This was not the original drop off location. There was no one there at the original drop off location. They didn't answer the phone and their voice mail was full. We called UHaul to confirm our 120 blanket reservation would be available the next morning. When we arrived on the day of the reservation, they had no idea what blankets we were talking about. Once we finally got through to the person who could help us, she told me she actually couldn't help and that it was on me to call around to various locations to see who had enough blankets for us. Later in the week we went to pick up the truck. When we got there, the truck was there but the keys could not be located. After an hour, they realized the keys were in the after-hours lockbox they didn't know they had.JARED H.

Your company needs to improve how you are contacting your customers. You need to have your company name show up when you make your courtesy calls. We had an issue with our reservation, our reservation was changed to a different time and further location without our knowledge because we didn't realize that your company had contacted us, the number that y'all use need to say Uhaul so that customes won't think it's spam, we were very inconvenienced with the change and it costed us a 2 hour delay,Cortland R.

Attendant didn't know how to process a drop-off & tried to charge me again. Also, they didnt know how to make the jack work to unhitch the trailer. I felt like I was an inconvenience for them. They definitely need a U-Haul trained attendant there.Linda S.

I checked in online because it was supposed to be a faster process, but it was still asked to do the things I did online. Also, I requested an appliance dolley and utility dolley and these items were not at the location. I was charged before I left the pick up location instead of when I got back causing me to have 2 different transactions to my bank account.Angela S.

The employee working was very nice. I had everything done online before the pick up date but it still took almost an hour to pick up vehicle. The employee evidently was working by herself and if any other customers came into business I was put to the side until she finished with them. A minimum of 10 people were put ahead of me. I purposely did the paperwork ahead of time to save time. If this process was intended to help in expediting the process it failed. Also in checking on vehicle I did not realize I needed to check every nook. At a glance I thought vehicle was clean but in reality empty drink bottle were left in door pockets, popcorn pieces left on floor. And the cab reeked of cigarette smoke. I am a non smoker. If it had not been for the fact that I drove from Dothan then picked up truck (btw the only rental vehicle there), and at this point was already behind on time due to the prolonged process, I would have demanded my money back or an alternate vehicle.michele P.

The service was terrible. The communication between customer and representative was awful. The information was incorrect. They told us something that was not true and then they wouldn't take back the truck. They never told us a drop off location and a time when it had to be there. They are also trying to charge me extra. One person said $39 for an extra day. The other person that was giving us trouble was trying to charge us about $56. They said we needed to call the closest U-haul facility. The prices were very cheap compared to a lot of others. U-haul is an excellent business it was just the customer service was terrible.Tristan J.

Area that the trailer was to be parked was flooded. Needless to stay, I ended up with wet feet. Had to disconnect trailer with no jack and by myself.L J B.
We had to wait on the owner to clean out the truck. It looked like he had been using it for personal use or the store use. Once he did that it was clean. It did kind of smell like garbage for a bit though.Kristy C.

Upon returning the truck, the provider began processing my return. I was asked and provided to take a picture of the truck's mileage and fuel amount. The provider never looked at the truck herself. While processing the return, I had to step aside and wait as the provider kept checking out all new customers coming into the store. I finally got tired of waiting on her and told her "thank you, have a nice day" and I left the store. I hope I never have to deal with this store and it's employees again.Randal F.
Price charged was for two day, when turn in truck at destination was charged an additional $56 for extra day and insurance. Very dissatisfied with Uhaul rep telling gentleman at destination that I would have to respond online. Customer service was good until this point.Joel O.
I had to wait over an hour to get the keys. There were no checks performed on my vehicle, or the equipment being rented. I had to attach the tow dolly to the uhaul by myself, and put my car on the tow dolly by myself. I felt extremely unsafe during this entire process. The clerk stayed on her phone on a personal call during the whole process. It took 30 minutes to drop the rental off, she even refused to walk to the truck herself to check the mileage and gas, and informed me I had to use my phone to take a picture of it.spencer T.

The Male employee was relentless in finding me a cargo trailer asap and very professional too. Once I arrived at the pick up location, the female at thr Citgo in Montevallo, AL was extremely helpful and personable. She knew what she was doing. She cheerfully greeted every customer who walked through the door that morning, never missing a beat from the songs playing on the radio. When it came time for me to go, I didn't know how to hook up a Uhaul so she asked a customer who happened to walk in right then to do her a favor and hook up my trailer. He never hesitated. Awesome people who went out of their way to go above and beyond their service to help. Kudos! Please give them praise.pamela S.

Uhaul Is very unlikely to get my business again. It took from 9:00am (scheduled pick time) until 4:30pm when I finally had all of my equipment picked up. I went to one location twice attempting to pick up my equipment that was closed then uhaul redirected me to another pickup location 2 cities away. Then when I picked up the truck I had to go to another location to pickup my dolly. The next day I picked up an auto transport from yet another location and had to sit there for at least 2 hours waiting on roadside to come work on it because it would not lock down. Uhaul didn't just cost me valuable time moving but I was paying someone to help me load and pick up the equipment. The roughly 10 hours of wasted time cost me $150 which Uhaul has yet to offer anything for.JOSH M.

The montevallo Citgo did everything right. But, I was scheduled to pick this trailer up in Tuscaloosa. I had to drive an extra 195 miles because of uhauls mistake. I talked to a dozen CSRs, none of which had the ability to waive the wrong location drop off fee that would have saved me an entire day and a tank of gas. Very dissatisfied with uhaul. I will never be a uhaul customer again.JOSHUA H.
3 days after I turned in the dolly I received a bill for an additional day. I was mad so I called the service hotline and explained it to the operator. Once I explained the situation she turned it over to a manager for approval. They quickly settled my account. They were quick and courteous to fix the mistake.
