My reservation wasn't ready at the first location. Instead of the "$50 reservation guarantee" all the did was change the cost of the mileage.

Donald KeysThey say that they have mobile pick-up/drop-off but I had to do the entire process manually, which ate into a half hour of my reservation time. They also have an AirTag in the vehicle, which I could not locate but had to listen to it clattering around as I drove. It also kept broadcasting my phone's location along with it, which now makes me feel uncomfortable because I'm not sure if it will do it again if I come within it's range again. Very slow service, especially with their regular business crowd.

Marcia WorshamI purchased a utility dolly with my truck rental; however it was not in the truck when I went to pick it up. I spoke to the store rep and he told me it wasn't his fault because I should have come into the building when I picked up the truck. I signed up online to do everything through the mobile app so there was no reason for me to go in the store. I still have not received my refund at this time.

Robert KocentTwice I have rented a vehicle from here with the intention to utilize my app when picking it up. Both times it required me to go inside. One of those times the store was not open, so I was not able to get my vehicle. Although open the process of getting the vehicle took me 30 minutes or more. I will not, under any circumstance, get a U-Haul from this location again. In fact, due to the fact that the app did not do what was promised, will look for other options besides U-Haul going forward.

Kostas KoufidisThe men were very unprofessional…. The service was horrible. They scammed me for my money by over charged me to steal from the U-Haul company to put extra money in their pockets. They charged me for gas when we clearly put the tank where we received it. Then also charged me for 100 miles with me only suggesting 30 from the beginning then only using 16 miles and I'm still having to pay the 100 mines I did not use! I would never recommend my worse enemy to deal with these guys at this location simply because they are scammers and have horrible customer service and rents out horrible trucks! This whole experience made my moving very complicated and frustrating just dealing with them.

Arlee ButterfieldThe comments are related to the u-haul at the dillonvale cinti ace hardware. I stopped in there on aug 28 and made a reservation to pick up a vehicle on sept 10 a sunday. Iwas to pickup at 9am. He filled out the paper work and said all that I needed to do was pickup the vehicle on sept 10. When I arrived on sept 10 IO found out they did not open until 11 am. I contacted the local u haul and they found me a vehicle on madison rd 5 miles away. I was able to do my task on time. I confronted the manager at the ace hardware several days later. He said he was sorry. When I asked why they did arrange to have a key in there lock box he said the person who made the reservation may not work on sunday so he ight know the store hours! On my bill they charged me for cdw which I did not approve. I did not see the contract until I returned the vehicle because it was sent to my computer which I could access until I returned , The vehicle cost me an extra 10 miles because of this errorI would like a refund of the cdw and the extra mileage charge.

Michael SproullHire someone with better customer service skills and know the difference between a quarter tank of gas and a half a tank of gas. Not to mention the truck ran horribly. I started to call them to let them know, I was afraid to something that ran so horribly
mark dupreeTruck has 123K miles on it and in terrible condition. I had to take 7 different pics to document all of the unmarked damage. Truck was dirty with spills on floor and dog hair on the eats. The app timed out while loading the damage pics having to start the entire process again. Very frustrating. The app and on-line crashed twice while trying to reserve and change reservations. People at the store were very nice but they had trouble with the tech as well.
Brian AshingerI arrived at the drop-off location, and there was no spot to put the trailer in. I also had 12 blankets I rented that needed to be returned. I called the Madison Quickstop number as directed when I arrived, and the person who answered had no ide how to process my return. I went inside the quickstop (which is a convenience store) and gave the register person my contract with information and told him I already paid for the trailer and blanket rental but I needed to know where to return the blankets and ensure I received credit for the return. He had no idea how to process it, and he called the owner for directions on the phone which were still not clear. He didn't know what to do with the blankets, so I left them in the back of the trailer. I needed proof that I received credit, so the register person had to go through several steps online that he was not familiar with and ask me if I agreed with the steps taken - not a good process for a customer who spent a lot of money to rent and properly return the equipment. The owner should have trained his team to process, been available himself during these declared working hours, or not allowed processing during those hours. This was a stressful process, and I'm still not sure I won't be charged again for the equipment.

Ryan Fisherthe drop off location had no idea what to do at first. had to call the owner/manager who didn't pick up at first. then they marked down my fuel level as 3/8 instead of 3/4 and I had to chase them the next day to change it. When I called the location they said they could not help me, i'd have to call the regional leader. then I called him and left a message and then I got emails saying the drop off location corrected their error. I will never use this 2nd location ever again. They barely knew what to do.
Daniel EpsteinWhen I picked up the truck ZERO gas in it. I returned the truck with the SAME low fuel and got charged $10 haha. Dispatch changed the pick up location THREE times. Truck had graffit all over the side of it and smelled like shit. I had professional jobs and had to roll around with a damaged truck. Customer service is horrible. I rent trucks all the time and never had these issues.
CHRISSIE BLATTIt just didn't have the conveniences of a dedicated UHaul store. The clerk was excellent, but the vehicle did not have the blankets I paid for, it was filthy with the last person's trash, and the engine light was on!
Michael DoschThey stole my money charge put on me for gas that was already paid!!!! Never go there again for anything! They are crooks!!!! They still owe me $10!!!!!!!
SYLVIA STENSONI think that the employees should be able to do an inspection with the customer before and after the rental of the truck, including checking of mileage, gas tank, etc. Additionally, the employee should be able to give the customer an official U-Haul receipt and paperwork. I am much more comfortable with everything in writing.
James PenceThey lost our reservation even though I called the day priori to confirm we were good. Took use 2 HOURS to get the truck rebooked. 2 Hours!!! Delayed our entire move by 2 entire hours!!!! That's awful. Would not recommend using Uhaul to others.
