The location itself was fine- there was a woman there who helped us when things were not clear. The app kept telling me to re-verify with my phone contacts even though they answered the phone when UHaul called, which was frustrating and time consuming. The worst part of the experience wasn't the truck itself, but the movers I used from the UHaul Moving Help website, Construction Home Advisors. The first day, they were 2 hours late. The following day, they kept calling saying they were running late because of the â€˜rain' (there wasn't any) and then they eventually stopped answering my calls after 5 hrs and I had to call another moving service last min and pay nearly $900. Terrible, terrible experience.Emily D.

There was a used face mask on the dash, and a empty pack of cigarettes and leaves in the back of truck. Online pick up and drop off was a nightmare to use. Never again.Nathan L.

Is extremely difficult to rent a truck on line,because the frequent time that ask you to take a photo of anything to proceeds the application and make you lose a lot of time, sorry but I won't do a rent a truck on line, you should give a customer and easy way to do so!!!Federico V.

I ordered the smallest uhaul truck. I get to the location and the keys were never put in the box so then I had to take a bigger one. I appreciate that they had a truck at all but I ordered a small one because I have a tight driveway. With the bigger one it made it a lot harder to load and unload than it would have been with the truck I ordered.Ariana B.

As I walked into the facility I noticed it was disorganized compared to the Bronx store I left a few hours before. As I walked to the counter the woman was sitting there on her phone or iPad and it was almost as if I was interrupting her. She took my name and started looking up my information and then got a phone call and proceeded to help a customer on the phone with pricing for a storage unit rather than finish helping me. It wasn't till I did a little huffing and puffing that she told the person she would call them back. Then after she hung up the phone she started doing a bunch of clicking on her computer. For a good two minutes not saying a word to me. I finally asked her if she was able to find my information and she said â€œyeah I'm doing it now.â€ Just not a very professional atmosphere or exchange.Josie R.

The customer service people at 105 Bates Street, Pawtucket, RI, although very nice to us, gave us the wrong drop off location. Perhaps, they were led by the automated computer program that directed us to the wrong drop off location. In fact, the drop off location at 560 Bank St. Waterbury, CT was closing and if we were any later, we would have lost a great deal of time finding the correct drop off location at 169 Meriden Rd, Waterbury.Eugene R.
I did an after hours pickup. The dolly I rented was not put in the uhaul. And the after hours way of Picking up a truck is ridiculously difficult. Was my worst experience by far with renting uhauls.Donna M.

Nothing to improve in our experiences so far!! :)) We have had a great experience with the few times we have rented trucks for New England Storage on Bates St. Pawtucket, RI 02860. We also rented 2 Storage units at the same place. The lady Christina was excellent & also has a great personality. She also was very knowledgeable in her job. Thanks for a great job!! We had paid for the insurance and move safe on the truck, unfortunately while getting to my home we found majiuana in the cab, and the moving pads were missing from the back, we called the lady apologized but no other action was taken, we paid for that conscience and it was not there plus dealing with illegal substances found in the truck was a big let down with us to the company. The trucks should be more inspected before they can be used. Mind you we made the reservation a week ahead of time.Nathan B.

I picked up the truck at 11:10 and dropped it off the same day at 5:20pm (only 6hrs & 10mins of use). And when I left, the truck was at 30 010 miles & when i returned it, the truck was at 30 052 (42 miles)...I got charged for extra miles. What happened to the 54 allowed miles??? Come to find out, they recorded my return time as 11:00am the next day (~18 extra hours that I did not use), and they actually only allowed 39 miles...which is unfair knowing that I was traveling to RI. I purposely called to reserve this via telephone so I can get accurate information and choose the best option but yet, still I was misinformed and therefore overcharged. Uhaul could have done a much better job at explaining my options and rates. I would think long and hard before ever renting with them again. Rather go through someone else that values customers and does not mislead people.Tiana R.

I have used storage units quite a few times in my life. Your workers are quite nasty and not helpful at all. My brand new mattress got ruined there because of some type of moisture from the floor. Nothing was done because my son in law didn't have insurance there but it should have been handled more customer friendly. Asked if I could put in dumpster was told it costs 65$. He could not pro-rate because we took out two weeks early. All in all it was a very bad experience. Someone should have helped us more. I would not would not recommend your place ever.maryanne D.

Kristina was excellent. Friendly and very helpful. She called to let us know that the truck I was renting would arrive late, so I could plan my arrival accordingly. She was understanding in regards to our frustration about the lateness of the truck return.Elizabeth B.
Kristina was excellent! kept us informed about the whereabouts of the vehicle. Pickup was 12:30 but renter didn't return vehicle until 1PM. Kristina extended our rental time until 1pm the next day. My overall experience was very frustrating. I rented a truck for 2 days, then received a call that I couldn't rent for 2 days, so I had to rent a separate vehicle on each day. Extremely inconvenient and more costly due to extra mileage incurred. Management should have upheld the original reservation. Through no fault of mine, I was very inconvenienced.Elizabeth B.
