It would have been nice to get some money back since we turned it in a lot earlier than planned. It's kind of a double standard that we would get charged more if we use it over our rental time, but not get some money back if we return it early. Just a thought. Clean and sanitize the truck between each use. This truck had ashes all over the dashboard and trash in the door slots. The truck and seat belts stunk like armpits. You could tell it had not been cleaned for a long time. I will never rent from this location again.Randy B.

The passenger side windshield wiper on truck that I was provided did not work and I had to drive in the rain while using the rental. Additionally I was not supplied with the furniture blankets I requested.Dwagne H.
Back of the truck was infested with roaches, had to waste time buying bug spray and killing roaches and probably some of them ended up getting inside my family's stuff because no matter how many we killed more kept coming out when you close the door for a while. I called costumer service to complain and was told to bring the truck to the location so he can "Take a look at it" but my husband was already at the store buying bug spray and we had no more time to waste. Truck had check engine turned on, the person at the counter couldn't care less for it. That doesn't bother me because it did not leave us stranded but the infestation of roaches on the back was not awful to deal with.Thaina C.

The truck was loaded with ants. I dropped the truck off..shop was still open but he had me drop the key in outside box saying it was after 5pm... I assumed he would check vehicle so I informed him doors were not locked. He said ok and when I got in my vehicle noticed it was 4:59. I filled the fuel right before dropping off. Thank God I took a picture of the dash bc I was billed for gas. Still waiting to get refund.Leigh T.

There were baby ants all over the vehicle I suspect due to it being parked under some trees but the were all over the door hinges when you opened the door. We has some sodas from lunch and by the end of the trip they were all over the inside and outside the drinks and the cup holders. Could use some extermination! Otherwise it was pretty good with exception of adjusting the side mirrors. I couldn't locate anything that moved them. The passenger side was the only one the needing adjusted. The employee, Matt I presume was very nice and somewhat comical. Also the system did take a very long time attempting to download my idea. Method is way too time consuming when you are trying to get done on the road.Patsy S.

so i went to this place after being rerouted from another place and he was suppoe to be open for another 15 min and i went to the door and he came out and asked me what do i want not even may i help or anything. he then precedes to lock the door in front of me i told him im here for a reserved truck and then he goes to his car and says theres the online information they will help you it shouldnt take more than a few min. it took 2 freaking hours to get a damn truck just because this lazy guy couldnt stay open to the time he was suppose to be open for, needless to say i wont be doing uhaul ever again that was the worst experience i hope no other person has to deal with thatJames F.
We were charged a cleaning fee without our knowledge. When truck was dropped off at location the merchant said the system wasn't working. If there was an issue with the cleanliness of the vehicle we should have been informed prior to the bill.Bret H.

I waited while he finished a phone call (5 minutes) then he asked what I needed. I told him I needed to return the Uhaul. He took the key and said he'd take care of it. I left and while I was driving home I got an invoice stating I owed for 3/4 tank of gas when I filled it before I returned. It was in F. I tried to call and nobody answered and so I emailed him asking where he got the gas reading because the truck I had was on Full. No response. I should have known better to trust someone who can make a quick buck scamming me. I had no issue with the extra 40 $since I returned it at 4:30 and it was supposedly due at 10 am but don't charge me for gas when I purposely filled the tank before drop off. Very saddened by these circumstancesMichelle W.
Just took 30ish mins of my 5 hour rental to get my truck as a snag with the one I was renting got damaged and had to upgrade to a bigger unit. Plus another guy was in front of me, and only one guy using the computer.Zachary H.

I love Miss Stephanie and her staff. I've been using this center for the last 4 years and don't look forward to the next move and having to use a different center. By far the best and most friendly of all the storage facilities that I've used of any company.Robert S.
The owner was friendly, helpful, and amazing. The pick up service worked perfectly. In addition when I dropped off the vehicle I was unable to check it in for several reasons. One that was in my control (yikes) and the other one being that my cell phone was dying. The owner told me not to worry about it and he would take care of it. I walked away feeling relieved. He emailed me a copy of my receipt two minutes after leaving. Thank you for your service. I would definitely recommend this location.Terria S.

Service from onsite customer service made me feel that I was inconveniencing him. Very impersonal, did not answer questions asked when checking out truck I made note of damage,mismatch on fuel documented on sign out document, as well as attempting to confirm my adjustment took place for return to which he disregarded and attempted to charge for an additional day once truck was returned. Never again will I return to that location no matter how convenient in proximity to me that it is.Tara W.

My fiance booked the U-Haul with her credit card but in my name and when I got there he made me also use my credit card I told him we wanted to charge it to hers he said no problem and then ended up charging 99 $on mine before I even returned it and then took him a while to fix it, because I didn't drive as many miles as I estimated. I think he means well but might need some additional training.Larry D.

Would neverrrr recommend this guy to no one in the world. When I got my uhual the lady said that the reason it was left under E for gas is because it had been sitting for a while while police finished investigating it because someone had tried to steal it. She then told me it was the only 10 ft she had so she took a discount off of 28 $and told me because i picked it up on E u return it the same way to my one way drop off. I put the entire 28 $in the tank and drove 44 miles to to drop off location and the guy was super rude and would not accept the truck because it was only on a quarter tank so I called the lady and she explained to him that the gas is above the way I got the truck. He got off the phone and still tried to charge me 35 $even though she had just explained it to him and wouldn't accept the uhual. He was very mean and yelling at me and told me to just leave the truck without even finishing all the paper work and every thing . He just wanted me to leave because I continued to explain that they cannot change rules or payment amounts after I've been told one thing.GERICA D.

I returned the rental days early and in a cleaner condition then when I got it. I was not upset that the truck was a little dirty when I received it. The issue I have is when I contacted the drop off site the person, man I spoke with was immediately defensive when I asked what the additional 27 $+ charge was on the return. He stated that the truck was dirty and that he had to sweep it. I told him that I cleaned the truck and even took out trash that was in there when I got it. He staid â€œ do want you want call Uhaul I don't care!â€ I said thank you and I will. I would Have preferred him to just explain the charge however he chose to be rude and dismissive. This is not what I expect from a global brand. Customer service is essentially the only differential when selecting a service. The Jupiter location was wonderful, accommodating and willing to explain and go the extra mile. Tampa location was an experience that I would prevent me from renting again Thank you John MartinJohn M.

Despite your mobile app's purpose being convenience. It took an hour after my reservation time for my to gain access my truck. In addition, your mobile application lags tremendously. Pictures do not upload in a timely manner. I have resorted to use another moving service in the future.Simonisa S.
First, we were told to go to a location that was very difficult to find and when we finally did, he sent us to Matt's. My husband mentioned to the man there that we never received the furniture pads we paid for and that Wendall authorized 50 extra miles. My husband also followed the instructions for refilling the gas to the proper mark. After dropping off the truck and receiving the bill via email, we were charged for the extra miles and 2 gallons of gas as well as weren't credited for the missing furniture pads. My husband called Wendall who called Matt's and said a full refund of the charge would be issued. Instead, we were credited only 1/2 of the charge that shouldn't have happened in the first place.Eric C.

It rained during part of my drive and the truck leaked water all over my things. When I got to the storage facility they wouldn't let me store anything because it was wet and would cause mold. I had to go buy towels and come back and dry everything off. It was very inconvenient but thank goodness my stuff wasn't ruined. Uhauls should not leak. I told the store owner when I returned and he said â€œI'll have it repaired.â€Valerie S.
I was very disappointed in my first truck share mobile check in for the scheduled U-Haul. There was a glitch in the system during the live verification process. All throughout the first 40 minutes of my 4 hour scheduled allowed time with the U-Haul rental, I was put on hold & transferred two times with customer service and was not helped by the agent that ended up speaking with me to correct the issue. Also, I was attempting to contact a live agent through the online system but, there was no response. Until I finally uploaded the incorrect information is when the live agent responded that additional information was needed to verify identity. So, the live agent was misinterpreting the second contact information that I was providing as the same person as my additional driver because the agent did not pay attention to the two names and mistakenly assumed it was the same person when it was two different people. All in all, from the glitch in the live verification system to customer service not being able to help to the live agent not responding then misinterpreting the given information (I have screenshots were the agent admits the issue and apologizes), I was not pleased. It took almost an hour of my scheduled time rented with the U-Haul to be able to check in to retrieve the U-Haul keys to start my moving process. I would not recommend to someone using this mobile check in feature because the live agents are not available to help & customer service was not trained on how the mobile check in works. I also replied through email my concerns after receiving a check out email asking for my experience.Janeth P.
