Uhaul messed up my reservation, thus the key for before hours pickup (7am) was not available. My day plan was very dependent on getting the Uhaul early, so having to wait until 10am to get my truck was a huge inconvenience to the day. Uhaul only refunded $50 for this, which frankly is not enough considering they took 3 hours of my work for their own mistake.

I returned my uhaul truck at 3 pm on Friday. I asked for them to check in the truck so I wouldn't get charged for extra time. He held his hand out for the keys and told me to leave and that he wouldn't be checking the truck in until he was ready to. My paperwork technically allowed me to have the truck until 9 am on Saturday. At 10 am on Saturday, I still had not gotten an email that it was returned. I called uhaul and they had not checked in the truck yet. Luckily the woman on the phone was nice and helpful and was able to call the location. But the worked was extremely rude and held on to checking in the truck so that I would get charged for another day. Will not use Uhaul again, and will tell friends and family to use another service.

At first they said I had to drop the car carrier at a location a hour away. After 30 to 40 mins on the phone with several service people they agreed to take it at that location.

The manager of the location, when attempting to attach the vehicle moving trailer to my car, didn't block the trailer wheels correctly and as a result, rammed the trailer tongue into my bumper denting it and causing over $600 damage. I reported it to Uhaul's insurance company and have had yet to hear back from them.

The worst website for booking and return that exists. The inability to easily reach telephone support, and chat operation is horrible ! The vehicle and location were awesome, but to obtain the vehicle and return it horrible.

There is not the best cellular service at this location, which makes using the Mobile Ap as part of the check-out process a little slow for customers.

The online experience was horrible. Thank goodness the proprietors of the gas station were amazing and helpful! Those U-Haul personnel are fantastic at Mt. Airy Exxon. The app and website were a bear to work with. Calling nation wide customer service was a nightmare. More than an hour wait - got a call back, only to be put on hold for another 30 mins before I hung up. Overall a 5/10. In person customer service could not have been better. But all other experience - the app, website and calling customer service - were horrible.

Make sure existing damage is reported. Give truck FULL of fuel. So can refill back to full. Needle doesn't move spent an extra $50 on gas trying to get it back to 3/4 tank. Dont charge late drop off fee when dropped off early

Pickup up took awhile. I was hoping to do everything online, nut I had to go inside and that took 15 minutes to get the keys. Drop off was easy and fast and able to do everything with the app.

My comments have nothing to do with the location, except that your GPS kept telling me that I wasn't there. Your online check in is Bull Shit, it took longer to get in the truck than I actually used it. Let me rate my U Haul experience, on a scale of 1-10, I would give it a 1.

A few minutes after sitting in the uHaul, my passenger and I started to feel unwell with sinus and severe headache. After a few minutes outside of the vehicle, we started to feel better. The vehicle heavily smelled of stale cigarettes.

Really clumsy check-in procedure. Fantastic vehicle, but for a little truck "15 foot" a real gas hog: 35 miles, 8 gallons. (I have negative comment about on-site check-in and payment procedure that probably doesn't need to be "public"; but the "use our contact" button below, does not connect to a useful screen.)

This vehicle should not be in service. The drivers side front bumper-fender was poorly repaired from an earlier accident. There is was not sufficient clearance between the damaged fender and the tire when steering. The tire rubs the fender because it was not repaired properly. Who approved this repair? A tail light had a missing lens. the light works but could likely have an electrical short if it would have stormed that night. The floor of the cargo area has a plate that has a corner bent up so loading in and out had this obstacle. I rent U-Hauls frequently and probably won't pick up one from this location again. In general this location (Exxon) is run down and poorly maintenanced (inside an out).

This was a gas station - employee was busy checking out customers so it took me a long time to get the trailer. The trailer was very dirty outside - I washed it. The clerk also added on a $40 charge that I did not authorize and refused to remove it saying I had to call the 1-800 number.

I was charged a "after hour fee" of $20. I checked the truck in at 3:30 pm. I called this location and he said i had to speak with uhaul. Called, on hold for 47 minutes, still not resolved

Your car mover does not work with my 2011 Chevy Camaro, and yet you let me rent it knowing what car I was trying to tow! I loaded the Camaro on the car mover, then couldn't open the door b/c the door hit the fenders for the wheels! I was STUCK in my Camaro, and had to back it back off in order to get out of the car! Complete waste of money! I had to call a tow company and flat tow the Camaro. I should not have to pay for this!

I used this location to fill the truck with gas before I returned it. I filled the tank until the pump stopped, so it should have been full. I got my receipt and they say I didn't fill the truck, so either their pump is wrong or I got charged the fuel charge in error.

None of the safety chains on the trailer had the rubber retainers to keep them secured. I had to take them from 2 other trailers to make my ride safe. Obviously no inspections done on return and maintenance by uhaul is severely lacking. I have rented 3 trailers in a month and every one has had significant safety flaws. If there was somewhere else to rent a trailer I would pay a premium to avoid uhaul.

Guy behind the counter was very helpful, very patient. I spilled coffee on the counter, I couldn't find my reading glasses, etc and he just got some napkins, explained everything I couldn't read. Just very helpful and pleasant. Merci.

Truck was not clean. There was one person operating a gas station, convenience store and U-Haul rentals. The customer service line for U-Haul is completely understaffed. I called several times to confirm reservation, was on hold over 20 minutes each time.

My return receipt shows returned at 545pm when actually returned at 12:44pm. Even the date and time on receipt are earlier. The gentleman working REFUSED to give me any documentation showing my return date and time but promised over and over it would be reported correctly. I will never rent there again.

Rented 15' truck and person tried to give me a 10' truck. Threw blankets on floor of store for me to take with me. After completing my rental and getting a copy of the invoice, i see that I was charged for fuel when I filled it back up. I AM A RETURN CUSTOMER, NOT THIS LOCATION, BUT IT HAS MADE ME RETHINK UHAUL.

The representative wanted me to hook the trailer on to the hitch. Also told me that the connection for lights from the trailer to my (new 2020) truck would not fit. I attached myself to demonstrate that the connections fit. Seemed bothered and inconvenienced that I was there to pick up the trailer.

Hitch mount for this trailer was rusted and got stuck onto my hitch. Rented the trailer for 24 hours from 9 AM, but returned it at midnight. When returning the trailer, attendant did not have tools to remove hitch mount so I had to go get tools to remove their trailer. Also was charged for 2 days even though I had a rental at another Uhaul location at the same time of the return. Would not recommend this location to anyone.

Took 45 minutes to switch trucks. First one I got was too small so we went with a bigger one. Entire thing should have been contactless but guy kept trying to get me to give him my phone. Second time renting here and will not go again. Truck was in terrible shape. Honestly didn't think I was going to make it up a hill in my neighborhood.

Unrelated to this location, the entire UHAUL experience was frustrating as it is an undependable service. There were last minute changes to our pick-up location, which caused inconvenience. Further, unexplainable by UHAUL reps, that change also caused our drop off location to change. We were told system showed drop off location other than what online confirmation showed - but could not confirm that in writing. Hold times to speak with representatives were extensive. Several of the reps I spoke with seemed in a hurry and did not care to take time to figure out issues. The process was extremely stressful during a move which is stressful in itself - tag line during on hold advertisement talked about how UHAUL takes stress out of move - false advertising with that sentiment. Trying to have all ducks in a row ahead of time for a move, will not include UHAUL next time I schedule one.

I reserved a ONE WAY rental, yet im told as im PICKING UP THAT THEY DO NOT DO ONE WAY RENTALS. NOT ONLY DID I HAVE TO PAY MORE IN MILEAGE TO BRING THE DAMN TRUCK BACK BUT I HAD TO PAY MORE IN GAS AND ONLY GOT A DAMN $5 REFUND. UNBELIEVABLE. We have rented Uhauls several times and the staff has always hooked up the trailer and unhooked it. This drop off location didnt even come outside or help in anyway. Wont use them in the future.
