Despite the window being cranked all the way up, an extensive amount of wind was coming in, especially at higher speeds on the highway. This resulted in it being very loud in the cab. I do not believe this is an uncommon issue, as this is the third Uhaul truck I have rented and experienced this same issue. The cashier was very friendly.

Person could barely speak English. Did not send me all of the proper documents. I didn't know how much gas was in the truck as they never came outside to inspect the truck. I ended up spending a lot of money on gas since I didn't realize it was only half full when I left. The person only shrugged at me when I came back and couldn't understand why not only was my contract in Spanish but I didn't get the required documents. When i called customer service they said i had to call back at a later time because the person hadnt checked the truck in. I had to work and could not yet call back. I will never use Uhaul again

We were originally scheduled to pick up at South Plaza in Virginia Beach. At the last minute we were switched to a different location. A location that doesn't maintain dolly's which I initially reserved. When I called Shawntel she has an unprofessional attitude and lied to me more than once. She told me the location can change but she was only required to have the dolly available. When I asked to speak with a manager more than once I was told to file a complaint against the Lynn Haven Golf Park where she sent me. Then she said I could come get the dolly at her location. I told her the complaint would be against her and then she said never mind, I don't have a dolly here for you. We flew in from Kentucky and did not have the means to drive to different locations. This was unacceptable.

My first truck had a flat tire. The girl working at the golf course gave me a key that did not go to the next truck. So much time wasted trying to get a truck.

This location is a literal golf course! There's no sign or indication that it's a U-Haul drop off location. We wasted gas driving around because we didn't know a golf course took rental equipment and the girl at the counter barely speaks English and doesn't actually work for U-Haul so she couldn't answer any questions we had.

This was the worst experience I ever had with Uhaul. I would not recommend this location. Truck was full of ants and the overall pickup and drop off was incredibly horrible.

The location hours was inconvenience. Truck should have been able to be dropped off at a U-haul location site . Staff was not helped at all not U-haul employees.

most "out of body experience" ever! Drop off the Uhaul, and knock out a bucket of golf balls! SO cool. Such an easy, no stress drop off experience! Friendly, prompt and attentive service. My future "go to" Uhaul drop off location in VBeach!

Location doesn't match gps..need to update and put a u haul sign...actual drop off point in side a golf course..if I didn't see another u haul truck would have never went into that parking lot...

the only issue that i had with this location was that when i went to return the truck both gates were closed and i had to wait a day because unfortunately it was xmas day. Now had the system acknowledged this as a holiday the experience would of been very different. Fortunately the location i returned the truck were very understanding and i wasnt charged for the extra day.

Would be helpful if the web site didn't list the site like it was a place you could go for full service. We didn't realize it was just a pick up/drop off location. While I was there I was luck enough to be able to enter a reservation so we didn't need to go someplace else to get the truck.

Location made a mistake and gave the keys ot another custoomer and charged me for it Area Dispatch Manager handled it "over the phone" to authorize the imposter renter, then told me I had to file a stolen vehicle report, which I did. I will never use Uhaul again.

Picking up and returning the U-Haul at Lynnhaven Golf Park was the worst part of my moving day. I selected the 24/7 Truck Share service at 0800 because the Golf Park didn't open until 0930, so I went and walked over there from my apartment because it was close, which was why I selected that location. I went through 6-7 web pages on the internet and then finally got a code to unlock Box 2 at the U-Haul rental box location which was a walk away from my truck. When I finally got to the Golf Park's Gazebo and unlocked the lock for Box 2 for my key, there was no key in there, so I called U-Haul customer service. Luckily I found someone who was opening the Golf Park and had the keys inside, and he was able to verify with Melody from U-Haul customer service (Melody was great) that I was the right person for the truck. My truck was dirty with water bottles and stardust candy all over the floor, but other than that it was just "fine". When I went to return the truck after moving stuff for about 8 hours in the heat, I went over to the Golf Park gazebo, had to park my truck all the way in the back and then walk over to their gazebo again. I talked to the guy at the counter who asked me to take a photo of the mileage, so I walked all the way over to the truck again, took a photo of the mileage and came back, he said he needed a photo of the mileage and the gas level (which was still at F) and I said I'm not doing that and walking over there again, told him the gas level and showed him the mileage and immediately left. The truck was alright, but picking up and returning the truck at Lynnhaven Golf Park was literally the WORST part of my day and I definitely will not ever consider picking up a truck there or going there to play golf.

missing furniture dolly - still got charged despite dispute. Also staff at this location made us repeat in person what we had already done online for both check-in and check-out, which was inefficient and kind of opposite the whole point.

The location is behind a putt putt facility without any signage and no visibility to the street. No one told us what to look for or how to get in. Once we figured it out, we had to drive up a makeshift dirt road and look for personnel who was actually a putt putt employee who just called someone else on the phone. The truck was a drop off so no one had checked it once it was returned from the previous renter to ensure it was safe for the next renter. Terrible!!!

Better customer service and making sure that people get the proper reservation at the proper time . If in the future someone had this issue, I would hope that U-Haul would compensate them for all the gas and wasted time that they had to go through like myself. The very small amount of compensation that I've received back doesn't even come close to the money I've lost due to the incompetence of U-Haul

The vehicle was dirty in both the front and back. It smelled like cigarettes and there were cigarette ashes all over the place. The back of the truck had sand in it that had not been swept out. Picking up from this location was also very unprofessional. The worker had me signing random forms on their iPhone going back and forth while working with other customers despite me getting there before anyone.

There was no real indication this was the right drop off. When I dropped my truck off, there were no others so you literally think you got the address wrong. If you walk up you can find the key box but there should be a small sign somewhere. I was like wtfminiaturegolf.

Kind of a strange location, literally the parking lot of a mini golf/batting cage/driving range facility. Checked in online and went inside to pick up the keys and everything went as expected. No paperwork, just picked up the keys from the nice woman behind the desk after she verified my reservation in her system.
