This location met expectations for a small U-Haul store.

WILLIAM MI made a reservation for an 15' truck and an appliance dolly online. One day before the pickup date, I visited the pickup location to make sure all is set. Well, I was informed by the attendant that an appliance dolly is not "in stock". The only solution was to rent an appliance dolly locally at another location which resulted in a $30 + tax charge instead of $10+ tax charge and the inconvenience to travel to and from the other location to get and drop off the appliance dolly. Furthermore, I was informed that I would receive a credit of $22,75 if I return the truck with a 1/4 tank full of gas. When I returned the truck, I found out that I still had to pay that amount because it was required to return the truck with 1/4 tank full to avoid the extra charge. This was poor communication on the side of the representative (best case) or a deceptive sales strategy (worst case).

Eddie GMy drop-off location was changed multiple times by uhaul staff. They were helpful on the phone and I have no complaints with the people I talked with on the phone; I appreciate their communication to ensure I didn't show up at a location without room for a drop-off. However, it was frustrating to be regularly receiving text messages and phone calls for the entire day when I was trying to focus on the task for which I had rented the vehicle. Finally, when I did go to drop off my rental, the uhaul app was not working and I could not do a mobile drop off. Once again, the staff I called were responsive and we came up with an alternative plan but all these additional processes took much longer than originally anticipated.

amanda rI specifically requested to return the uhaul to the same location and was charged extra for doing so because of an employee error. After discussing with the employee I was told to call corporate and work it out myself.

Justin CThe truck did not have AC. I put a half a tank, more gas than what the truck was supposed to have by accident. I went over 6 miles and y'all still charged me when I was at a loss I probably will not use U-Haul again and I use U-Haul for everything in the past.

Miguel MYou need more employees. I was there at 2:45pm on a Friday and there was no one there, I waited 45 mins and then someone came. He said he was at lunch, which I can understand, but you must have someone there not just close up shop whenever one feels. After he came back, he wasn't aware or sure how to check in the truck as the drop off location was stated as another and I had to facilitate a call with the original location to help. I facilitated the conversation as tye customer and working with both got this done. I didn't realize that I pay for a Uhaul and work for Uhaul.

Jane LLocation is a storage facility so reasonable modern and clean. Staff was courteous and efficient in accepting the return, although there were issues with accessing the U-Haul app to quickly complete the return process.
Sue PCheck the car batteries voltage charge regularly. This should be routine maintenance. The battery died as soon as I got it home and wasted a whole day (because it was after closing hours) and had to wait until the next day to get the battery replaced.

Ross MI got transferred to a location 35 min from my house when I signed a contract for a location 5 min from my house. The transfer was a day or two before my move, so I had zero time to adjust for my additional hour of travel time.

RICHARD Hthe location was convenient, however using the software was awful...every single page timed out and when I tried to return it, it literally would make me do all of step 1 (take pictures, record mileage, record fuel, etc) hit next, it would time out and make me start over.
Heather POnce I finally got the truck and began loading it was filthy inside. I experienced the craziest situation trying to obtain a truck in the Houston area. I was switched 5 times and finally got one and it was dirty. Moving pads were hard to find and had to go to another location to get those.
Steven LThe mobile check in/out process is pretty frustrating. During the check out process, I wasn't able to use my phone number because it had been used with another email address. I had to use the chat to sort out how to proceed which was to use another number. During the check in process,I tried several times to upload a photo of the mileage and gas, but it never worked and there isn't a chat feature available for the check in. I had to wait until the location I rented from opened to be able to return the truck. I definitely have not enjoyed the mobile check in/out system the last two times I've rented from U-Haul.
Brian WI have been overcharged for this rental due to the truck not being checked in for two after it was returned. I have been advised numerous times the charges were in error and would be credited. Those credits have yet to be applied. I am requesting someone from Uhaul management contact me regarding this dispute. Merci.
