JACOB Bmaybe clean out the van. contained trash and plant matter throughout on pickup. also, your stupid app sucks, and crashed on return. do better.
mcclain lMy one "needs improvement" remark for this location is they need to allow CUSTOMERS to use their restroom. People RE IN A HURRY W/MOVING/RETURNING THE TRUCK ON-TIME, ETC - THEY'RE GOING TO NEED TO USE THE RESTROOM. Beyond that, there were no issues w/ this LOCATION - my issues are with the overall experience..
Christine KHad a very poor experience with u-haul cargo van rental. They did not have a van ready for us at our reservation time and it took 2 hours to get one. Got to the location at my reservation time and the app said they didn't have a van assigned for us and instructed me to call a number. Had to wait on hold with customer service for 30 minutes, just to be disconnected and told to "call back at a later time" because they were having issues. Finally got a hold of someone on the phone who fixed the issue but we were set back by 2 hours while we were already on a strict timeline. Such bad service and experience!

Noah JKind of a hassle taking pictures of the Trailer and the Parking spot where we dropped it off. It was dark outside so I wonder how well the pictures looked. The process was also a bit complicated.
Bob HApproval of previous customers should be recognized and make the check out more efficient and fast, sometimes it takes almost half to an hour to check out, when you call customer service it takes too long to get your phone answered, that’s the only issue, otherwise everything else is fantastic, I will keep using u -haul for my future work

Katie DI took photos of how much gas was in the tank before I left and when I returned and it was at the same level. Frustrating to be charged for gas when I filled it to same level.

DHONDUP TIf appliance dollies are offered, please ensure they are available. Have trucks checked in and ready at start of business day. Front desk guy was great but the equipment availability issues made this a really poor experience. It was not his fault at all but U-Haul and the business had things offered that were not available.
Marvin DTruck was a little on the dated side (no power windows or power locks), but can understand the need for that. Service was timely and efficient.
Denise KThe hand truck I reserved with the truck was apparently "out with someone else" when I picked up my truck, which ended up being a problem and made moving a real pain in the back - Literally. There were also a lot of crumbs and a sticky substance on much of the center console that I had to clean off.

David DOrdered and paid for a dolly and moving furniture blankets. Neither were in the van when I ordered, which made it so I could not move what was needed and ended up being a waste of a day and money.

VALERIE CThis person was abbreviated and cranky with me when I came in for my Uhaul. As a counselor, it was not a positive experience. I did not obtain a 2 wheeler and another move assist for electronics was offered. I accepted and when I forgot that object, the employee never tracked me down in the parking lot and I was charged for it. I know the employee would have preferred not to be working and would have liked to be at her sisters by the pool, but this was my worst experience with Uhaul and I have not bothered to get the 7 dollars back because I don't want to deal with her. Dorothy RSuper easy and very clean. I rented a van that I only needed for 3 hours. I drove myself there with the intent of leaving my car there for those 3 hours. However, was told that I could not park in their lot and had to park on street which was already crowded. Would have been 5 stars if there was parking.
CHRISTOPHER JUpon check in at 10:45am or an 11am pick up. I was told that there was "no reservation" at this location for me. I provided my confirmation number but the agent said "that wouldn't help him". Once, the agent finally found my reservation and verified that I was at the "correct location". The process to pay and check out was lengthy and exhausting. The agent could not figure out the computer system to enter my driver license info, contact info, etc….. Once that was taken care of and I was assigned a truck, I asked if there was anything important that I needed to know about specifics for driving the 15' uhaul. I was told "well it has air brakes". I asked what that means and was told "it has air brakes that's all I can say". Bottom line…. No advice given. Frustrated, I left and drove the 10 minutes home to start packing. I paid for a moving dolly, blankets, etc…. All which I paid for with the agent. I opened the back of the truck and the items I ordered were not there. (In the past when uhaul have been rented, all equipment has been in the back. I just assumed the same for this time) I called the agent at the meadowbrook location and he acted like he had no idea who I was…. I HAD JUST LEFT AFTER 40 mins OF renting the uhaul. I was told that he "did not have items at his location and I would have to call around to find them". I explained that I was on time constraints for a move and was asking if he could locate the items I needed. The agent said "he could not help me and I would need to call 1-800-uhaul" As you can imagine, the frustration continued for me. I made the move without the items I paid to rent!!!!!!! I am hoping that a representative from your company can call me and make things right with this entire awful situation. I believe the agents name at meadowbrook on Friday, June 14 at 10:30am was Jim. I know that he is an insurance agent and did a lot of driving back and forth to Madison. I will say that the uhaul itself was perfect and served our purposes. Andrew KThe experience was absolutely horrible. My U-Haul did not come with all the equipment I ordered and the return process took forever. Several pieces of furniture got scratched because we were not given the items we requested. I also had to use my mobile device to return the truck even though someone was at the location (doing nothing). The service was not helpful at all. Very unprofessional.

Brett CThe app was not working when returning the truck. We spent 20 minutes trying to submit truck pictures until we finally called customer service. I think the app may need some more work.
Marisela Fmy pickup location was moved by UHaul and this created many problems for me. First, the location was not open at my arranged pick up time, but to my knowledge this was not comunicated to me in advance. Also, using the app was not efficient, i had to call UHaul for customer service to fix my problems, and it took me more than one hour to pick up my vehicle, and i did NOT have time for this delay on a very busy day. The person working at my pick up location arrived 15 minutes AFTER the stated hours on the door, and she was basically of no assistance to me. I expected MUCH greater customer service from UHaul, and mostly was surprised that my location changed without my knowing i had to use the app to check out the rental truck. This was very disappointing and inefficient.
Rob RThe customer service is excellent, she walked me through the process and was wonderful! So helpful! My only issue was the language in the truck warning messages were in Spanish and my Spanish is rusty. The price was right! I will rent again soon!
CHRISTINA WThe staff was borderline incompetent that i dealt with when i picked up the uhaul, and the staff that was there when i dropped off the uhaul at the meadowbrook location was rude and yelling at a customer on the phone when i arrived. She was unpleasent the whole way through. Uhaul has always been a nightmare, at least the employees that i have dealt with. They always seem either incredibly upset and unhappy with everything or they are unable to do their jobs correctly. This whole experience was incredibly negative man… bummer

Glaring at me,harsh tones,and snaping up paperwork and keys from me since she wasn't finishing saying what she wanted to tell me.this wasn't my first rental so I understood what steps she was telling me.then she stomps out of the office to check on the truck,befor coming back in.my older son who drove me to the rental noticed her and thought she was crazy talking to herself checking the truck. It was ridiculous and uncalled for.i didn't deserve that treatment I got while just trying to rent a truck. Very unprofessional, and maybe she shouldn't be working there if that's the way she treats customers. I will never recommend that u haul place to anyone I know.
BRIAN KThe app is completely useless. I had a terrible experience with it rejecting my check-in multiple times, then telling me to go to a different location from where my vehicle actually was. I wasted 90 minutes trying to check-in and ultimately didn't succeed. I ended up talking to someone at this location and they just cancelled my reservation and got me a new one in 5 minutes. The app also didn't work for returning the vehicle and I ended up using the mobile website instead because the app just wouldn't load at all.

Susan WAdvice for anyone trying to submit vehicle or driver's license photos via the UHaul app- it is a junk app and kept freezing as I would try to submit photos. It was very frustrating but I learned from a customer service agent that you can do the same process on their website. I had a much easier time submitting photos from my phone via the website.

Stella HVary vary rude Employee who screamed at me and cursed me out for asking questions. Would not recommend to anyone. She also claimed she was working at 2 different locations so I had to do everything myself when I arrived back with the Uhaul.. Never going back to that location.

Scott HMy mobile check in was a complete unmitigated nightmare! That process alone will make me more than think twice before renting again snd NEVER after hours. I have completely changed my policy on recommending u- haul to others. I never thought twice about it before. Now however, for fear they might have an experience even half as bad just takes any recommendation off the table.

Nathan KDropped off the keys same day I picked up the vehicle. Individual asked me if she could email a drop off confirmation as her phone was not working. The only email I received was an additional charge for gas. I stayed below the allotted 30 miles that was included in my rental price, but still charged for gas. There was only a quarter tank of gas in the vehicle when I picked it up.

DHONDUP TAs soon as I turned the key, the low tire pressure indicator displayed. I notified the counter person about this, and drove a short distance to my home. I filled the tire to 80 psi, and the indicator no longer displayed. This did not require a lot of my time, but I felt I deserved some credit for tire maintenance. The truck had only 12 000 miles and I wasn't going to complain. It would be nice if U haul had some light duty trucks that use less gas, I only had 300 pounds in a 10 foot truck, and it required $17 to bring the tank up to initial level for 55 miles round trip. I swept the floor, and cleaned the glass. The lady at the counter was very pleasant.
dave wThe drop off experience was terrible. The phone scan method was not working so I went into the office for help. She said she had never helped anyone do that and only has checked someone in. So I asked if she could help check me in and she made it apparent she didn't want to do that either. In the end she did and if checked out ok, but due to this experience I don't know I would rent again.

TABITHA PBe cautious when providing credit card information. I was charged twice and ignored after repeated attempts to contact. Last , make sure to ask questions ( no question is a dumb question).
