When I arrived they couldn't accept my truck because they were full, so the attendant tried to send me to a different location (I reserved the truck 2 weeks in advance and I got it 2 days before returning it and in both printed papers were the same dropping localation). I complained and finally I ask if they will going to be responsible for the equipment when I drive to the new location. The attendant finally accepted my vehicle, but she wasn't happy nor me.
ANGEL AThe guy at the Uhaul didn't know anything about the trailer we rented and the hitch we could use. I got no instructions of what to do when dropping it off and I won't be going to this location again.
MATTHEW LI got charged seven dollars for furniture, dolly and seven dollars for the truck Dolly and five dollars for some moving blankets. The furniture dolly in the blankets were not in the truck and I did not use the truck dolly. I was charged $19 for stuff I didn't use. The whole purpose of the truck was the move and I needed the blankets and the furniture dolly so very frustrating. It wasn't there.

GERARD AThere was a dent in the side of the truck that was not marked when we picked up the truck, but the attendant at the location came out and marked it really quickly.
CARTER MCustomer service at the New Hope site was awful. From the second I walked in the door, it was obvious the woman didn't want to help me. She told me she didn't normally work for UHaul, but instead worked for the moving company next door. Basically, she gave me the keys and left me on my own, telling me I needed to inspect the vehicle before I took off, and told me that I could use the app to do so. I couldn't find where to do that on the app, so I returned to the office to ask how to do it; she was annoyed and told me she didn't know anything about the app. When I came back yet another time, to report damage, she said "This is too much!" and treated me like a fool. I'd never rented a UHaul before, and I needed to figure out how to operate the vehicle on my own. I never did figure out how to use cruise control. I will NEVER pick up a vehicle at that location again.

DOMINIC YThe uhaul check in process is flawed. The review shouldn't be geared towards the location. I already completed my pre check in, took pictures of my ID. Then to get the truck, I had to do it again. Then it makes you add another contact in to be called to verify yourself. What happens when someone doesn't have friends or family? That REALLY needs to be reconsidered. It was sooooo inconvenient
Rosalee RReservation was for 1 pm. I showed up at 12:55 pm and there was only two parking places both of which were in use. The remaining street parking were all marked no parking. After parking in a no parking zone, I went to the office only to find it was closed and didn't open until 1. At about 1:10, person showed up. She helped me rent the trailer, and there was no problem other than I felt like I was renting from fly by night rental. I would have preferred to deal with the normal U-Haul center down the road instead of this location.

Joanie MThe lady at the front counter didn’t extend my rental as I had requested she said did it and once I brought it to return it they mentioned to me that I brought the vehicle late very dissatisfied with the poor service that was done at the new hope location.
Luis RThe only "issue" was that I was renting the truck for only a couple of hours, and they have signage stating that no personal vehicles can be left on the property. I was not aware of that when I booked, so I needed to find a place to park my car while I used the truck. Fortunately, the attendant allowed me to park back in the lot where the trucks are kept, but made it clear that was an exception to their rule. For those of us who are one-manning little jobs and only need a truck for a little while, it would be very helpful to have a spot to leave our vehicle.

Marie UReturned after business hours and didn't have the costumer contacted us back. We just follow the instructions in how to return after business hours in the parking lot.
Reginaceli MI was disappointed with a few things. The woman who checked us in told us the truck was full of gas and to ensure it was full when we returned it. When we checked the fuel gauge, it was below the full line but I assumed that must be where "full" was for the vehicle since the woman had so strongly said it was full. We put 9 gallons of gas in before returning the truck. We only drove 22 miles. There is no way we used 9 gallons of gas. And sure enough, the fuel gauge was much higher. This felt very shady. Additionally, we returned the truck after hours and did it realize that there would be an ask for pictures. We were trying to be efficient so I competed the steps online while my husband returned the key. Little did we know that the third step would be providing pictures. That should have been a step one or it would have been nice if it had been outlined up front so we knew to keep the keys. At 10pm this was not a stresser we needed. Merci!
Erin MService lady was exceptional. My 6yr old daughter got stung by a bee just walking up to the steps & the lady pulled out a first aid kit, talked to her, and helped her feel better. She even led us out a back way to the parking lot to avoid going by where there could be bees since my young daughters were scared of getting stung again. She went way above and beyond what she needed to do.
Ben DOver 45 min wait to check out trailer. Lights did not work. No one was around when I went to return. I stood in the office and called the office number. No answer. The woman working was apparently in a truck. Invest in a cordless phone or forward to a cell when away from the desk.
Timoothy HThe office was closed so I dropped off the keys in the drop box. Didn't have any issues other than knowing where to park the uhual truck. Space was limited for a 20 foot truck.

MAWUENYA SThe Uhaul website is terrible. It filled information incorrectly after I had entered it correctly. The New Hope location employee said they could not find the unit I returned on the date scheduled. I was charged an after hours fee but was not made aware of this fact ahead of time. I waited 20 minutes to pick up my rental while the office door was locked with a sign saying the employee was "in the back." When he finally did arrive in the office he smelled like an ashtray. This experience was an absolute disaster. I will NEVER use Uhaul again.

LESLIE GWould be nice if online check in had an expedited pick up process or priority at the scheduled pick up time. But the woman at the desk was super nice and got me going as quickly as she could. Strong customer service. Merci!
JOSEPH YI requested a dolly and two wheel cart. When I picked up the truck they were not there. I noted this during the online check in process and provided photo evidence but I was still charged at checkout. I emailed them speaking the charges but have not heard back.

Amy DIt takes a long time to pick up the truck with all of the picture taking and such. I am not sure I would do it this way again.
Cheryl SThe store opens at 9am. There was no one on site until 9:15. There were 3 groups of people waiting and watched them pull in and open the door. The agent was very friendly and professional so, not a big deal she was a little late.
